I noticed that this Walmart has a low rating here on Yelp, but I truly like this Walmart. I have an option to shop at the local HEB and any other two Walmarts near by, but choose to go here. This Walmart is organized and has a good flow. Even when they are extremely busy, it doesn't take a long time to check out. I actually stop going to the HEB in Kyle and shop this Walmart instead unless because of HEB chaos and longer than neccessary time to check out compared to this Walmart. Each time that I went in there, the staff has been wonderful. Especially during the holidays. My husband is deployed and I was really down. I went into this Walmart Christmas eve and the spirit of the place and the workers really made me feel good. A worker name Ron is amazing. He's always working and just seems really proud and happy to be there. Seeing that makes a difference. The bad thing is that you have to wait awhile to get cosmetics. So don't be in a hurry if you want makeup . In all, I think people have unfairly judged this place and its wonderful employees.

Another customer harassed me at the checkout. She walked over to my checkout screen to look at the amount I was paying. She stood where I was supposed to stand to pay the entire time. Then when I'm finishing loading things into my cart she stood right next to my cart. Her waist was two inches away from my cart handle bar. I had to ask her to move and she acted shocked. I told her she had been rude the whole time, and she acted like nothing happened. I have a chronic physical disability and have ptsd from people (usually men) harassing me in public. The fact that the manager blew me off and that I had to cry in my car feeling like I don't matter after being a long time customer of this store. I should be able to shop without being harassed. I don't harass other people when I shop, so I expect the same towards me. Jacob, one of the managers, made me feel like I was silly and didn't matter. I'm not gonna shop at Walmart ever again. I'm joining the boycott. I'm just gonna buy stuff online from others stores, not Walmart. I don't think it's ridiculous to ask to be safe while I shop. Last time I ever set foot in ANY Walmart. If you're disabled, they don't give a flying hockey stick about you, but they sure like your money.

Oh my god the list goes on and on as to why it's the worst shopping experience in the area. One. Jesus Christ- the amount of screaming children in that place. It's impossible to walk in the doors and not hear a meltdown at one or more places in the store. Two. The makeup and skin care are locked up and it takes 20 minutes to get an employee to open them up for you. Three. Scanning and bagging your own shit and not getting a discount for the work you put in, is absolute BS. There's maybe one checker actually working and the rest just stand there and awkwardly stare at you while you do their job. Likely laughing on the inside because they're paid to literally do nothing but watch their customers work for them. Four. Their produce! It's literally always a day away from molding/rotting. It's disgusting. Every time I get home with produce it rots pretty much within 24 hours. Well, besides the avocados because they're never even close to ripe and hard as a rock. Five. It stinks like rotten onions/pineapples very often. It's foul. Six. I bought blueberry muffins for my blind son there that were supposed to be "fresh" and according to the expiration date, they were. The next morning, I went to give him one and thank goodness I was paying close attention as you have to after buying ANYTHING perishable from there, because the top of the muffin that I thought was the whitish crumble/streusel stuff was actually patches of freaking mold. Disgusting. Seven. On the weekend, it's next to impossible to walk through the parking lot or in the front door without being badgered to donate money to an organization or to whoever's car conveniently ran out of gas. Eight. The self checkouts are ALWAYS wonky. Always need approval for the dumbest things like garlic. The belts on the ones that have them conveniently stop working too. Nothing better than having to scan, bag, deal with constantly needing approval, and then having to manually keep sliding your groceries down the belt. Nine: There are always bits of bone shards in their ground beef/pork mixture. Literally ALWAYS. Agh it's infuriating! There's pretty much nothing convenient or pleasant about using this store. I'm sure I have at least 3 more reasons but I can't think of them at the moment. Just go to HEB and don't waste your money on rotting produce.

Honestly there should be a zero stars option specifically made for this Walmart in particular. Not only does it have a subway instead of McDonald's(ew) the managers will 17 year olds. Tried returning Pokémon cards, they were manufactured with 3 packs supposed to come with 4. Wouldn't let me return them, I have the receipt Quite clearly the package wasn't messed with. They just have a no return policy on there most hot commodities cause Walmart is a POS. How about put a sign up saying non refundable? I asked the 17 year old manager this question and he said we can't they won't let us. Who is us? Your the manager. Anyways zero stars go to HEB instead

I received 3 brown packs that were extremely hot and looked like they had been cooked! I spoke w/ Mikayla, Alex, Paublo and Mike.

Walmart seems to have an aversion to Campbell's Tomato Juice, it is rarely on the shelves in Walmart stores.

