I cannot make this up! Stopped at this Walmart as a quick run in trip while celebrating my sons birthday at great wolf lodge. I ran in to get a standard birthday cake. I asked the lady behind the counter if she could write happy birthday Jaden on it. She told me she only works in deli. I asked her if she could maybe call someone who works in bakery? She asked me if I could write..confused I said yes. Just then someone whom I'm assuming is a manager walks up and asks me if I'm doing ok. I told him yes I was just needing someone that works in bakery. The lady asks me again if I can write with the manager there so again I said yes. She said come back here. I said oh you want me to write it on there?! The manager tells her they can't have the customer write on the cake. Just then an employee walks up and he asked her to help me. She said she had to go to the bathroom. So he takes it upon himself to write down what I wanted on the cake to give to her when she returned. I said Happy Birthday Jaden. He said is it spelled Jayden? I said no Jaden. He said ok and wrote it down. Needless to say I should've took the lady from delis advise and did it myself. I went shopping for some things while I waited for her. Probably about 30-35 mins. I come back and the girl is still working on the cake. At this point I am cringing at thinking about my kids and husband waiting in the car this whole time. The girl says to me embarrassed, "I'm sorry, I'm not a professional but I did my best." She lifted the cake up to show me and being in such a rush I barely looked at the cake and just said that's ok it's fine. As I was checking out I looked at the cake. There was smudging of the letters that looked like were wiped off at one point during the cake attempt, my sons name was spelled exactly how I said it wasn't spelled and to ice the cake (literally), there were 3 "p's" in the word happy. Been waiting 20 minutes now for grocery pick up which Walmart advertises aggressively will save you time and effort, however now if I just walked in and done the shopping, I'd already be home back on the couch. Need to get sorted out. read more

AutoCenter at Walmart be prepared to wait 3 or more hours and not even have your car looked or even a simple oil change. This has happened more than 3 times. The AutoCenter is disorganized. Rude to the costumers. The Service manager is not able to communicate with costumers and is not proactive. They believe certain people's cars go ahead than others. Even if they just arrived or have been waiting hours. Doesn't matter to them. No concept of time. Oh and if you get anything fixed/replaced/changed prepare for it to either be flat or broken in about week. So i mean if you want to waste hours of your life and waste your money for a job that isn't well done then go to this place. read more

I love Walmart. I feel like you are not supposed to love Walmart because they are the big giant corporation but I still love Walmart. Everything is less expensive there. For certain things the items they carry are junk and it is definitely not convenient to just pop in Walmart to pick up something quick but for the bulk of everyday staple type items and disposable items, I love Wally World. read more

I like this Wal-Mart out of all the others in the area. It can be a little tricky to get to. This location had different selections of food items as others. Seems to at night become mex-i-cano town. read more

I'm 100% sure I just got screwed at the Wal-Mart at 1601 W. State Highway 114, Grapevine, TX 76051 ( store 0266) over $10.00!! I shopped there on 3/10/15 with a bag getting left at the register. I called after I got home, after seeing several shirts missing. They had me weary to begin with after saying they would take them out of the bag and place them on the rack to sale again...Really? So after giving blood, working a full day of work I truffle back to the store to hopefully find my shirts again as I was told that or I would get a refund. The 1st lady I talked to said the same thing but of course was leaving the area by the time I got back, I tried to call out to her one time but didn't want to sorry her as I THOUGHT she was going home, she didn't just covering for someone I guess! So another lady helped me and also talked with another lady. She said she would have to search where the merchandise was before refunding since I couldn't find the replacement items (they were clearance so I knew it was a slim chance). Then after 3-4 other people were helped she made it back only to tell me in front of several people (by the way very unprofessional and I was embarrassed) that she looked at the video and seen the items were all accounted for and the cashier even looked to be sure items were clear the round area, I asked her several times becuz I knew this sounded fishy and advised the cashier was going to break (the cashier and I talked several minutes afterwards, before I left). This lady then talked to this 48 year old like a kindergartener stating she viewed it herself. Didn't offer to show me the footage just they weren't liable for it after items are out of the store. I told her again they didn't leave the register. At this point I had enough embarrassment, made me feel like I was trying to steal $10.00 from a child. So I just left with nothing but knowing that I wouldn't do my, at least, $400 plus an month shopping at this store again, regardless if it's close to my job! read more

I do love the pickup option at Walmart. I swear it saves me a ton of $ just because I'm not grabbing items I either don't need or not sure I already have. I use it usually 1-2 times a month. They have never NOT had anything on my list. Even the produce is fresh! It is sold by the lb.... So if you need one onion let's say..you'll get 2 and so on. I have a smart phone so I ck in on my way and they are ready and loading it within minutes! read more

I'm sure this probably has nothing to do with Walmart but the pharmacist there is horrible! His name is Jason and he had me standing in line while he bullshitted with 2 women for 20 minutes. His assistant was utterly embarrassed and it was obvious. I had a prescription transferred to this location for my little 16 yo chihuahua while I was in town dog sitting for my son. When I finally made it to the counter I found out they didn't even have the medication in stock It was a medication for his heart! I had not waited until the last minute but after I found out they didn't have it it was too late to get it anywhere else. I was livid. I called Walmart and they said yes, they have several complaints on JASON. Then do something about it Walmart!!!! I could understand one person, JASON, being stupid but didn't the 2 women realize how rude and inconsiderate he/they were being by holding up the line while others waited to pick up their medication? read more

