Horrible service, if you can even call it that. Was hung up on by pharmacy staff after being transferred/on hold 3 times. If you threaten to report them or call the store manager they become suddenly halfway helpful. Pharmacy can't separate discount cards, insurance or communicate/rectify their internal failures with both. Your insurance, prescriber or discount card will always be the reason why your prescription isn't filled when it should be. If you manage to get through to someone with actual skill, they still cannot fill your medication because CVS doesn't allow them to keep the supply on hand (due to the cost of one single dose) and you'll have to wait several days for it to arrive. Don't depend on this chain for lifesaving or life-altering medication. They'll treat you like a number, not a person. read more

I recently switched to this CVS because I moved. I have never experienced poor customer service from a CVS pharmacy until now so I'm going to say, stay away from this specific CVS pharmacy. I have picked up prescriptions 3 or 4 times and each time the employees try to make sure I don't save money. They question my insurance and any prescription savings cards I produce but it hasn't gotten so bad that I needed to write a review about it until today. Went in to pick up a prescription... Employee: "are you aware of the cost for this?" Me: Should be 9 dollars but I'm guessing from your statement its going to be more? Employee: Goes back to get my prescription and briefly reads something and says out loud: "Yep! I don't need to verify, yessssss!" - I don't know what this specifically meant but you can read on and take from it what you will Employee: "That will be 196 dollars" Me: I have a savings card that should change it to 9 dollars Employee: "That savings card no longer works" Me: Well can you run it to be sure? Employee: "I don't need to I ran it yesterday" Me: So you simply wont run my card to verify for me? Employee: "I don't need to I ran it yesterday" Employee: "Your milligram prescription is no longer covered by the savings card" Me: Fine. I get home and call the savings card customer support number and they have no idea what the issue is. They say there is no change to the savings, the card, or policy. They then ask me, did they run your card? I said, no, they refused to. They didn't know what to say to that and provided my card details again and included a phone number the pharmacy can call if they need verification. I go back to CVS - different employee, I will call this employee, "Better Employee", helps me but the employee from the first interaction is there. Me: I was over charged for this prescription Better Employee: "No problem, let me take a look" I now hear Better Employee talking to the first one, going back and fourth on how it isn't covered. Better Employee: "It says right here, 9 dollars" Employee: "Well thats good" Better employee: "Ok looks like there was an error and it will cost 9 dollars and I will refund what you initially paid. I just need to take the prescription back for a sec" As she is repackaging my prescription, Employee starts feverishly checking on the computer to validate my 9 dollar cost; this is something she refused to do when I asked her on my first visit. I can hear her mumbling about it shouldn't be covered, and that she is still checking. I finally get upset and say Me: Why are you trying so hard to not allow me to save money? Employee: Mumbles something I couldn't hear Employee: "I'm just verifying the cost" Me: You just saw your coworker verify and you said, well that's good. At this point the manager is looking over because I am noticeably upset. My medication is still sitting in the back and they aren't bringing it to me even after its been verified as costing 9 dollars. Better employee finally brings my medication and then gets cut off by the manager who suddenly needs to verify it again - doesn't look at me, doesn't say just a sec, doesn't address me in any way what-so-ever. All I can take from my interactions with this specific CVS pharmacy is they want nothing to do with saving you money and if you get upset they will take offense and do whatever they can to further cause you grief. read more

