Huge Target with a large grocery/viands section. Was in Salt Lake City for a week and needed some essentials. The store was clean and well organized and surprisingly (or maybe not so surprisingly) nicer overall than the ones in Maryland! I visited on a Monday during the day so there was plenty of surface parking, there were no crowds, the cashier was friendly and helpful, and they don't charge for plastic bags! read more

I hadn't been to target for years until recently again. Love their women's fitness and casual clothes. Britney in the dressing room area and Jessica at checkout were extra friendly and helpful today. They obviously like their jobs. Returns were easy, even for online purchases without a receipt. This store is organized and clean. There are many more parking spaces to charge electric cars and for pickup orders. read more

Horrible customer service. Went to pick up a 1 item order close to the pick up window of time for them to pick the order because I was driving through. A person named Briole was absolutely rude and said he/she refused to pick the order up and wouldn't help. I asked for the manager and they radioed the manager and made nasty comments about me. Said the manager was on lunch and didn't bring another; I asked for another one. The manager came over and said he wouldn't help either. Nobody was wearing nametags either. Had to ask the customer service rep for his/her name. Canceled pick up order and left. People who feel too entitled about not helping the customers shouldn't work in retail. read more

'Do you recommend target'?? YES. ALWAYS YES I love that you can order online and do a quick and easy pickup! So helpful when running errands or when you have kids in the car and don't want to get everyone out. Or when you are in a hurry and only need a few things! I love it. There is a Starbucks in this location and it's tempting not to stop there for a snack after shopping. Because who doesn't need a snack?! Shopping is hard work! ;) The bathrooms are clean and have a lot of stalls- always nice. read more

First I'd like to say I LOVE Target. While the store is usually clean , picked up and much of the time, the check out is disappointing. I'm at Target at 6:00 PM on Sunday. There is not ONE Register that is open. On a weekend evening. When I walked in I had planned on buying some larger items ( art , home decor ext) however after seeing not a single register open I decided I'll go somewhere else to buy larger items. The inconvenience of self checkout with larger items is simply NOT worth the hassle. Prices are going up and if I'm going to be paying more the least I'd expect is to have someone ring me up. I think I'm the future I will limit shopping at This Target until things get better. I used to work at Target about 15 years ago and customers always came first. Now profit comes first and customer satisfaction comes second. I also think of seniors who enjoy getting out of the house and go shopping only to try figure if out how in the heck to use the self check out and get frustrated. This target was nice. It's well stocked, and items were mainly tidy and well kept. I would definitely come back sometime. They could've had more checkstands open, probably in need of more holiday employees. The parking lot is really nice sized and there are a lot of good spots. The grocery section is decently organized and it was easy to find some things we were looking for. The prices are a bit higher than some other places. I really enjoy the bargain bins that have items ranging usually from $1-$5 about. They do have a Starbucks inside. I always love to check the end caps for clearance items. read more

This target is open late and it's the closest one to my house! It is closer than the last place I lived to, & I love living near a target. Something about how safe it makes you feel, ya know? Well, even if you don't.. target totally does that to me. I will be here no matter what to hit up the good deals which this target used to be called a super target and since they're remodeling everything it doesn't say that on it anymore but it clearly was..... it's MASSIVE! Every single time I call the call drops I've been looking for my Wallet and called 7 times with no answer.

