Absolutely horrendous I paid $520 for a new mower one month ago. It is now going into the shop for a seventh time in a month. Ace will not stand by their product and when my wife tried talking to them the manager laughed at her and said I don't know what to tell you. Sincerely never ever gonna shop there again. Have used this store successfully for several years. Today I was treated like a common thief by one of the floor personnel. Accosted me over a simple sink strainer I had in a sack with the used one which I was replacing. Needless to say I did not finish picking up all the items I was there for. Selection and customer service. Filters were on sale, buy two get one free. They only had two so ask the cashier if they had some in the back she said no without even checking. Asked if they'd honor the free one and she said no they wouldn't. Sale sign didn't specify while supplies last. Ace should take care of customers that support their business in a more professional manner. read more

It doesn't matter which ACE hardware we go to, we are always offered help. When we need help the staff is always knowledgeable.

If your looking for something no one else has go to Ace. They usually have it! I needed a three way switch for an rv roof fan and neither rv place in town had it. Neither did Napa Auto or O'Reilly's. Outstanding customer service! Home Depot and ProBuild could learn a thing or two!

Have been an Ace shopper for years, the employees are always friendly and helpful, however, not as happy with the manager. I visited the store with a strange request, I wanted to see if they would sell me a small wooden barrel that contains a really good hard candy. They had four stacked on the floor all half full. A very nice and helpful lady called the manager on her radio and was told there not for sale. I made the comment that I'd consider buying all the candy in it if the barrel would come with it, she laughed as well I did. She asked if i would you like to talk to the manager. I said yes. Back to the radio she went and quickly responded he will be down in a minute. I recently spent over $500 on a chainsaw and accessories and realize that its a drop in the bucket for what that store sells daily and by the way the salesman was great as usual. Now my reason for less than 5 stars. I observed a man in an upstairs window grab a cup I assume was coffee sense it was 7:30 AM and turn away when I looked at him. This happened several minutes after the saleswoman asked him to come and speak with me. She said I'm sure he will be right down. I responded with, I don't think he is interested in speaking to me, I'll find a barrel some place else. I thanked her for her time as she was suggesting another store I might find one. I think I'll think twice before I put another drop in the Ace bucket. At this point the only reason I'd return is the friendly and helpful sales people that make a living from every drop in the Ace bucket read more

to get a drillbit and some flowers, Upon getting the drillbit I needed and looking at flowers I decided to set down the drillbit and get the flowers instead because I didn't have enough for both. So i grabbed the flowers and went to checkout and during checkout I had an associate come ask me where I put the drillbit down at so I told them where the flower packets are they go come back say they can't find it. So I took about 4 associates over to the flower packets and show them the drillbit. They all cheer because at this point I know they thought I stole it and then an older associate tells me that its technically shoplifting if I set it down and decided not to buy it not even if i went and put it back where i grabbed it but if I didn't give it directly to an associate that it was still technically shoplifting because they can't sell it? That didn't make any sense I've decided not to buy things in many stores and I'm not treated like a criminal. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and I suggest if you do this while shopping too I'd advise you to do the same or you'll be treated like a criminal. read more
