I'm sharing this review to caution others: If you decide to use Walmart's Auto Center in Centerville be sure to double-check any work done, even if it appears routine. I expected a much higher level of care and accountability from a professional auto center. 1. Walmart's Auto Center in Centerville Worked on My Spare Tire on 07.22.2025 - I paid for a TPMS install on the spare. - They removed and reinstalled the spare as part of the service(after I removed my locked bike rack from the tow hitch in their parking lot for access purposes) 2. They Reinstalled It - Surveillance video appears to show the techs reinstalling the spare. - The techs did not appear to do a thorough visual inspection to make sure the retention plate was seated properly(contested by manager during my last visit) 3. The Tire Fell Off Later - The spare was missing nine days later. - I had to replace a small unrelated suspension link in my friends driveway the following week when I noticed my spare tire was missing - I didn't touch the spare at any point after the time of service and it is impossible for anyone to lower/remove the spare without removing a key-locked bike rack and opening the tailgate to access the winch cable lowering mechanism - There are no broken retention brackets, winch cables, or latches so it could not have occured due to a hardware failure. 4. The Only Plausible Explanation is that the Spare was Installed Incorrectly - The most logical and supportable conclusion is negligent installation (improper seating of the retention plate and "claw" at some point during cable winching process) - After stopping by Walmart to inquire more about the surveillance video, I inspected the retention bracket, cable and cable housing and then took measurements of the cable length and retention plate/spring. - I then prepared detailed illustrations of the aftermarket wheel/tire measurements as well as the cable and retention plate including the retention plate spring. - Returning again to Walmart to present the illustrations and measurements I had prepared to Tyson the manager. - I explained the only plausible scenario was an incorrectly installed spare as demonstrated in the illustrations . - I asked him if I could send him a digital copy of the illustrations and photographed measurements to submit a claim with Walmart. - The manager Tyson declined to submit a claim on my behalf so I took my Illustration and photographs and left. 5. The Resulting Financial Loss - This Spare was a brand new aftermarket $289 BF Goodrich All-Terrain Tire mounted on a $329 17" Method Wheel that was installed under the car as spare three years prior and remained in place until the time of this Walmart service - That's a ~$600 spare tire missing plus ~$50 of gas to make multiple trips back to Walmart's Centerville location to try and sort things out with Walmart's auto center manager. 6. Not My First Experience with Poor Service at That Walmart Autocenter - I also recently brought a Ford Explorer to this same Walmart Auto Center in Centerville to get two new tires installed - The one of the remaining tires was noticeably low when I brought the car in so I asked them to top off the tire pressure - They assured me they would check and top off all four tires as part of the service. - When they were finished installing the new tires I paid at the counter and then went outside to get the car and noticed the tire still looked low. - I talked to a tech at the open bay door and he graciously agreed to take a look - The tech said the tire was 15 psi below the suggested recommended amount and proceeded to top off the air pressure. While not a huge deal I am posting this because it's one of two services I had done on cars at this Walmart location that were sub-par. ** Illustrations and measurement photos available on my Google Reviews review. read more

My experience here was very pleasant. This store is very clean and well lit. All the remodeling they've done, makes it look like a classy department store. The clothing displays are very appealing. I like the low prices but classy appeal. It seems like there is a pretty good selection of everything and I was easily able to find what I was looking for. There are mostly self check outs now which seem to make the lines a lot less. I didn't need help on this visit so I didn't talk to anyone. read more

My family went into the store looking for some items for my children and found backpacks for $1.98, however when we got to the cashier we were told they were $9+, when we asked for a manager Dylan came over, and he was abrupt and rude to the point that it was clear we were second class customers as he directly address the cashier and not us. I called the store phones and was advised the DS was at another station dealing with customer and would be over shortly, well half way over he was intercepted by Dylan -Key carrier and taken in the back of customer support. He finally came over and advised that he is not able to give us the displayed price. Dylan came back over after and it was clear that this was not about the product and pricing but the fact that we are BLACK, I have shopped in this store before and for the first time I walked away feeling disappointed and angry. Alright so I was walking up to the doors of the lawn & plant section of the store from the parking lot and this lady employee (with a shaved hair haircut for identification) hurried and locked the doors when I was 5 feet from entering. She then gave me a VERY EXAGGERATED and unnecessary angry look and gesture to go to the front main doors to then walk all the way through the store to the plant section. Instead of having kind courtesy and waiting a few extra seconds for me to walk through the doors she locked it right it from of me and made ME feel stupid... that's just flat out rude. I was very unimpressed to say the least, this was the first interaction I encountered before even entering the store. Makes me think this isn't the first time she has treated paying customers this way... I'll be taking my business somewhere else! read more

