The chips section is interesting too, with unique flavors. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. They also have a large selection of fresh meat, including halal options. Finally, there's a place like this nearby! I'm so happy we now have this store in South Austin because I always had to go all the way downtown before. I'm now a regular customer--I love the variety they offer. One small downside is that since they're still stocking the shelves and the store seems newly opened, not all items have price tags. But the staff is always ready to help when you ask about prices.

There was even a hint of gooieness that you want from a cinnamon roll. For a dollar and some change it's a great size! As I noticed other people gathering around the hot food line, I couldn't help but decide on getting a plate. I picked up the ranchero bisteak and chicken Tinga and for my two sides, I decided on the plantains and nopales. Both of the meats I decided on were extremely delicious in flavor and the beef was exceptionally tender. I got red and green salsa and it appears that the red salsa is a tad bit creamy, which is not something I've had many times before. It was unique and extremely tasty. As for the green salsa, I have yet to try, but I am sure it won't disappoint. I do want to give this place praise because I have passed it up before, but it is not a place to be looked over. There's so many other goodies in here that you won't find at a regular grocery store so it's definitely worth coming inside and checking out especially if you just want something to do. The people were so nice exceptional customer service. There is seating if you want to eat inside and they were playing good music. I almost forgot to mention how exceptional the sides were. Often times people mess up nopales, but these were delicious.
