Worst ever, bought a T V and it went out in six weeks, walmart.com told me to take it to the store, they refused to take it, guy,Justin was very rude and just walled off. Please tell me why I had to go find an employee in a department across the store for help both times I have been to the electronics area? I ordered photos online and three hours afterwards, I decided to head over and pick them up. I get there, finally find someone and ask her if anyone is working in electronics... she straight up walks away from me without saying anything. Okay? I finally find someone coming out of the back room and he heads over with me to photo, only to tell me the machine is down and it will not print anything else today. I ask him to cancel the order then and will take my business elsewhere. The next day, I get an email saying my order is ready to pick up (again) and didn't want to waste their money by not picking it up, so I head over. I go through the exact same process to find a worker the next day. Different guy, a manager, who obviously has no idea how the photo center works as he tried charging me twice as much. I tell the price I was given online and another employee said, "well that's the online price" to which I informed him that it was the in-store price because the online price is even cheaper. Confused on how to ring me up, they call another manager over, who once the men leave, suddenly figures out how to ring me up. Great! She hands me my cards and tells me to have a nice day, and then huffs when I ask her if she could please provide the envelopes that are supposed to come with the cards. FIVE CARDS YALL, that's all I had ordered. She gives them to me and repeats for me to have a nice day. Now, I realize I should have checked my cards then and there but because the experience had already taken long, I had to leave quickly to get back to work. I checked my cards this morning and they haven't even been CUT yet. Now, I don't have fancy photo or graphic design equipment at home, so I have to cut these with scissors and pray they turn out okay. Avoid THIS Walmart!! It is the WORST Walmart I have EVER been to.. The Customer Service Desk is HORRIBLE to deal with.. They love to argue when making a return.. I returned a pair of shorts with a receipt.. They told me that there was a new rule.. Any returns even with a receipt has to be put on a Walmart gift card.. I proceeded to tell the cashier that no, I wanted it back on my card that I had purchased the shorts with.. She then got extremely rude with me and said no I can't do that .. She threw the shorts back in the bag and handed me my receipt back.. I ended up going to a different Walmart and asked their Customer Service cashier if that was true.. She laughed and said that they obviously were trying to be difficult because that was NOT a "new rule".. I told her thank you and was able to get a return with no problem.. One of the better Wal - mart stores in the area. It looks like the best keep getting better the store is looking great after the renovation. The service is great but I try & go either early or late to avoid the crowds. I know that the store prior to renovation was just looking like nothing special and very cookie cutter. I do try and avoid the store during peak hours but really what do you expect from a store that offers low prices and is the size of 10 houses. The store is always well stocked and clean. The place still has that new car smell after this awesome renovation. They almost made me ask if I could spend the night it was just that great. The only thing I'm wondering is when are they going to renovate the Wal - Mart in my hood? Damn, what's a brother got to do to get some fresh paint and some new shelves. I went inside and there was an employee standing at the register. I asked how long it would be for an oil change and he told me 45 minutes. WM in Grapevine, TX is the ABSOLUTE WORST RETAILER EVER! 2/10/19, Sunday 6pm: Most of their store & Deli shelves are sparse & there was not enough help on 1 of the busiest nights of the week! Shelves aren't sparse due to a lack of consumer demand or money funneling into this affluent-area store every minute of every day, rather GROTESQUELY POOR MANAGEMENT & A LACK OF APPRECIATION FOR ITS CUSTOMERS! WM GV, you regularly have great value through competitive prices & a convenient 1-stop-shop, which is ultimately why so many of us local consumers shop in your store; however, it's unfortunate that you continue to snub your Big Box Retailer nose at us by having absolutely no regard for our needs or our experience in your store. The days of Sam Walton's "leadership through service," which WM was built on, is truly long gone & gets worse with each passing day. You've significantly cut back on the number of cashiers who once assisted us & it has become common place to wait in long check-out lines if one doesn't wish to scan/bag their own groceries! You've added more self-checkout registers so customers, in theory... are forced to work for WM for free if we don't want to or can't wait in your long lines. And most importantly, it is further my opinion that you have lowered your standards for conducting business to a level that is so low, that you condone deplorable employee behavior & think nothing of it. WM GV Management, you have falsely concluded that regardless of how you treat your customers, we will return to this store. Well let me assure you of one thing, YOU ARE WRONG! Each of these lines had at least 20 people waiting, most with grocery carts filled to the brim & south self-checkout registers were shut off. We too joined one of the too few cashier-assisted checkout lines. To make matters worse, cashiers turned on their "Management Assistance Lights;" however, no management was to be found! After an agonizing 20min of waiting had passed with little movement, I went to the Cust Svc Desk where I spotted the Cust Svc Mgr. I advised him that we had already been waiting for 20min to checkout & if WM didn't do something to help immediately, most of us would be walking away from our carts and taking our business elsewhere. He just continued as if he didn't have a care in the world. In retrospect, he didn't have a care. It was the 100 or so of us customers waiting to check out who had lots of cares & not good ones! Upon returning to my place in line, which hadn't moved, I could hear many customers complaining about the situation, all of us looking around to see just how long the lines were getting. Growing more disgruntled by the second - frustrated by the fact that my perishable groceries were now at room temperature & of no use to me; frustrated by WM GV Mgmt's total disregard for its customers by thinking it is acceptable to have us wait 25+ minutes to check out; & most importantly, frustrated that all of our time was willfully being wasted - so finally, we left our grocery cart right where it was & walked out! Attention WM Grapevine, YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY RETAILER IN TOWN & YOU WILL BE REPLACED! Regardless of just how competitive your prices are or just how convenient your 1-stop-shop location is, YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST & MY FAMILY WILL NEVER AGAIN STEP FOOT IN YOUR STORE after how we were completely disregarded last Sunday. This place is a bad joke. I ordered tires online from Walmart.com that were delivered to this store and the price of the tires included free installation. They had me park in front of a service stall and took my keys. After waiting over an hour I was told they were refusing to mount my new tires because my car is expensive (Audi A5). I had to try to fit the new tires into my car and pay another tire shop over $100 to mount and balance them. read more

