Amazing customer service! We have had several pharmacies and they have been so on the ball and helpful each and every time.

Horrible customer service!!!!! The worst actually! Surprised they are still in business. A year ago they didn't have enough of a prescription that I had dropped off. They told me they would order more. On the day I needed it they said it hadn't been ordered. The next day I asked again, they said since I was the only customer that needed it they wouldn't be ordering it. Well, after many attempts to speak to the owner I decided to take all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy. It is a law that if you ask to have it transferred the pharmacy holding your prescription must transfer it! It is not the pharmacies property! I did ask for all of my prescriptions to be transferred!! And they would not transfer them!!! A year later my Dr called in a script accidentally to them. Rather than trying to transfer it I picked it up today. Not surprised that the cost was 2.5x the price than what I would pay at the other local pharmacy. The owner is not a nice person. Has zero concept of what it takes to run a retail business and has zero rapport with the people responsible for keeping her in business. It is illegal not to transfer prescriptions when your customer asks you do so! That being said I would vehemently not recommend this business to anyone. read more

Customer service from the owner, Mary, could use serious improvement. Whatever era her management style belongs to, it has no place in a modern workplace--yelling at employees in front of customers is unacceptable. It's no wonder the pharmacy is understaffed; this kind of leadership drives good people away and leaves customers paying the price. read more

If I could leave zero stars, that would be more appropriate. I called to initiate a refill on April 19th. I know they have a 3 day policy and require payment, so being the responsible adult I am, when I called I said " I haven't filled here in over a year, can we make sure my card is active so that it will be started" ? She assured me it would be started because there was a card on file, and if there were any issues then they would contact me. Well on April 23rd at 430PM, they texted me and said I needed to update my payment. I called and did that, and then called today to make sure it was ready to pick up only to be told " you paid after the cutoff for the 3 days and it was too late because 3pm is the daily cutoff" Okay so you're telling me that you were too lazy to check my card on the 19th WHEN I ASKED TO DO THAT and then WAITED 5 days to even start the refill? They had my prescription for a week and didn't bother calling me. This is after losing the prescription for about a week. I had to change my follow up appointment for the doctor because of how long it took to prepare. Not pleased. Will not go back. read more

Mary Rogers (the owner) informed me that she would no longer fill my medication because (1) I was the only person who received that medication, and (2) she was unable to negotiate a price with the manufacturer that would allow her to make a substantial profit from it. She then told me that, "when the courts get it figured out," she would be happy to fill my medication again. I understand that a business must be profitable, but according to the U.S. Census Bureau, the average profit margin for a pharmacy is 21%, which, in theory, should be plenty of profit for Mary Rogers to continue to run a profitable business. So before deciding to trust Mary Rogers at Bountiful Drug with your medications, ask yourself - does she truly care about the wellbeing of her customers? My usual pharmacy having closed its location after many years, I decided to try Bountiful Drug. My first encounter with employees was pleasant. However, a particular drug was out of stock, and so they gave me what they could and invited me to come back the next day. The next day, my wife was in town, so she picked up the drug for me. However, she was required to give a co-pay that I was not informed about when I originally asked for the item. In my prior experiences over 40+ years, my pharmacists have always been careful to let me know of potential cost implications that might be more than a few dollars. Upon learning about this, my wife having arrived home with the drug, I called the pharmacy. After I explained this, they put the pharmacist on the line. However, I have never before been treated with such dismissive, curt impatience by a pharmacist. Not a moment's consideration was given to considering a solution. Because I had not been informed there would be a significant charge for this item, I could not have refused to purchase it in the first instance. And, because my wife went to pick it up, she did not know the situation, and the pharmacy cannot accept a return. That is what it is. But the pharmacist was completely out of line in his treatment of my concerns, and he hung up on me. Needless to say, I'll find another drug store for my business. read more

I was publicly humiliated at this pharmacy! Steer clear unless you have megabucks. Though the employee who helped me was kind when a cost was quoted & I had a panic attack because of shock, & can't afford it, her supervisor (I assume) shamed me in front of a bunch of people! She loudly berated me, implying that I wasted 20 minutes "for which she must pay her worker and now eho will pay HER fir that?" She also implied that I came in INTENDING to get measured & then shop elsewhere. (Yeah, I love having panic attacks in public!) As I left I heard her lecturing her employer-- again, in front of people! It was SO inappropriate, and just cruel. In my opinion, one star is too much. read more

Bountiful Drug has amazing staff, great service, and a very knowledgeable friendly personal that genuily cares for you as a person and not only as a customer. I do ALL of my family's prescriptions needs at Bountiful Drug for years and have never had any issues problems or troubles. read more

Have been doing business with Bountiful, Drug for about 2 years and the people there have been really nice but a few situations that have occurred leads me to (as of today ) to take my business else where. I won't go into detail on the different problems that arose but it boils down to customer service and their not paying attention to detail when filling a prescription.They pride them self's on their have great customer service and as a independent Pharmacy they should have above and beyond customer service as they can't match chain pharmacy's price's . But customer service involves more then just saying Hello Mrs Jones and goodbye Mrs Jones, it's taken care of the customer especially when they have screwed up, then not taking the responsibility of the problem they caused and rectifying it to the customers satisfaction.