Never never never buy a gift card from Target! And if you do, make absolutely sure that the activation code on the back of the gift card matches the code on the receipt. Buying gift cards makes me nervous. All too often, they somehow are not "activated." Most stores are aware of this problem, so when you take in your receipt, they will activate the questionable gift card(s). Except for massive, billion dollar Target with the high tech camera systems- they'll just take your money and accuse you of stealing the card! I bought my niece an iTunes gift card for her birthday because that is what she asked for. Target was an easy stop at the time, but what a massive mistake!  The nightmare began approximately a month after my niece's birthday when she tried to use the gift card.  The card said it was "not activated" and told her to take the card back to the store where it was purchased. On this particular night, I went with her and had the receipt in hand. At the customer service counter, we explained the situation. The 1st customer service agent asked another girl to help. The 2nd girl blamed iTunes and told us to call iTunes. Which we did and iTunes turned us back to the store. The 2nd customer service agent then got a manager who began to get angry. Eventually he told us to hang on and left, only to return with the loss prevention manager. The loss prevention manager proceeded to loudly explain (so the whole front portion of the store could hear) that I had gotten the gift card from their store but I had not paid for the gift card. She sent me away saying there was nothing she could do for me. I asked, "so I'm just out the $25?" Again she reiterated that I had taken the gift card without paying for it. Target loudly accused me of stealing a $25 iTunes gift card without bothering to look it up on their high tech surveillance system (in which they clearly have no faith) to see that I had paid for the gift card. I have now given this billion dollar company $50 for a $25 dollar iTunes gift card, and  my dignity. Since that day, I have not been able to find a single iTunes gift card for sale in any Target stores. This leads me to believe this was a common problem that forced them to pull iTunes gift cards from their shelves. The moral of the story: DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM TARGET! read more

Both hubby and I needed new glasses, we were here picking up some things and as we were leaving we noticed the Optical Department tucked away in the corner. We went to check the hours since they were getting ready to close. The young lady that was working said no problem come on in. We were just going to look real quick and then come back, but hubby found the frames he liked so Tania told us to just go ahead and order the glasses for him. She went out of her way to help us and even stayed overtime so we could get him fitted and she even helped him pick out some sunglasses too! Got a great deal too! He ended ip with 2 pairs for under $400.00, which was less then every were else for just one pair! Tania you deserve 5 stars for going above and beyond! read more

I don't often find myself in Centerville, but on the odd chance I'm here it's usually to hang out with a friend of mine that lives just down the road. We're outdoors buddies, and I'm usually picking him up to go hiking or camping or fishing. That's where Target comes in, and perhaps why I'm not more enthused about this place. Yes, it's Target and you've got the clothes and the home decor and all that stuff that I much prefer Target to its competition. But when it comes to the outdoors stuff, they're woefully deficient. I never learn my lesson, and I always try to pop in to pick up some last minute something I've forgotten--a water bottle, a food item--and they don't have it. I don't expect them to be an outdoors retailer (or, you know, I would just got to a sporting goods store) but I'm just noting my disappointment with everything else. Otherwise, they do have a nice selection of stuff in the other departments, and this location is convenient for when you need to drop by and pick something up. read more

This target is slowly going downhill. I don't know what is the cause but it always seems that shelves are empty or in disarray. I remember when this opened and it always felt clean and well stocked. Now it is hit and miss. Having young kids, we stop at the toy section at every store we visit. This target has one of the worst toy sections of the box stores on the area. This review is regarding the customer service desk. My boyfriend and I ordered a board game online for in-store pick up. We stood at the pick-up counter for about ten minutes without being acknowledged by a guy doing returns (at the adjacent counter) and another guy walking in and out past us. Finally he asked what we needed, and he got our order, although he didn't seem particularly glad to help us. We like shopping at Target in order to avoid the Walmart experience. But this left us feeling frustrated. Target manager, if you're listening, please train your employees to at least acknowledge us and let us know somebody will be with us shortly! read more

10/29/21 2:30pm Every single time I come into this store I always encounter friendly team members. I recently had to put my dog down, which was horrible of course. My other pup had an appt for grooming at PetSmart and to cheer myself up a bit I went over to Target. Bella in the dressing room area was so friendly, helpful and bubbly. Susanne (short red hair) was so sweet and helpful as well. When going over to customer service to see if the store manager was available to let them know how great their team is every single person there was just incredibly sweet, helpful and personable. I, like 99% of the U.S. population LOVE Target. This is the closest one to my new apartment, hence this is my new Target. But honestly, I really wish it wasn't. Every single other Target I have been to in the last ten years has gotten a face lift, except this one. Even the clearance Target in Taylorsville where items go to die is more upgraded than this one. The sinage in the electronics section is still displaying original Xbox controllers and Game Boy Advance SP's along with Walkman's. Walkman's are now three generations of technology behind now that we're all on the streaming bus. Luckily the sales people and the items are still here and that's the main reason I love Target, but it needs some new shiny love to make it at least on par with the Wal-Mart across the road. read more

