I normally buy my 5 gallon bottles of water over at Sams Club. Today I ran short so stopped by the 10th Avenue Albertson's store to pick up an extra. I turned in my empty and purchased a bottle along with some groceries. When I arrived home I discovered that I was charged $10 for the water. Assuming that the checker missed crediting me for the return container I called the assistant manager and was told that the $10 charge was with a empty return. If I had not returned an empty bottle they apparently would have charged me even more money for the water!!! Sam's Club charges $4.50 for the same bottle of water and will add around $5 if you don't return an empty. Big difference eh? Another Albertson's ripoff!!! read more

Yesterday, as I was going into Albertsons, on 10th I had a little bit of a health emergency, shortness of breath, and they called EMT for me. I just wanna say the women at the helpdesk, Annette and Leticia. They are amazing. They helped calm me down. Annette had her hand on my shoulder, which helped a lot with anxiety, and I want to say that Albertsons is extremely lucky to have two people who care so much about others. They went above and beyond they gave me water and they gave me something to eat cause I couldn't eat for a while so I hope you recognize these two women as incredible workers with great work ethics! I have shopped at Albertson's since we moved back to Great Falls eight years ago. I loved their customer service, their products and the fact that they were a union grocery store. So disappointed that they have added a large number of self-checkout registers. I might as well go to Walmart. If there are any union stores left, which do NOT promote the customer's stealing jobs by doing their own cashiering, I will be shopping there. Really Albertsons? I am sad. read more

Kate T from Albertsons on Tenth avenue south should be given a raise, Mr. Manager {Lonnie, I believe}. Your computerized checkout system is a big mess... to put it politely. However, Kate to the rescue. Not just once, but 13 times, in checking out with a checkout system that is not user friendly... and yes, I've used many self checkouts--this one is by far, the worst one I have ever encountered. Kate was kind, patient, and encouraging when it 'balked' at {nearly} every item I scanned. THANK YOU KATE!! You truly do deserve recognition, and a raise for working in such a challenging and poorly designed system. Hope you change it Albertsons, but hire more people like Kate. She's a gem. read more

For me it is the best grocery store in Great Falls. You can find almost all what you need. There is also a Starbucks inside, so if you wanna take break and enjoy a cup of coffee you can do it there. I have never had a problem with products. But I recommend you always check the expiration date. The staff is always friendly. I have tried a fried chicken , potatoes and sushi. It was good, not perfect but still okey. Bakery is amazing. The bread and croissants are perfect !)) read more

Normally I'd rate this Albertson's pretty high, but yesterday (23 Dec) I was extremely disappointed in this guy in the meat department. He was not hiding the fact he was unhappy to be there nor his obvious disgust with customer and questions one little bit. I watched as he was short and condescending with one person after another. When it was our turn and we told him we had ordered a prime rib, his immediate response was with "name... we have over 20 orders back there". Now had he waited we would have given a name... hell, I'd have preferred a simple "name!" to the condescending passive aggressive BS he was spewing. I felt like I was in line on that episode of Seinfeld with the Soup Nazi!I'm sure you would have rather been at home or out doing some last minute shopping with your family like I was, but you had to work serving customers in the profession YOU chose. my wife and i went their to do a gender reveal cake for our 1st baby!! they completely messed up the cake! we told them top of the cake to be something baby themed and to not put what the gender is on the top!! also the outside cake to be just plain white!! guess what the did! they put what the gender was on the top of the cake and the whole outer was the color the color of the gender which we specifically told them not to do!! we specifically told them we wanted the inside color of the cake to be either blue or pink also! the inside of the cake was plain chocolate no color!! that cake decorator is so retarded she cant read fucking directions it completely ruined our gender reveal!! on top of all that they lost our envelope saying what it was!!! if i could givr this place or the bakery section negative stars i would!! fuck this place and the cake decorator!!! read more

I came in here recently with my little brother, I am in my late twenties and he is a teenager. I had a box of corona and a bottle of wine which I am most definitely of age to buy. She asked us both for our I.D. Now my brother is not the one buying, so he does not need to show his I.D. Was buying 2 items and had my one year old with me. I went to type in my number and the screen disappeared. I asked the cashier to bring it back so I could get points toward rewards. She then proceeded to me "no you were too slow, I already hit total and I can't go back. Next time don't say hi to me or ask how I'm doing. Just put your number in. This is your fault and you should know this because we do our job fast here and you are too slow."The manager came over and also told me I was too slow and it's my own fault and both refused to give me my points.