Came to this Minute Clinic because it's blocks from my daughter's dance school. I awoke with an infected stye causing me serious pain and a headache. I knew I needed an antibiotic eye drop or it's certain to get worse. I came in at 9:10 am and left with my prescription from the pharmacy on site 10 minutes before 10 am. Significantly lower out of pocket cost when still meeting a deductible too. Overall, a great place for quick and relatively easy diagnosis. Super happy to be on the road to recovery and relief! read more

the pharmacy manager needs a course in customer service. i called today because the PA administering the COVID test would not see me 5 minutes late after I forgot my ID at home and had to get it (i live 10 minutes away) after having to reschedule due to someone messing up my test by not putting my name on the tube the first time. AND THIS PA TEXTED ME ON HER PERSONAL DEVICE INSTEAD OF USING THE STORES PHONE TO CALL ME. so i call to speak to a manager and the pharmacy lead answers with an attitude, interrupts and says, "i don't know anything about that and hangs up". so, i call back and the man is giving me attitude, making it seem like i am inconveniencing him by wanting to sort the issue out. he is talking over me constantly, wouldn't let me talk at all to the point where i had to ask him to shut the fuck up and let me talk. his name is as Ali or Ami. at the end, he tells me the PA said I needed to reschedule and said her name was tiffany. the PA texted me saying, "are you back yet?" after overhearing me say i'm going to corporate- basically trying to save her ass after telling her and the manager telling me i need to reschedule. needless to say, i got tested and came back negative. but, still filed a complaint with corporate- looking on my chart the PA's name wasn't tiffany, it's lori. they tried giving me a fake name to cover their asses. i wouldn't be so upset if they did their job correctly the first time instead of me having to get tested again after missing work for a week after being exposed to COVID at work. they need to get new management and a better attitude. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Grapevine, Texas

BEWARE the (401) area code rapid tester. Absolute worst COVID test experience of the past two years. Needed a rapid test last week on 12/31/21 and showed up for an 8:50am appointment. Because other customers were parked in the rapid testing spots it took me a few minutes to find out where to go. I texted that I had arrived at 8:53am. No response or instructions. Texted again at 9:03am. No response. Finally I text at 9:16 once more "I'm parked by the back door is that the right spot?" I get a call from a 401 Rhode Island number. The pharmacist doing the rapid tests tells me that she had called me earlier in the morning to give me directions and since I did not answer her call, she was not going to answer my texts like we are children or exes or something. She was just going to let me sit in my car until I gave up? I have never previously had any interactions with this woman or know her from anywhere else, just a random outburst from a pharmacist whom I would expect to act professionally especially given the role she is playing in the world right now. I have no idea if this woman was tired or had something else in her life frustrating her, but the level of unprofessionalism I experienced from this woman will ensure that I never go to this location for any future pharmacy or covid testing needs. If she is this ridiculous about not answering a call for which she didn't even leave a message I can only imagine the level of care that she would use handling a customer's medical information. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I will NEVER go here again!!! Justin the so called "manager" on duty is horrible! I stood at the photo center area waiting for assistance. Justin walks up with a customer and acknowledges me, asked how I was doing. Good deal, I'm next. Soon after customers started getting in line and he started to check them out and not help me or acknowledge that I needed up get in line. Annoyed I asked out if I needed to wait for someone else to help and he said with a tone "no, you can get in line and I can get them". I of course respond off his tone that it would have been nice to know that or have been told that so that I now didn't have to wait behind other customers that showed up after me. He then called me an ASSHOLE! Exact words "well you don't have to be an asshole about it!". I'm being an asshole??!! So I ask where his manager is and goes on to say he's the manager. Sad! Then he proceeds to stare me down and tell me to get out of the store!!! I waited in line to get my photos!!! Never again will I go to this location and will tell everyone I know not to use this location either. read more

I have visited this location over 2 dozen times in the last few years. From the very beginning the staff overall has been helpful. Specifically the pharmacy staff and even more specifically Shandra and Emma. If you have picked up a Rx there you know Emma even if you don't know her by name. There is a huge difference in service when a person brings both humility and empathy to the experience. Time and again she goes beyond expectations. This is because if you are a person that visits a pharmacy twice per month every month, the expectations are low. Just look at all the patients griping online about their local pharmacy. These poor employees are barraged daily with the less than desirable attitudes of people that are in pain or sick. But Emma never waivers. Always smiling and helpful. She's the reason I have added the 4th star, that one is hers alone! read more