I had a terrible experience and most likely will not be back to the Grapevine Walmart. On 11/17/2021, I went to the Grapevine Walmart to return an online black Friday purchase that I picked up at the Grapevine Walmart. I had the receipt on my phone with the barcode to scan. Ginger stated that the barcode would not scan. She then stated that the system was down and I should either come back or go to another Walmart. I asked how is the system down if you processed a return before me. She stated it was for only black Friday deals. I asked if it was just for this Walmart or was it nationwide. She said she did not know. So you want me to drive to another Walmart and I may encounter the same issue? Or waste gas and keep coming back here? She shrugs her shoulders. Margot the team lead then comes over and says that it has been an ongoing issue for a few days. I ask if it has been reported. She says it has and again I ask is this a grapevine location only issue or nationwide. Margot says she does not know. I ask well what did Corporate tell you. She says she does not know. I ask what are my options as I have my item and my receipt right here. Margot proceeds to walk off without answering. I turn around and say I know you heard me still talking to you. Margot claims she did not hear me talking to her. Nor did you offer any further assistance. I ask to speak with whoever is over her. She claims that their is not a supervisor. I then say well whoever you report to, she then says they have coaches. She tells Ginger to call Melissa and Margot walks off. Ginger calls Melissa and Melissa says she is coming up. After 10 minutes, Ginger calls Melissa again and Melissa does not answer. She calls Margot who also does not answer repeatedly. Another 15 minutes go by. I walk to one of the cashiers and ask who is the manager. She tells me Josh, I ask is Josh on duty and she says yes he is here. I go back to the customer service in which they have been processing other returns in the meantime and ask to call Josh. Ginger claims Josh is at lunch. I tell Ginger well you tell Melissa that I will sit her all day and wait for her since she wants to play. Ginger says well let me try Lynn. About 40 minutes have went by at this point. And Melissa still has not shown up. Ginger calls Lynn. After about 15 more minutes Lynn shows up. Lynn asks Ginger why she does not process it as if I have no receipt in which Ginger responds it will ask for her ID. Lynn says that is fine. They process the return as no receipt and load it on a gift card and gives me the cash from the gift card. During this time that Lynn is helping me, guess who comes out of the office behind the customer service. Melissa. She has been back there the entire time and ignoring the calls. She walks up and does not say a word. Lynn is able to assist me. I wasted over an hour of my day on a simple return and the customer service was horrible. While I was there a few people walked up to me and also told me that had horrible customer service at this location. I filed a complaint on Walmart.com and the response was that they would send to the local manager. It has been a week and I have not received a follow up. read more

