I try my best to avoid Walmart in general, but sometimes give it a shot. This Walmart is by far the worst one I've ever encountered. Most cashiers are nice, but obviously over worked and unhappy. The management team is not only unfriendly but down right mean when confronted. On two occasions I was hung up on and on another I was told to back off when asking why they didn't have more registers open. It's unpleasant and miserable to go to this store. I wish this weren't the case being that it's the only one here in kyle, but I will do my best not to ever go here again. read more

Do NOT get your car serviced here for any kind of service even an oil change. The staff who work in the tire & lube area are shady as hell. They lie about a lot things and give you the runaround. Avoid this place like the plague! read more

Got here at 7:30 and it's 8:45 car is still not done I was told 30 min to a hr and the mechanics are working on 3 cars at a time taking the process that much longer never coming back should of gone to jiffy lube I always do my fault read more

Went to pick up our online order at the Kyle Walmart and they were super fast and efficient. From Customer Service who sped up the process and Thanks to Zack who works at pick up for even faster service and all his help. Great job! I will order from Walmart online again. One of the worst Walmarts I have been in. Drive on down to New Braunfels if you need to go to Walmart. It is far better. This Walmart has very limited selection and very poor customer service. The Walmart in New Braunfels is actually nice. read more

Where is the zero star option??? Unbelievable delay waiting for preordered groceries at Walmart in Kyle, Texas. I had a time slot between 2 and 3 p.m. today. Arrived at 2:23 p.m. and waited and waited and waited some more. Saw what I thought was my groceries be put into someone else's car. When I mentioned to one of the associated that I had been there an hour, she responded, "I know". The associate then quickly walked off. Well, it certainly felt like an hour. While still waiting, I called and asked for the store manager at 3:18 p.m. Sherry, an assistance manager got on the phone and by then it had been an hour. I explain it had been an hour and she assured me the assistance manager Mike would be out shortly with my groceries. Nine minutes later, I called again and got a hold of Sherry. I continued to explain that I still didn't have my groceries and was leaving. She mentioned they were getting me a gift card. I didn't ask for a gift card. I asked to get my groceries. It wasn't until I call yet again that I was then give to a team lead Jeremiah and he explained that my groceries were missing and that they were going back into the store to gather them again. You can image I wasn't surprised. That just confirmed what I had already thought. My groceries was likely put into someone else's car while I stand there waiting for my groceries. Apparently Mike, the assistance manager over the area was all too busy to ever take my call. Walmart seems to have an aversion to Campbell's Tomato Juice, it is rarely on the shelves in Walmart stores.

Terrible experience they couldn't complete a simple battery test without screwing that up. I will not go back.

The Kyle Walmart has many good employees. However, they continue to suffer due to bad leadership and customer service. On numerous occasions there has been a lack of personnel to assist and check out customers in departments and checkouts in the automotive and seasonal sections. Today, I and other customers waited over 30 minutes to get hunting/fishing licenses in the Sporting Good section. There were six employees that came to help us in this section but no one knew how to process and ring up our orders. FINALLY, a sweet lady named Terry came and helped us...ALTHOUGH THIS WAS NOT HER SECTION AND SHE HAD NOT BEEN TRAINED IN THAT SECTION. Thank you Terry, you know the meaning of Customer Service. In closing, one employee in the adjacent automotive section just kept straightening bottles of oil every time I walked over and ask for assistance. Another employee from seasonal even came by and told the waiting customers and me..."this isn't my section, I can't help you, I have my own section to take care of". Oh, and as I left through the seasonal area this seasonal section employee was telling another employee and the lady that harasses people as they leave the store about not being able to assist the customers in Sporting Goods. Three employees that could have been helping customers. Anyway, when shopping avoid the Kyle Walmart when possible. read more

This Walmart makes hot food ready to go there got a lot of different options that you can buy like fried chicken chicken strips etc the reason I'm writing this review is because I ordered fried chicken and the cook made me some fresh fried chicken just for me and the fried chicken was so good when I got home that everybody finished it it was hot and ready and it didn't take very long the staff was so friendly and I really loved how this Walmart is located perfectly in Kyle right next to the rest of my favorite restaurants I love this Walmart and I used to have to drive to Buda but now I can just go to Kyle and I hope to get more great fried chicken from this place. five stars because I can't put six stars. keep frying the great fried chicken. read more

It's Walmart. Fairly new, so the carts aren't all jacked up yet. Most of the staff is friendly and will acknowledge your presence. Like most other places, the stocking and facing crew is incompetent. Things are placed in the wrong slot quite frequently. Checkout folks don't know how to properly fill reusable bags. read more

Went for a few things. The cashier, a young lady called Kiera didn't even look at me. I tried to have a little conversation and she ignored me the whole time. Gave her cash to pay for my items and she gave back my change all crumbled up. So rude!! Great value??? read more

do NOT go into this store. Management is Racist and believes that treating persons with disabilities is the right way to handle any customer. Employees find it more enjoyable to lean against the wall, text/ play games on personal cell phones, discuss the upcoming weekends events- all rather than assist any customers needs. If you do happen to get assistance as I did tonight, actually from the Manager on Duty, G... he was the rudest person ever. Huffed and puffed when he was going to help me, threw my items/ dropped them into a shopping card and when I informed him that I needed assistance loading he walked away. read more

