I hate Wal Mart and Sam's Club, but unfortunately those are the stores we have here in town and have to shop at them with our limited options Each time I've gone into either Wal Mart location, it is always horrible. Shelves have scattered and messy or have no inventory, employees stand around watching customers self-check out, and the employees who are checking out seem to have the lowest IQ. Where do these people come from?! One lady checking out my groceries had dyed purple hands and looked to obviously be using drugs. Another lady did not acknowledge myself or anyone on her line and continued talking to her co-worker about how poor moral is, how awful the managers are, and how much they hated working. I refuse to use self checkout while employees stand around. However, each checker line I have gone through doesn't even know how to bag groceries. It's a scary world when you see the lack of basic skills and how poorly the nonexistent customer service and quality of help is. read more

A negative 5 stars would be more accurate they don't even deserve a star!!! I don't know what's worse the constant following you so close that you can't breathe and look at anything they think we are all stupid and we don't know they are watching us!!! Or them treating my disabled husband like a thief all because he has health issues and it causes him to need to use the bathroom more than once!!! And most of all them walking by my phone because I am texting my husband to check on him to see if he is okay and them trying to see what I say on text !!!! It's my phone, I pay for it so it's my business not theirs and we tried to talk to the manager and he said we were exaggerating, and that the employees don't do that and he refused to check the cameras and told us we were being ridiculous!!!! So that whole situation made my husband's existing health issues so much worse and we weren't able to get all our groceries so no we will have to use extra gas to get the rest of our groceries!!!! I know I will see the automatic computer generated response that says sorry about your experience or whatever it says just more lies and no care about their customers !!!! Why bother to respond since they don't really care anyway and that lack of caring goes all the way up to management apparently!!!!! I don't believe any of these 5 star reviews they are all lies anyway !!! Not every customer that goes to your store is a theif and you need to learn that fact and start showing all customers respect including the ones disabled like my husband and that some of us have health issues and aren't able to work!!!! read more

Normally I hear Walmart being called HoodMart, Wally's World even GhettoMart. This store was unbelievable! It was clean, stocked and friendly employees that seemed to enjoy their jobs and assisting customers. Which is a rarity, in my opinion, for most Walmart employees I was looking for something in crafts, an employee (no name tag) asked if I needed help and literally walks and chats with me to the item I was looking for. Jason our cashier was polite and funny. He joked around and even smiled. This should be a training store for all the states! Two thumbs up for the management team. read more

I bought a tv that had clearly been returned and broken before. I didn't realize this until I got home and opened it. I went back to return it within the hour only to find that the serial numbers did not match up. Whoever returned the tv before obviously didn't return the correct tv and the worker obviously didn't quality check the tv before putting it back on the shelf. Instead of trying to work with me to resolve the issue the customer service people turned me away very rudely. So now I've gotta eat the $300 I spent on it. The other Walmart on 10th was very sympathetic and told me some of my options to try to get my money back. read more

If you need a Walmart for ANYTHING in Great Falls MT. DO NOT go to the store at 5320 10th Ave S. ESPECIALLY if you are disabled. This particular store is ALWAYS out of stock on everyday items AND mobility carts. I've already done a couple of surveys, last one was a month ago. I did receive a call from the store a couple of weeks ago and was told they were working on changing things. Went back to this store today for just potatoes and whipping cream and butter. Once again there were no carts(was told by an associate that they only have 3 working) AND there were no potatoes! I called Bentonville Arkansas (corporate headquarters) and asked what good are surveys if they don't end in positive results? I'm disabled, I live 500ft from this store what good is that if they're ALWAYS out of the things you need the most and don't care enough about the disabled to fix the mobility carts in back ( my husband offered to fix them for free) . Walmart may be a little cheaper but if you can't get what you need then go to Super 1 if you're on this end of town. Otherwise go to the Smelter location, that one is pretty well stocked and I've NEVER not had availability of a mobility cart. read more