I used to grocery shop here exclusively because they had everything else I needed in one stop. No more, because they only have one or two lanes open plus the lines at the self-service lines. If I have a cart load, the self serve is not going to work. Guess they're trying to force everyone to use the grocery pickup. There are usually no knowledge associates, and if they are, they highly lack customer service skills in their automotive department. Today was really awesome experience though... I called ahead of time to check wait time- they said they could get me right in, so I drove down to get my tire repaired and an oil change. After a "what do you need" greeting and I was told they would call me when it was done. I wait 2 hours then called to check status. I was told it was done. Once I arrive they realized they didn't even look at the tire so it would be another 30 minutes or so. Something that should have been fairly quick and easy became a whole afternoon event. There was no apology and I am frustrated with this place! Save yourself some time and go anywhere else! read more

I have been to many Wal-Mart stores all over the country and this is by far the worst run store I've shopped at yet. The store seems to be operated on a perpetual skeleton crew. Shoppers could wander the store for hours without finding a salesperson, and then a few more hours finding a salesperson who actually knows where to find anything. The restrooms at the front of the store are ALWAYS filthy. The stall locks are faulty so hold on to the door, ladies, while doing your business or someone will likely walk in on you. Products are often mislabeled or in the wrong place on the shelves - be aware that Wal-Mart's policy is to give customers the price on the label directly in front of the merchandise so don't let them pull the old "sorry, someone put it in the wrong place" routine. The produce is NEVER ripe. The boxes they're shipped in probably have more taste. The registers are severely limited because they never seem to have enough cashiers. Shoppers end up standing in long lines for very long periods of time. The idiotic self-check outs are nothing but a nuisance and are constantly malfunctioning. Don't bother trying to use self-check outs with any more than two items or you're going to be there awhile. Heaven forbid you have a price, product or other issue, because it could quite possibly take days for a manager to show up to help you. I feel sorry for the "associates" who actually try to be accommodating, but whose hands are tied by incompetent, lazy, uninformed managers. The store manager at this Wal-Mart should be ashamed of the way this store is run. It's disgraceful. I would NOT recommend shopping at this Wal-Mart Supercenter. read more

Just checked out of Walmart. Note to self, never never go to Walmart in Grapevine again!!! The store is dirty. The shelves are half empty. It's a Sunday afternoon and the store is crowded. The lines to check out are extremely long. Our unfriendly cashier was busy flirting and chatting with boyfriend?? who was getting change from her.( but alas she was out of change and had her light flashing for a manager to come and assist her). She never looked at us or told us what was going on. Perhaps he should've stood in line at customer service to get his change. I am giving this 1 star because I am simply fed up with this Walmart. Last night the place was packed with people checking out and only a few lines were open. There were NO express lines open! The self checkout was backed out into the aisles. This is not the first time. Every time we go there, it is an issue. I always regret going, but I have so much time invested that I am committed. Possibly worst experience with a pharmacy and customer service ever. Friday- my doctor sent in a thyroid prescription renewal and the pharmacy had to order my prescription but had the generic brand I could use for the weekend. I called the pharmacy to ask when I could pick it up and they said ANYTIME. Also I updated my insurance info. Sunday: refilled another prescription through the mobile app which said it would be ready same day. Monday: 9:30am went to the pharmacy to pick up my medications and they were not ready..... Tuesday: 1:40pm went back to pharmacy and they were closed.... Once again I was told to come by ANYTIME to pick up..... Went to customer service to see why the pharmacy was closed and they were useless. The first lady actually ignored me and walked away to go on break. I am fairly certain the customer service ppl were heavily medicated and hate life. When I finally got someone's attention then they said "oh they are at lunch"... Like I should know this..... I Called the manager and voiced my complaints and he literally said I'm not a pharmacist and can't help you. 3pm Tuesday ! I finally get to see and speak to the pharmacist!!! Come to find out they did not update my insurance info and we're going to charge me over $300. To top it off, Rebecca , wouldn't double check they inputted my insurance and said "now we're stuck with it since I didn't want to pay the $300." All in all, this place is incompetent, careless, disorganized, and doesn't understand what ANYTIME means. read more