In general I am not a fan of the giant discount stores and prefer Target if I have to go to one, but the Grapevine WalMart is probably the best I've been to around the country. The staff in particular is very good. They are knowledgeable, accommodating, and responsive. They make it worth the trip! The location tends to bring a more suburban and well-mannered crowd, and I think that carries over to the staff. Other WalMart stores around the metroplex are not as nice and neither are the people that work there. read more

I wish you could give 0 stars..Reggie the assistant manager in the automotive department is rude, confrontational, and very unprofessional. He argued with us and when we asked to speak with the store manager he said "hes at lunch " and he tried to dismiss us. I called another walmart store and he wouldnt even speak with them. They told me to speak to the store manager as well.. and whats sad is that i was in the right. I had to drive to another walmart to get assistance. The manager Reggie was very incompetent. Their pharmacy is way slow and some of the people that work in it speak bad English found myself repeating things up to five times and they are both stuck on slow mode. I'd rather have dental work done than come here ever again read more

Do not go to this store. The cashiers are rude. The person in charge is the worst. I have gone to this Walmart for over a year. I seem to have a problem at least once a month. I go once a week for my job and they decide to make up policies as they go. It's a waste of time. read more

I'm at Walmart at 0937 on a Thursday morning and only one person working in the lube department and he's busy. He said there are two service writers here and doesn't know where they are. He apologized profusely. Then I go to jewelry department for a batter and not a soul there. I ask one of the checkers if they can get someone? She tried. Finally I left. Shame on you Walmart for not adequately staffing and putting the staff who is there in stressful situations. I'm done with Walmart! read more

I went do some shopping at WalMart Grapevine, that's my neighborhood store. The employees know me and I greet them nicely. The assistant manager,an African American woman named DIANE yelled at me in a tone quite something, not to distract her employees. She yelled two additional times and the third time I greeted and employee, she yelled at me in a vulgar manner and with a tone that could be heard throughout WalMart. I also raised my voice and asked her why she didn't respect her clients and she said that's not her job. She called the police. When the police arrived and found out it was not the first time that she screamed at me, I was just told to ignore her. I was also advise to call her boss the next day, which I did. I was told by the boss that another employee was asked about what happened the night before, to which the employee said that I had started everything. It is obvious not go and say anything against your boss because the employee is afraid of him/her.In conclusion, nothing was done to the assistant manager Diane at WalMart in Grapevine and she continues and will continue to give bad treatment to the customers that go there to spend their money. If the same situation had happened in another supermarket, the story will be different. read more

I just got out of an eye operation and headed home as quick as possible very tired. I needed to fill my meds for my eyes. I called WM in Grapevine. The young man that answered the phone told me yes we are open till nine pm. I walked up to the window at 20 minutes till 9. Was greeted by a lady with long red hair and one other lady letting me know they were not filling anymore meds, tonight, very abrupt! They then started carrying on a conversation with the pharmacist like I wasn't even in the room saying they were leaving no more scrips tonight. I reminded them it was 20 minutes till nine,but that did not matter, very rude lady turned her back on me and never looked back. The pharmacist very nicely started to fill my script even tho you could tell the redheaded lady was very upset with the whole deal. The young man never looked up at me and continued to fiddle around at the register Finely he put my scripts in line to be filled. I couldn't understand anything he said! He saw me writing and then ask me "Is there anything else I can do for you mam, very nicely. It is sad that people are treated so rude from WM. I just had a run-in with Billy at this Wal-Mart around 11:00 p.m. on 10/1/2014. Billy was cleaning the floors and almost crashed into me, instead of saying anything he made a face and went about his business. Okay, no problem I thought to myself. So I carried on with my shopping. Well it turns out Billy is coming down the other side of the lane behind me. Now instead of asking me to move, or speaking to me like a human being, Billy decides whistling at me was the best option. Now I don't know about anyone else, but how does it feel to have someone whistle at you not once, not twice, not three times, but five times? On top of that when I turn around to ask him what his problem is, and if he thinks it is appropriate to whistle at customers, he simply says he is trying to do his job. Now I'm not sure what Billy's job description is but I am sure it doesn't include being rude to customers. After having a back and forth exchange with him for a minute, while he stutters, backpedals, and ultimately tries to blame me for his behavior, I walk away. This isn't the end of it for Billy, he is right on my heels, pushing away with his floor buffer because God forbid he gives me 10 seconds to get ahead of him. Upon walking to the front of the store to checkout I notice Billy is on his break. He walks right past me, and I look at him wondering if this man who looks in his late 50's might apologize, so that I could then apologize, so that all would be right in the world. However this isn't what happened, he makes another face and walks off. I just don't understand how you could reach this age and still not have any etiquette towards your customers. Passive-aggressive behavior is the worst, and oddly enough as other employees stood by and watched, they also said nothing. Why not say, "Hey Billy, don't worry about it." ; "Let the customer walk without you running your buffer into him." ; "Is cleaning the floor so serious that you're trying to start confrontations with customers?". Anyways, hopefully someone reads this and perhaps sends Billy to some training in regards to customer service. read more