I am extremely frustrated with the pattern we have seen at this CVS. They show a repeated lack in customer service, quality, and accuracy. It is by far the most convenient due to location to our home, but after this week we will never be back. On more than one occasion they have attempted to overcharge us on my daughter's medication. I would not have known if another pharmacy had not explained our co-pay, but each time I have had to sit there and argue to get it corrected and never an apology. My daughter switched to a chewable medication last month. When I dropped it off they said it would have to be ordered and offered the Rx back to me. I said "No, I really need it filled even if we have to wait a couple extra days". They agreed but she literally rolled her eyes at me! This month I drop it off, and it is filled within two days. I go, pick it up, and on the way home realize they wrote across the top of the bag "Please note, not chewable". No consult, no phone call, they just decided they knew what was better for my child than her doctor and I did. Almost $300 medication that for all they know she is incapable of taking now. We will never be back. I strongly caution anyone from using this pharmacy unless you are ready to be a constant advocate for your cost and correct medications. read more

This is the absolute worst service. I requested a refill authorization be sent to my doctor 11 days ago. CVS automated service told me my refill would be ready in 3 days. Ten days later - nada. Contacted my doctor's office to see what the delay was - CVS never sent over request. Doctor sent it to them and was told it would be ready yesterday. No surprise it wasn't ready this morning. CVS told me to come back at 4. I did and it still wasn't ready. The woman in the drive through was so rude and snarky I couldn't believe it. You know, CVS staff, we all screw up. A simple, "We dropped the ball - we've been slammed - we we're wrong - ANYTHING - would have gone a long way. Instead the clerk acted like I had inconvenienced her. I don't know why I have continued to patronize this pharmacy for years. They have always been extremely rude but this gal today takes the cake. Never again. read more

I have issues getting my medication EVERY TIME. I only have to get one medication here bc out of 6 others in the area around me, this being 9.4 miles from my house and 18 miles from my school. No CVS in the area I travel will give it to me. I have already told this CVS it's difficult to get this one prescription here and wait an HOUR every time. Then I was told if I had it early, the one I normally go to will be able to order it. I did so on the 17th. This was the CVS off of Hall-Johnson. I was told there that it should be there by mid next week and that I could get the 90 day supply. I called Wednesday, the day before thanksgiving to see if I could pick it up. Then I was told it wasn't there and maybe at the end of this week (5th). I then had to call this one on that Wednesday and make arrangements bc I run out of my medication on Tuesday...tomorrow. They said they had the stock then but I couldn't have it filled until today, the 1st. I had to check again on Friday and Sunday to make sure they still had the amount needed bc I was told they couldn't hold the amount. Sunday I was told a note could be put in the computer to hold that amount for today. I asked if it was going to take an hour again and that I've tried to get this sorted since the 17th. I was put on hold and then told that they could work with me (since I either have to walk around the store or sit in my car for an hour) that they could do it in maybe 30 minutes for me and a note would be put in the computer. Great. Today only the amount held was confirmed but now I have been told that in fact my insurance will not cover a 90 supply unless mail ordered. Not sure why that wasn't done when I was at Hall-Johnson and was told it was going to be ordered. I had to get a 30 day supply only which is another pain in my ass bc the Drs office, which again cannot find a closer one, is just a bit further into Colleyville than this CVS. It takes me a good 45 minutes from school to get to this area with normal traffic. Now I have to see if I can get more scripts from the Drs office so that I don't have to go to them once a month. The 90 day supply was supposed to help solve that but CVS was incompetent at TWO locations. It took an hour and all they could do was say they were sorry and didn't know what happened. I even asked what I could do differently so that this never happens again and there was no answer. So the moral of the story is that no matter what you do, even if all correct, CVS WILL SCREW UP NO MATTER WHAT. Hoping I can switch to another business. I will not have my medication screwed up again by a CVS. The first time sent me to the ER and the second time cost me two days of work and health issues. INCOMPETENT EVERY WHERE!! read more