The next night she gets ready to prepare dinner, and looks on the package of chicken from the frozen foods. It expired back in March of 2019, today is June 3rd. Yes Walmart is always packed. yes Walmart has strange characters in both employees and customers. Yes, you save money. Yes, yes, and yes. Yes I get frustrated when there's long lines. Yes I choose to come here. No problems. I save I come to buy one item and leave with more. Plan A have my list. There is no Plan B. I get my shopping done and have a laugh at all I see here. The cashiers are mostly happy and those that are I love to make laugh. If you come here when it's not packed good luck and use that time to enjoy the speedy check out lines. This review does not single out this wal-mart in particular, its more of a general review for all of their stores. I'm sure where i should begin, although i have a few opinions about wal-mart that i don't think i should share on yelp, i will try to keep all my biases away for now, which also explains my rating.(if i could give my personal but irrational star rating, i would give it a 2, but I'm trying to reflect the general attitude towards it though) Anyway, this place is PACKED to the rafters with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you could EVER EVER EVER want, but not a very good quality of it anyhow. There are many people with many different accounts of this store but this next paragraph pretty much sums it up. Wal-mart is a store that was started by a man with a very good idea, an idea that if you made everything cheap, in bulk and if you distributed it efficiently, the business would flourish, and boy was he right. Today there are over 6,000 walmarts worldwide! Wal-mart is the epitome of capitalism, it truly is, everything you could want, cheap, accessible, and now days(this is another thing that i have an opinion that id rather not share here [you can ask me if you want]) but you can order your McDonald's food AT THE REGISTER! some say wow, but i say...blech, again thats my opinion. Needed a tire repaired. There was a line and I expected a wait and was told there would be one. But because my tire was "hard" to take off the wheel and put back on my vehicle was ignored and others that got there after me left before me. Then there was one issue after another trying to not have to fix this tire. I was there for 5 hours. slow af service. The manager took care of what he could and tried to make it right. But he couldn't go hold the service guys hands. That's 5 hours of my life just gone. read more