Horrible Horrible!!!!!By far, the worst customer service I've ever experienced at centerville Utah, HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Bradley was our photographer and although his photography skills were sub-par, he was at least professional. Courtney and Amanda were the tenders who helped after the session. They were rude during the photo selection process and kept doing things that we didn't ask for, so we didn't understand what was going on. Courtney and Amanda were so unprofessional, they were even snickering, laughing, and making fun of my family during the photo shoot. Bradley even stopped, turned around and asked why they were laughing. And instead of being helpful during the photo selection process, the two girls were rude and kicked out my family saying they had to attend the next session. Furthermore, when I called thr studio to speak to a manager the next day, I spoke with an employee who said she was too busy to help me because she had another client. She did say she would call me back after her session to assist me. I asked for the manager, she said no manager was in. I asked for the manager's number and she rudely gave it to me. She then hung up abruptly after giving me the number. I called the manager and nobody answered. I left a message, and after waiting for over four hours... I finally called Target corporate since the Centerville Target never responded back. Highly unprofessional. read more

Stopped here on my way to a baby shower in Ogden to pick up a card and gift bag. It was nice that they were right by the door, so I only saw the very front of the store. Of course had to browse the $1 items quickly. It's a super convenient location, pretty close right off of the freeway, so was the ideal place for the emergency stop. Seems like a clean new store. This is my Target of choice. New, clean and never crowded. I go here a lot, and shop now in Centerville where life seems easier, than shopping in my usual downtown haunts. I would give 5 stars, but this last visit i was a little disappointed. It was a snowy, blizzardy sunday night and i think there was myself and one other person in the store. it was funny, coz all the clerks throughout the store seemed chatty, they were obviously bored. i had a large cart of groceries, and i was checked out quicKly, but as soon as she checked me out, the clerk just turned around and walked away, leaving all the bags just sitting on the check-out counter. no help in loading up my cart, no offer to help me out to my car with all these tons of bags and boxes. she just strolled right over to finish chatting with the other bored clerks in the little "clerk circle". I was not impressed. Every grocery store I've ever gone in (except Walmart and Costco and even they load up most times) loads your purchases into your cart and I get an offer to help me into the car with all the stuff. I really could've used the help this time. It was awful out there, probably why she didn't offer any help. Service really makes a difference to me, especially when I'm one of 2 people in the store, and there's some 15 clerks doing nothing. read more

Normally I love target but when their ENTIRE selection of non dairy ice cream is sold out or not stocked that is unacceptable. I don't have time to drive all over trying to find something for the food allergies we deal with. I'll stick with Natural Grocers from here on out because at least I know their grocery manager knows how to do their job and keep inventory in stock. read more

Yuck! I hate the remodels that Target has done. There's just too much store and it feels more like shopping at Wal-mart. I like how they have the price scan machines that tell you where things are. However, there is no map and the aisle layout doesn't go in complete alphabetic order so even once you know where something is, it is impossible to find. I couldn't find my Garnier Whole Oats Conditioner and there was not even a place on the shelf for it. The website just says it's out of stock in Centerville so there should at least be a shelf spot. There was lots of items on the shelves that lacked prices which was incredibly irritating. The car care section was almost non-existent. They had a few items but it was an afterthought back wall section of a few snow scrapers and some engine oil. The Halloween section was all askew and most of the candy was in the wrong place, including complete sections of candy that had labels for other items. I understand people put things in different spots when they put things back without buying (obnoxious but common), but a whole section mis-labeled?! That's all on the store. I don't think I'll be returning to this store. read more

I have shopped at the Target Pharmacy in Centerville, Utah the better part of 10 years. The medications are the same, some are cheaper and if the Target price is more expensive they will match the price of the pharmacy that is lebhcss expensive. I don't shop there for that reason. I shop there because of the outstanding customer service that I am always greeted with. The pharmacists, (Josh, Brady, etc. and the pharmacy techniicians, Danny, Hollly, etc.) treat me not only as a valued customer, but also as a friend. They call me by my first name and typically, I don't even have to mention my name before they begin to turn around and look through the filled perscriptions before I even mention my name. I go out of my way to get all of my prescriptions at the Target in Centerville and I can't tell you how much I appreciate their service. read more

Centerville Target has changed dramatically. Mostly good. The pharmacy is the absolute worst!