The Walmart in Great Falls (701 Smelter Ave NE, Great Falls, MT 59404) don't know the difference between oil drain plug and transmission drain plug. Got an oil change at this Walmart a week ago. When I picked it up I immediately noticed my transmission slipping. Today I checked the transmission fluid and noticed it was empty. The transmission fluid dipstick was dry. I checked my oil as well and it was over the full line. brought it a local Auto Zone and they said they've seen this happen with oil changes at Walmart. Instead of changing the oil, they drained my transmission fluid and over filled my oil. I don't think they know the difference between oil drain plug and transmission drain plug. I'm just glad I noticed it now instead of after my car breaks down. It just cost me an additional $25 for the transmission fluid/funnel, and $45 for another oil change. Never going to use it again. read more

So I was going through a rough patch and went in to buy an iPad and some accessories to go with yesterday evening. I was trying not to cry the whole time because of the stuff I had going on. Tired of going in multiple times in a month and always having one or two items on my list I can't get because they still haven't stalked it or they put in 1% effort to help me find it. Tonight was one of multiple times I asked an employee where something was with no success. She asked their search app on her phone and when it wouldn't load the item she just blamed her device as not being able to find it and walked off to help another guy that had interrupted us. So RUDE. This is why store fronts are closing and everyone shops online because these low end department stores are full of lazy f**** for employees. read more

I stopped and had various items totaling 72 dollars. Prior to that I picked up a $10 cosmetic and asked if I could have all my items rang up there or take the item up to check out. I went to self check out and no one showed up with item as they indicated. I did not want to go through two check outs as the lines are large to go to a cashier check out, rather then put up a indignity of a compact being held by a non appearing. staff person, I will go to Walgreens for all cosmetics and hair supplies which is considerable with three granddaughters! Just stopped in the computer section looking for an HDMI splitter to install dual monitors on my laptop. I was trying to use the electric wheelchair cart and was asking the sales girl for help. The cart would not move, the girl told me to go to K7 to look for the splitter and then walked away! She did not help at all despite my obvious recent knee surgery and inquiry for information. What a joke! im sure this is a rhetorical question, but doesn't Walmart make ANY effort to train employees to provide customer service!! You should be ashamed Walmart! How do you manage it??? I think I found the worst customer service ever. Had a flat tire while traveling to Great Falls. It was a Sunday so not too many options open Went to Walmart tire center. Was ignored by everyone in auto center so, went inside. Finally asked someone where could I get help with a flat tire. Directed me to go back outside and talk to Frank. Was ignored again for another ten minutes. Finally Frank asked what we needed. Some dick behind him named Mike jumped in and asked if we had an appointment. Told him no, he said they can't help with out an appointment. Pretty much told me he wasn't interested in helping me. So, I said I would try somewhere else. Frank tried to be helpful and see when he could fix it but Mike told him not to help. Wouldn't recommend that place to anyone They need to lose Mike read more

So I usually walk to Walmart after I get off work to redeem my coins at the closest coinstar. So I tell the lady I want to redeem my voucher and she tells me she can't do it, only customer service can. So she tries anyway after taking twenty minutes to bag a twelve item order and asks me for cash. I gave her the cash and asked to redeem my voucher. Take in mind I've worked at Albertsons before, I know cashiers can redeem them. So the machine says "call supervisor" and instead of doing so she tells me it has already been redeemed. So apparently my voucher was redeemed twenty minutes earlier even though it had never left my hand. She refuses to cash it, so I hand it over and tell her to keep it and buy whatever drugs she has been smoking. On another note the actual layout of the store is messy and looks like something you'd see out of "hoarders". The staff are very lazy, ignorant, and could care less about you or your items. The managers will do anything to treat you lower than their employees, but won't hesitate to tell you they are trying their best. Their staff curse at children in the toy section, and redirect them out of the store. Floor presentation: Frequently you will find produce from the shelves on the floor, which by the way has not been mopped for two weeks. The produce section will pick it up, and sell it to whoever they can. Electronics is under stocked, and they do their best to hide the "third party" retails gift cards as an attempt to save money. If I could complain and hope for better results next time, I would. However, the employees could care less about us "Sheep" to make their "$10 an hour". Don't waste your time at Walmart. read more