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE GROCERIES FROM THE CENTERVILLE WALMART! Or shop there. The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. I ordered from Walmart's online grocery, based at my local store in Centerville, Ut. My order was almost 700.00 dollars. Everything was fine, until the food was supposed to be delivered. It was left at the wrong address. I called the Walmart in Centerville, who told me that they could not help me. They told me to call the corporate number. I did. I was transferred 5 times, sat on hold in between those transfers for a total of 2 hours. One (of the many) corporate representative contacted the local branch, who repeated to them there was nothing they could do. Because I used a bank card instead of an EBT card, then I have to wait for a refund. All of my money was tied up in that food order. Waiting for 5-7 days without food is reprehensible. They did not contact the dasher, Door Dash, or attempt send me another food order. I have never been treated so poorly by a company that was at fault. I have the photo that proved that it was not my house. In fact, the picture looked pretty sketchy. Like it was a picture of the delivery driver's car interior. So someone out there is having a fantastic night on me. I will never shop at the Walmart in Centerville again. I get corporate being all tied up in policy nonsense ( still inexcusable) but my local store should have contacted the driver, or sent me another order. I won't ever shop there again. read more

I just expect bad service from employees when I walk into a grocery or supermarket. And then when I run into someone so nice and helpful, I am glad. Companies have high turn over rates so that rude employee probably quit the next week. Still doesn't make Walmart suck. Of course there are some people that are just sad and might hate their lives. People we just went through a lot these past 2 years!!!! And THEN.... Who can pay for Utah's rent working at a Walmart or any company that pays under $20/hour?!?!? Housing and inflation for EVERYTHING HAS GONE UP!!! Health insurance is so pricey!!! People are BURNT OUT & get little to no help! It is so Expensive JUST TO SPEAK to a therapist FOR 1 hour shifts to assist with emotions people are going through with so much change after a drastic crazy 2 years. Really. What's next America? If I could give no stars I would. Bought Kuerig through Walmart via US Bathroom Store and the very next day, showed delivered. Contacted by email and was told to wait an appropriate time for it to be delivered since sometimes that is the case. Waited. Emailed again and they responded with "we will process your refund" and to wait 8-10 days which I took as 8-10 Business days. After allotted time emailed AGAIN. Response was, "Because of purchase and return history, we cannot process refund". Looked back on my purchase and return history online and NOTHING. So some one not only pocketed my money but a real nice Kuerig. I was told to work it out with my bank so that's what I did but WHAT A PAIN! read more

I ended up stopping by this Walmart to grab some drinks and snacks for my drive back to Idaho. I love going to different Walmart's whenever I am away from home because Walmart clearance and prices vary from store to store. Anyhow, as I walked into the store I saw a clearance display for 5 x 7 rugs. They were normally priced at $79.99 and they were on clearance for $40. Needless to say, I ended up buying snacks, drinks, & a new rug. Lol. The store was very busy. They had plenty of employees working the registers and stocking shelves. Awful, awful experience. I needed a printer TODAY as mine had been retired by the manufacturer and stopped working. I went online and Walmart said that it was available at the Centerville store for pick-up today but it would be cheaper if I purchased it online. I did so. I then received a message that it would be ready for pickup after 2:43 PM. I then received a message stating that part of my order was not available and that they would have to ship it. Meanwhile, my credit card was charged 3 times and not one of prices matched the price on my receipt. August 24, 2018 Today is my youngest daughter's 26th birthday. Yesterday morning we ordered her birthday cake through the Bakery Department to be paid for upon pick up. Just now, my other daughter went to pick up the birthday cake and was told that there was no order placed . I spoke with Tammy, the Bakery Manager, explaining what happened and she said she'll handle it by finding out who the Baker was that morning and would call me back. I'm waiting... I got a call back from an employee, within 2 minutes of speaking with Tammy and offered to have a cake made right then and there. I denied the offer. Sometimes the positioning of store merchandise makes me feel claustrophobic, like the store needs to either expand in size or maximize the space without feeling or looking overwhelmed. This is one isolated incident involving a birthday cake, you get to decide what to do. read more