We were constantly…read moreshort-staffed, and I kept getting scheduled way past my availability even though I was a full-time college student at the time. The management just wasn't good (the manager I dealt with doesn't work there anymore, but I have been told that the new one isn't any better), and I was talked down on quite a bit. It came to a point where I realized they just had no respect for my time or for me as an individual, so I left. If you're thinking about applying, I recommend reconsidering your options. I will give this place some credit, however. There were a few people on the staff that I actually got really close to. As much as I hated the management, I know that the staff here for the most part are really good people and are doing their best despite lacking in workers. I have some serious respect for them.

Our first experience using the lab area at Walgreens was, unfortunately, very disappointing…read more When we checked in, only two people were waiting. Then more people came in and more and more. We watched person after person use the check-in machine and get called back before us while we continued waiting patiently for about 45 minutes. At that point, we spoke directly with the tech and explained that we were there for a urinalysis and really needed to go because, well, kidneys don't exactly wait politely. She told us she would get us in after the patient she was currently seeing, so we trusted her word and stayed. Then that patient left, and instead of calling us back, she called someone else. She then told us, "I know I told you that you could come in after that patient, but this other person has an appointment, so all appointments have to go first." The issue isn't just the wait time. The issue is communication and keeping your word. We did not know appointments were required or strongly preferred because nobody explained that to us when we checked in. Had we known that from the beginning, we could have made a different decision instead of sitting there for nearly an hour believing we were next. I understand businesses have policies and schedules, but clear communication matters. Trust matters. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling dismissed, and because of that, I personally will not return or recommend this location unless someone already has an appointment scheduled ahead of time.

Missing even one dose can be life-threatening. Due to a storm, the Walgreens location where her prescription was ready was closed, but another nearby Walgreens location was open. I called to ask--very politely--if it would be possible to access her medication at that store so she would not miss a dose. The employee who answered the phone, named Arlene, was shockingly rude and dismissive. After briefly explaining she would have to contact the other pharmacis, she rudely stated, "I don't get paid enough for this," and then hung up on me. This was not a minor inconvenience or a casual question. This involved a child's life-saving medication. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and concern for patient safety was alarming. I was left extremely distressed and shaken by the interaction. I understand that pharmacies can be busy and that policies exist, but no parent advocating for their medically fragile child should ever be treated this way--especially by someone working in a healthcare setting. I hope Walgreens takes this seriously and ensures better training and accountability. No family should have to experience this while trying to protect their child's health. One place that will always dominate any neighborhood besides that other depressing behemoth store…read moreis Target. A huge sprawling parking lot with enough space under one roof to get in a mile of walking, if one were so compelled. This brings me to Target in Kyle Tx. Located in a safe part of town this place will have, most of what you want, but it's not a Super Target so not much in the way of food. Another point, the people walking around are few and far between but nice. The one issue I have with Target in general is they have a drab interior much like their rival. As for food, the selection is extremely limited. Barely half an isle for fresh produce, select meats and a few other selections. As for refrigerated items again the selection is limited with a few items available as needed. Finally the dry, snack and non-perishable items selection is much better but still not what you'll find at a larger store. I find I only shop here for food only when absolutely necessary. As for the kids section, they're limited in toys as I tried to purchase some items for my kids but they only have the absolute most popular items. So, if you want that GI Joe action figure, you won't find it here, or at least anything new. As for electronics, they have most of the newest gaming consoles, games and controllers however 4k media is gone, but that's a standard among all stores now as physical media continues to be replaced by inferior forms of content like streaming. Most items like pet food and accessories are in abundance, hardware and housing goods have most of what someone needs and the kitchen section has a lot of average equipment to great stuff depending on what you need. For example, the knife selection is horrible but mixers are just as good as anywhere else. I do all of my vitamin and specialty medicine (not prescription) from Target as it's the cheapest. Overall, Target is exactly what you expect anywhere and that's by design. The only real differences are subtle things that regionally might sell better at one place then another state won't offer a product as it won't make sense. Think of a heavy winter coat for sale in Texas - it isn't needed. Finally, Target is bringing back the cashier so the wait times may vary. Other than those items, it's Target you know what you want.

Some very clean bathrooms for a grocery store, but that is the end of the positives…read more Empty shelves, a decided lack of signage/pricing, and items on the floor throughout the store all make it a negative experience. It looks like a severe lack of staffing is what make this happen. 1 register open, stocking half complete with mostly empty u-boats on the floor. Sigh.