I would recommend you not waste your time in this store. I went in to purchase a few items. Went to the back corner by oil change and couldn't find what I was looking for so looked for an associate of assistance. Easy right? WRONG!! I walked though sporting goods, \automotive, hardware and electronics. Could find a single person so I pick up phone on the unmanned desk near ammo. I hit zero to ask for assistance and got an operator that didn't speak English. Tried to explain what I was looking for, all she could say was what, where are u, who is this.. totally ridiculous. I went to the front of store to speak with manager. At the front of the store, I found 2 you g men with yellow vests on. I asked if they were managers, they said yes. I want to preface this review by saying that I'm NOT one of those individuals who hates Walmart. I actually like Walmart. They normally have a good selection and affordable prices, enabling me to do the majority of my shopping at one location. I am absolutely bloody tired of this specific Walmart, however. Every time I go there it seems that I have some kind of problem. Either they're out of stock for one of the items I want, or one of the items rings up at the wrong price, or I can't find a clerk to get something out of a case for me, or they don't have enough registers open... Here are some examples of issues I've had at this Walmart: Earlier this month I went in to purchase some ammunition. I am a recreational shooter and I use Winchester White Box ammunition for practice, something that Walmart has at an incredibly low price. It took 46 minutes, asking three employees, and two telephone calls to the store manager to get into the case. (Note: I had an appointment less than 1 mile down the street scheduled for 2 hours after I arrived at the Walmart and had no other plans for the day. That's why I stayed). In the summer of 2011 I cared for three "at risk" children. They normally ate sandwiches, their choice, for lunch. As such I normally bought 2 packs of roast turkey and 2 packages of thick slice bologna every week. Both items were on sale for the entire summer. They range up incorrectly EVERY SINGLE TIME for the entire summer. I notified the store representative each time to have the price corrected. I notified the management staff four different times. The prices on these items were not corrected until I made management aware of the fact that I had recorded the last two notifications. Just today I went there to pick up an air purifier I'd had shipped to their store. While I was there I attempted to do some shopping. Even though this was early in the afternoon, supposedly mere hours after they finished stocking, an amazing number of products were simply not on the shelves. No diet tonic water (they stock two kinds) were available. Three different types of brand name sodas, three different brands of wheat bread, two different types of peanut butter were missing. They were out of sugar free cough drops, Alka-Seltzer, and the dye I use for my beard. They had over 40 different rows of American cheese though. The whole point of Walmart is one stop shopping. What's the point of going there if you have to go somewhere else to finish half of your shopping? Sadly, this is the only Walmart I have this problem with. None of the others in my area, stretching from Lewisville to North Richland Hills, have this problem. I've never had an issue with customer service. At least the last 5 times I was in, either a manager or a shift lead was walking around checking on customers. They clean up spills quickly and make sure to warn other customers of the potential fall risk. The reason I rate so low, THEIR PRODUCE IS DOWN RIGHT AWFUL! I will never ever again buy produce or anything around the outside perimeter. I bought a bag of grapefruit about a week ago. Cut into the first one, not fresh. Thinking that it was just one in the bag, I tried another one the following day. SAME THING! I've had similar instances with their apples and bananas. Neither lasted even a week. They were spoiled within 5 days of purchase. Their prices might be competitive, but the quality is sub par. It is worth it to spend the little extra money and get produce from a legitimate grocery store. read more

It is misnight, in a huge metro area, and walmart has one checkout lane open. Good planning.

This location is very hit or miss. A lot of the times they do run out of stuff. Sometimes the self check out line takes longer than the regular lines. At least there is cheap gas at the Sam's across the street. read more

So glad I got away from Walmart in Irving. This Walmart is clean, not overly crowded, very organised, and the employees actually work! So glad I don't have to stand in line for 20 minutes :) read more

Been going to this Walmart when it used to be at Kimball and 114. This store plain looks like crap. They never strip and polish floors like they used to. The bathrooms are appalling condition every time I go in there. The management from store manager and above is oblivious. The only part that is in good shape is the pharmacy. The people that work in the pharmacy are always bright and cheerful and willing to help. Truly if it weren't for them u think I would take all my prescriptions to Walgreens or CVS and stop shopping at Walmart all together. It is sad to see how poorly this store is run. read more

I've never had a worse experience shopping at Walmart. Maybe it is the location, but the customer service was honestly horrendous. I've worked in retail for 5 years and was strongly thinking about walking out and not buying anything because of such terrible service. My boyfriend and I just moved into an apartment together and were buying necessities. We were buying an iron, one we thought to be $17.88. When we brought it to attention that it was ringing up incorrectly, the checker scanned it again and proceeded to tell us that it was $44. He did not even bother to go check or see if maybe the item was incorrectly stocked. I then asked him to have someone who could help us more properly, since we were spending over $150 already. He got his manager who I went with to show her the spot where the iron was placed. She told me that customers put things in the wrong spot all the time. However, there were multiple irons in the wrong place. There was an iron in the $13.88 spot but she stated that iron was out of stock and was also in the incorrect spot. She was then rearranged the irons as I stood there because there were multiple in incorrect spots. It was 10:38pm on a Monday night. No reason the item should be misplaced. And if you have multiple items in incorrect spots, that is not the customer's fault for believing it to be a different price. Especially when there is only 2 left of that item. And one is in the "wrong" spot and one is in the "right" spot. She refused to do anything helpful and just argued with me. We decided not to buy an iron at all, due to the horrible customer service and will not be shopping at this location again. read more