I had an amazing experience with the photo center here! I designed and ordered a photo book of my wedding day(way easier to design than with costco in fact, personalization factor was awesome!). When i ordered same day pick up the night before, the order was said to be done but was actually not done when i arrived at the pickup time i was given. The lovely and friendly photo counter clerk, Jennifer, was an absolutely amazing help with getting my order done right away. She even mentioned the pile of calenders that needed finished but she went out of her way to finish making my books for me. read more

An unnamed coworker told me she couldn't help me with my order cuz her shift ended seven minutes before. We tracked down Cynthia who went into full Mission Impossible mode. 3 mins later, Damien had our order in hand. First of all? I am appalled at the lack of customer care provided by the front end people. I came up to the front end with my purchases and had to unlock my card. This required a signal which I could not get at the register. So I stepped to the front of the store by The doors, and the front end supervisor acted like I was going to dart off with belongings that were in the cart that she guarded over the whole time. She was too busy to notice that I had left my card in the machine and my keys in the shopping basket so there would be no way that I would run off with anything. Not sure why that all happened but she was so interested in what I was doing that she neglected an older gentleman who had to ask me for help using his debit card because the machine didn't seem to want to take the card. And then the csr turned to me and basically told me that she could handle it. To which I replied as I was walking away "obviously not because you were paying too much attention to me doing absolutely nothing wrong." I haven't been to this Walmart in a very long time much less any Walmart because I hate the atmosphere, I hate the fact that they have 20 registers and only two are open at the at a time and I absolutely abhor the fact that if you don't dress and look a certain way you're automatically profiled once you walk in that door." I regret making the choice to go back. News flash! People like that don't shop at Walmart, they either have someone do it for them or they shop elsewhere. I was walking around in Walmart just browsing in the outdoor section of the store and I saw a hiking backpack. The price listed was for $1.98. there was another row of bags of the same design but there wasn't any price attached and just to be sure I took a picture of it. When I went to checkout, I promptly showed the picture to the cashier and she called the supervisor on duty to adjust the price. When Dylan the supervisor came over, he was out right rude and insisted that was not going to change the price even though I showed him the price sticker. He did not apologize, he was saying that he won't change the price and was adamant about it. To be honest, it wasn't about the price of the bag, it was just the principle of the situation. Not being accommodating at all to his customers all. He treated us as second class citizens. The cashier on the other hand apologized to us and even asked us how can she help to make it better. read more

This is a very poorly managed store! Only 2 cashiers on a Saturday morning. If your cashier needs a manager, they never come to help. These poor cashiers don't even get there breaks on time, most of the time its a half hour to 45 minutes later than scheduled. Walmart needs to take care of there cashiers, they are on the front lines busting there butts and not one manager thankful for there cashiers. It is so disgusting how the cashiers are treated. I had other customers around me complaining about how bad this store has become. Besides the cashiers have to deal with old outdated, broken down registers. The store is clean, spacious, and well-organized. Absolute rock bottom prices on a host of staples, and for cheap disposable crap you can hardly do better. $6 lawn chairs. I have come to appreciate the groceries here; especially the produce. They consistently outperform my local Smiths on selection, price and freshness. They even managed a much better watermelon than Trader Joes, at half the cost. A good example of Wal-Mart at its best; for what it's worth. read more

We did a grocery pickup tonight. Reserved the 5-6 time, got a notification it would be delayed. That's fine, we go when we get the notification that it's ready about 45 min later. However- we then waited for an hour 1/2 in the pickup lot. I could have gone in and bought all my items in 20 min. In fact at one point I did go in and was able to find the items that they claimed were out of stock. And still came back out and waited more. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