Do not go to the Subway restaurant inside this Walmart. The management is terrible, ran by some high school college age kids. My boyfriend and I eat at subway many times a week and this was the worst location yet. There we no tables clean to sit at. The floor was gross. Our sandwiches had stale, burnt bread. The container for sweet tea was unsweet with the sweetener sitting right next to it. And the staff was very slow. I was very disappointed yet didn't bother to complain cause i just told myself i wouldn't go to that one again since the one across the road was much better. read more

Do NOT get your car serviced here. I got my oil changed which should have come with vacuuming and a fill on my tires. Neither were done. My boyfriend went the next day. Oil was changed and they claimed they would check his tires and patch anything that needed attending to. The alert on his truck never went away with the Low Tire Pressure message. We came back and saw a screw in the tire. They made us wait two hours to be seen. Then came over and said it would be another hour. We left to come back first thing in the morning. We went back, and they've said it will be two hours. We were the first customers. Absolutely abysmal customer service as well. Some "manager" had an enormous attitude with us yesterday. I can't believe a company could be so terrible. read more

Check the expiration dates on all food you buy there. I have found several things that outdated 6 months ago ( broth). Have told an employee 2 months ago and the stuff is still on the shelf. Hope nobody gets sick. read more

We went to this Wal-Mart for Black Friday on Thanksgiving Day. This is a family tradition so we were looking forward to checking out the sales and getting in line for the TV's we wanted this year. We have done this for the last 20+ years so we know exactly how it works each year. Well this year it did not work at all. This is a new Wal-Mart so maybe some of the things that happened can be attributed to being new but the list of things that were wrong is just too long. From the time we got to Wal-Mart the issues started. When we ask where the line was for the TV we wanted we were told "oh were not doing lines this year"! Seriously? We could not find the balloon with our TV listed so we ask several employees who sent us to 6 different locations. We ask at the Info booth only to be told that they did not have the TVs we wanted. We tracked down a manager who told us he would look into it so we stayed where we were until her came back and he sent us to the garden center to stand in line. For three hours we over heard managers on the warlike talkie saying that there were no TV's, only 2 of that brand, only 24 of the brand, that they did not have the wrist bands, that there would not be wrist bands, that maybe they might have to print off forms so we could pay for TV and pick it up outside, in the rain. Because of all the confusion with all the staff we could not leave the line to get in other lines for other sales nor could we get to the palettes in the center isles before the products were all gone. Our TV print outs did not get done until almost 6:30 so everything else was gone. We could tell that that there were a lot of staff there that were holiday staff so they definitely did not know what was going on but that also included the full time staff. Every full time person told us they did not know what was going on, no one told them, they knew nothing about the balloons, etc. This was the biggest mess we have ever seen. Some of the people we talked to were Cliff, Sidney, Ann Marie, Kristina, and on and on. They lost a lot of revenue that night because of the untrained staff. read more

Ordered a bike on line at 5:30 pm got an email saying it will be ready today after 9:30 pm, get to the store and the bitch that was working the so call pick up center (trash and returned all around it) said " can't get the bike because we didn't get the email saying it was ready" they had the bike on the sales floor but they wouldn't get it for us...... canceled the order and never aging.... On my way out Employee wanted to check my bag and he was extremely RUDE & accused me of stealing. I'd much rather leave negative stars here. Do not take your car to the Kyle Walmart auto center. Yesterday, we took 4 off-road tires in to have the rims switched and have them balanced. When the sales associate wrote up the ticket, she actually told my husband that the numbers on the scan labels probably wouldn't match the sales ticket, but that was okay. Just tell them you dropped off the 4 tires. What?? And when we asked about how long it would take, she said 15 minutes. So we decided to run other errands. I'm really glad we got all the other errands taken care of. Two hours later, we came back to Walmart and no one can find the paperwork. The manager, Richard, asked the sales associate (not my husband or myself) what was up. She told him but his response was to shrug and walk away. The sales associate finally located the paperwork with my husband's phone number but nothing has been done. Again, we were told it would be fifteen minutes. Another hour later (now it's been three hours and it's 6:30 p.m.), the mechanic comes out to say that he can't balance the tires. First, he said they were too big. My husband informed him that this store sells those tires. Then he tells my husband that since they are off-road tires, they don't need to be balanced. My husband told him they need to be balanced in order to drive to the off-road location. We're met with a blank stare. Then the mechanic says the machine wouldn't balance them. (We learned later from someone who had worked in a Walmart auto center that the machine will indeed balance these tires on off-road rims). And the manager, RICHARD, is in the garage telling the mechanic to hurry & close it up. He wasn't talking about the garage, he was talking about our ticket. The auto center is open until 8:00 p.m. & this was at 6:30 p.m. At least we were not charged for the balancing we did not get. But now we have to take the tires somewhere else to get them balanced & we'll have to pay more for it. During this entire visit, the only person who apologized for anything was the young man who rang the ticket up. Apparently we were just a big pain in the ass to the manager, Richard. If he had just acknowledged our inconvenience or our frustration, we would not have gone to the front of the store to complain & this would be a far different review. The customer service manager, Adrian, listened & acknowledged what had happened. He scribbled some notes & said he would give the manager my husband's phone number. I'm not holding my breath waiting for a call back but I AM going to fill out the Walmart survey this time with this same story. I realize that I am basically a flea on an elephant's ass here, but retail employees should remember that people like me make provide their salaries. And I can always take my business somewhere else, and now I will. read more
