Not long after, i received a notification that my script was being filled. That was fast! A little later I received notice that it was ready, but I didn't have availability to drive out at ththat time. Next day I went out, but it was during rush hour traffic. If you go at this time, make sure to bring your patience. Easy parking in a separate lot off to the side. I walked in and was addressed immediately- great customer service! all went quickly. Once they realized customers could hear the conversation, they moved it to a back aisle, leaving the self-checkout area unattended. The employee who eventually assisted me, Taylor (Shift Supervisor), appeared frustrated at having to step away from the conversation to help a customer. Her interaction came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. While everyone can have stressful days, customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect. What concerned me most was hearing repeated comments about being unable to handle the stress of the position due to her age and workload. Leadership roles in customer service require professionalism, patience, communication, and the ability to remain composed while assisting customers. Based on this interaction, I believe additional customer service training and leadership development would be beneficial before continuing in a supervisory role. I truly hope management focuses on reinforcing professional communication, customer engagement, and consistent service standards. There is a huge difference in service when a person brings both humility and empathy to the experience. Time and again she goes beyond expectations. This is because if you are a person that visits a pharmacy twice per month every month, the expectations are low. Just look at all the patients griping online about their local pharmacy. But it is worth getting a CVS account and going in and picking up your prescription and getting the receipt to get the discounts. Be sure to carefully read the requirements for your discounts. It may be better for you to divide your purchases in order to get the most off. Also, 19.95 items are a drag when your discount kicks in at $20.00. But I have learned to buy the bigger sizes and combine discount can really work out. I got a $32. Item down to $8. And I was pretty happy. This is the best results I have ever had. They also have a great selection of fun beauty items and hair ornaments.