This is your typical Wal-Mart until you see how clean it actually is. The first Wal-Mart I've been to where I don't feel like I need a shower after leaving. Convenient location, well staffed, organized and love the fact that the parking lot is not surrounded by trash and abandoned dirty diapers. I feel the prices are average. I bought 15 items and my total was $76.00. I can buy a full cart of groceries at Smith's for what I paid at Wal-Mart. You think you're saving, but really you're not. I usually have no issues when I come to this Walmart get in get out no it problem the last couple times that I have come in here with my daughter whether she be in a car seat and I have her in a cart or I have her in my stroller I usually have to do self check out because there are literally never any lanes open for me to go into with a trucker here, i've noticed a couple times every time I go to self check out whether other people are there or not the lady that is there usually every weekend working in the mornings she wears glasses I think people know who I'm talking about but she always works there anyway she always comes near me and watches me it does it matter if I have my daughter with me if I come back and she always watches me and today right now actually I just came out from Walmart because I had to get milk for my daughter I had my cart her and the other man in the self check out literally walked up next to me and just stood there while I checked out I turned around I made eye contact with them to say like hey I know you're standing there watching me and they still stood there and watched me, And as I was getting my stuff out to put into my cart they still stood there and watched me I don't get what it is three other people came in at the same time that I was standing there and they still stood there and watched me, I usually wouldn't care but it's getting to the point where every time I come in like I said this lady stands there and watches me so Walmart can you please retrain your employees to not make your customers feel like they are being singled out and a thief and watched when I'm literally just checking out and leaving and maybe not have your employees stand over your customers shoulders and watch what they're doing because next time I am going to make a bigger deal out of this I am not gonna come into your store and be harassed and yes this is the centerville location. Okay, so who writes a review about Walmart, right? I am reviewing the "place your order online and pickup at the store" service. With all the Covid-19 precautions I decided to try out a coupla places just in case it becomes necessary. So I went downloaded the Walmart app, selected my delivery date and timeframe and a few minutes later had my order placed. I even was able to go back in later and modify my order. You have to order $30 worth of stuff to get free pickup... not sure how that works quite yet. Maybe the first go is free and then there will be a charge? When my order was ready I received a text and an emailthe order was ready and notifying me of some items that were out-of-stock. I confirmed through the app that I was on my way to the store (so they could get my order ready). Parked in a stall and called the phone number on the sign. A person verified my order and after 10 minutes a guy came out with my stuff. Dude loaded the groceries into my vehicle while I remained seated a socially responsible distance away in the driver's seat. Took a little longer at the store than I had envisioned but all things considered, a functional process. read more

Very unfriendly and "put-out" employees at the self check out at this WalMart in Centerville on Parrish Lane. No desire to help a customer by providing other solutions to a problem. Spoke to the manager who was very apologetic and seemed to take customer concerns seriously. Just because you provide the lowest prices does not mean you need to provide the lowest level of shopping experience for your customers, too. I hope this is not a standard of treatment at this location. My local WalMart rates significantly higher. Proud of our store. read more

I avoid Walmart more and more as time goes on, but I was particularly frustrated after my recent trip to this location. I was in search of 4 particular items that I had checked online to see if they had in stock at this location and it said they had them all. I went to the store, found two of the item shelves I was looking for and they were empty. I found an employee who was having a conversation with another employee, and I stood right there next to them seeking help and neither of them even looked at me. I waited for them to finally look at me and I asked if they could check on the items for me. The employee said "I don't have a scanner..." OKKKK sooo then we just stood there looking at eachother until I said "alright well is there someone else who can help me?" The employee then YELLED for another employee across the produce area asking if he could "come help this lady"... then the new employee came over annoyed, scanned the item and said "it says we have 30 in stock on the floor." OK well they clearly aren't here so I asked if they would be somewhere else and he said "NOPE but it says we have 30 they just aren't here." ANYWAYS I walked out without the items I needed and some of the worst customer service I've experienced. read more