This is my neighborhood Target store. Most the time if I am looking for something I look here first. The store is always clean and is well lit so I can see whats for sale. Nothing worse then going into a dark store. My brother used to work here several years back and so I have stayed with this store since. They have a very good selection of products from all the major brands and they are easy to locate. The store brand products are also very good. I have never bought a store brand item here that I have been unhappy about. There are even a few things that I buy at only at Target and they are store brand items and in my opinion better than the name brand products. read more

The manager was very hurried to take my passport photo because she needed to deal with interviewees. She even did not allow me to see the digital photo. My final photo is terrible. I did not realize there is one hair on my face until I checked it at home but at that time she still took the photo. The service makes me disappointed. Never will I go there. read more

I've only shopped at this Target store (#1755) once and it will likely be the last time. Recently I inquired at a nearby Layton, UT Target store as to the availability of a specific brand/size of Wrangler jeans recently advertised on sale. After asking the Layton, UT, personnel they responded by saying the Centerville, UT, store had the jeans I was in search of. Later that day I phoned the Centerville store to request the jeans be left at the CS counter for pickup. I was then informed by two different Target employees, at that store, the size and style of jeans I had inquired about (after offering the item's SKU number) was not available. As a matter of fact one so-called customer "Service" Rep named "Iomaria" informed me that, "There were no gray Wrangler Jeans sold at their store". Afterward I was compelled to order the merchandise from Target's website although the correct in-seam size was unavailable. We had decided to have them hemmed after delivery. After placing the order via the Internet, on the following day we had unrelated business in Centerville so we drove from Layton and, on a curious whim, we decided to stop by the Target store to verify what we had been previously told. To our dismay...not only were we able to find the correct size/style jeans we had earlier inquired about but also noticed that store had SEVERAL types of "gray" Wrangler jeans on display contrary to what we had been told the previous evening. Needless to say we complained to the store's self-proclaimed assistant manager and suggested she should either offer their SERVICE staff instructions on how to professionally assist a potential customer - by mandating those in question receive some Special High Intensity Training (aka S-H-I-T) - or acquaint them with the specifics on how to apply for and complete unemployment applications. During this instance this store's Customer Service personnel failed to competently and willingly assist the public in a concerning manner. They also had to be verbally reminded of the importance of announcing their name when taking a call. They clearly reflected great discredit toward the self conscience team of professionals that Target stores have labored to establish and preserve a reputation for providing to the public. read more

Target is almost always my store for major shopping. The Centerville location is the closest to me, which might give you a hint as to why I have so many check-ins here! I have always loved Target, even more so now that I have the ankle biters to clothe and entertain. We get a free kids cookie from the bakery, have photos taken at the portrait studio, get awesome deals on everything from diapers, clothes, toys and books. While their grocery section is sorta limited, I can pretty much find everything I need including a good selection of vegetarian/vegan frozen foods. I also think the employees in this section of the store are the best they have. From the sweet little sample ladies to the produce dude who looks like he belongs on Sons of Anarchy, the grocery department has the friendliest people around. I also enjoy Target's seasonal items, the brands and designers they feature, and the awesome clearance sections located throughout the store. While this particular location might seem limited in some areas, I almost always find what I need. read more

I just left this Centerville Target with the crappiest customer service ever so I got on to Yelp to see if anyone else has received the same treatment as myself... Sure enough I ran across a review on a "Tessa" the same cashier I had to deal with today. She was rude, argumentative and I could not believe how she treated people including myself.