This is just your typical Walmart Super Center.....not sure why most the shelves on the food side were pretty much empty tho. I think Walmart should change their speedy checkout tho from 20 items or less to like 10. They should also tell customers that they're not allowed to take a whole cart full of stuff in the speedy checkout lines n then start dividing them up so they have 20 items or less but for 3 separate bills. They had 3 lanes open and we had to wait for 45 minutes to check out !! I felt bad for the cashiers as they were getting the rage of all the customers . Corporate Walmart needs to get their shit together! Why have 20 checkout lanes when you never use them . The customer service is something to be desired and has left a bad taste in my mouth. This past December I got my first warning bells about how they ran the layaway/pickup dept. My sister ordered a tv, had a confirmation number and even talked an associate AT THE STORE that her tv had arrived. We traveled to the Walmart which is 2 hours away to pick up the tv and do a little shopping. We spent almost 3 hours in the Walmart layaway dept. because they were unwilling to look for the tv because it was not in the "computer". My sister showed them the confirmation of arrival and yet they still stood at the counter proclaiming that they didn't have the tv. We argued with the associate until a lady shows up from the back saying she will actually "look" for the TV. She comes back saying that it was in the back the whole time but no one had bothered to scan it into the computer. Now let me remind you that it had arrived on a Monday and it was now Saturday that we were picking it up. How could they be so lazy to check it in?. Okay so here recently I ordered two twin size beds from the Walmart website and they were to be shipped Site to Store. I got an email about the items saying they were delayed and didn't know when they would arrive. I immediately checked the tracking number and they arrived to the store last Friday and were confirmed. I called today( Tuesday) to confirm my order so I can pick them up(mind you this Walmart is 2 hours away). The first person I talked to was from electronics and he couldn't confirm they were actually in the store and said to call back. So I checked my email to make sure I didn't receive anything else and I called customer service. I got a great guy named rob who helped me confirm that yes they had arrived at the store and were even checked in. So I called back to the great falls Walmart to talk to the layaway dept. They still stood by the story that they didn't know where the order was and maybe it hadn't arrived?. I told them that headquarters had confirmed they arrived because it was signed in to the store. They still couldn't confirm to me that they had the two twin beds and when I asked if they could look? they said "well it's not in the computer then I don't know". So I had to call back customer service where I confirmed with them that great falls Walmart had lost my order or they weren't willing to check it in. Customer service was able to handle my order where they just shipped the items to my house instead of me having to go 2 hours away for an order that "might or might not be there". I seriously think they are just lazy at the job they have so if you ever order site to store DO NOT SHIP TO THIS STORE. They are more than unwilling to help you with your order or even tell you where it is. Call customer service for walmart they will be more helpful than this store. read more

I would no stars of I could. Went to Wal-Mart on Smelter . I waited for 25 min. to get fabric cut. I asked 5 people to get me help. A worker just coming in went and checked in , was back in a second, and then cut my fabric cut my 3 yards of fabric. My 8 year old was going to make her Grandfather a pillow and lap blanket. We wait in line at the cash register for ever. We get to the cash register, and the clerk puts in the code comes up with $9.77 a yd. on the one yard of fabric. The lady at fabrics had written on the slip $2.00. She then proceds to put the code in for the 2 yards and cannot find anything. She does not know what to do. Tried this a few times, manager comes by, she asked him to help, he says"I can't right now. Goes to another cash register, does something and then stands there and talks. His name is Todd. Then a worker says she will go back and check the price. The cashier says that she wants to check the next customer out because of the line. The costumer behind me has a lot of items. We are now 45min. into 3yards of fabric. We have an appointment and can not wait any longer. I have a little girl who is heartbroken and am out of a lot of time. But who cares about the little man, not Walmart. read more

Great Falls Walmart...Home of the empty shelves. They never have their shelves stocked and when you ask about it they always have a "good" excuse. Don't ask to talk to the "invisible" manager Lance as he has more important things to do than provide customer service. Even his employees are disgruntled and will talk about it. They say they are instructed not to "over-order" and it they run out, so be it. And watch out for their pharmacy as they can't count as the pills ALWAYS come up short.
