So when I say this, I say this in the best way... To me, Lost and Found seems like someone with a very good eye for things, in every possible realm, and just kept collecting and collecting over the years. At one point, this collector realized they had too much stuff and started a store. That's the way I imagine it, at least. Lost & Found, to me, is not "Thrift" as most of us know it. It's pure collectibles and antiques. The store is a labyrinth. It spans from the disorganized mishmash that is a picker's dream to the retro furniture that's a hipster's dream to a collector who doesn't know what he wants 'til he finds it dream come true. There are places where you'll have to climb around the stuff and twists and turns that'll take you to surprising collections. Here are a couple of areas that really caught my eye... Collector's cards: Not just the old faves like baseball and football. I have never seen New Kids on the Block trading cards before (not that I wanted to) and, yes indeed, Hustler trading cards (I would've liked these better back in the days I was dissing New Kids). The kitchen collectibles are incredible: REALLY old Jellos and other food boxes, molds, coffee makers, teapots, juice squeezes, blenders, candy jars, cookie jars, and the rest. The magazines! What a variety! Vintage Playboy, Life, Redbook, Time, Sports Illustrated, People, TV Guides, and the rest. There's just so much stuff I can't tell you about it all. NOT WORTH IT!!!! At first it looks like a nice place. Some hidden treasures and interesting things. But then you start looking at the prices. Everything is so over priced it's ridiculous!!! And it's not expensive because it's a nice vintage piece, it's just because they want more money. I saw a small mirror that was dirty, didn't fit in the frame, and has a ton of old rusted nails on the back. I thought the frame was cute enough it be 10 dollars, when I asked for the price, the told me 30!! Absolutely not. There was something else that was beat up and sitting outside for who knows how long. Something I could have payed 30 dollars for, maximum, and they told me it was 75 dollars! I also included a picture of something I found outside they were trying to sell for 24 dollars. Nothing is quality and they are charging WAY to much for it. What a shame. read more

The couple that own this are nice and I have picked up a few good things from them over the years, but the shop is a bit of a mess. I guess it has its charm, but if I shop at a hand-picked vintage store, I prefer my items to be cleaned up a little and not necessarily stuffed in with countless other items. I have been to this store twice, interested in antique glass. Both time I have went they have about 40% of items marked, and the glass is poorly displayed and chipped but the worst part is you have to ask Them the price, then they mark it way up. $15-30 Dollars for a $5 dollar piece, and you ask Yourself, why are they not trying to get rid of the glass since no one buys it and it's piling up in the corner?? Then both times I have said "I'll think about it" Then they say "did you have a price in mind" I say a fair price, then they have said both times I have visited a year apart "JUST SO YOU'RE AWARE NOtHING IS DONATED" which basically means - hey you cheap skate, give us more money for our item. Then she even said about 5 minutes later "can I help you find a cheaper item more in your price range" in a sarcastic tone basically calling me poor. Won't be going back. read more

all i can say is, don't buy pokémon cards here. bought a pack and they were all fake. combined e series, pokemon go, and and xy. lots of the cards were flipped over inside the pack. wish i hadn't bought/: had some cute furniture, but i absolutely won't be returning to support a store that sells fakes. read more

This.... is NOT a Thrift Store. Why they call it a Thrift Store is beyond me. Thrift Stores are places you can buy used items at a reasonable value... like $5 shoes or a $.25 cup. This.... is a Vintage and Antique Store. Walk right in and there's steamer trunks and dressers at $100 and up. Can I also say the place is so cluttered and messy you're afraid to walk around, in case you might break something? If they called it what it IS and perhaps organized the space (rather than it looking like a vintage bomb exploded) then I might go three or four stars. We stumbled across this shop one sultry afternoon last July during the Handcart Days parade. It is a treasure trove of vintage toys, signs, furniture, and dishes. Our first visit yielded a selection of cast iron frying pans. We loved it so much we went in again the same day and ended up with even more treasures. On our last trip we came away with more awesome stuff, including a sturdy little children's chair for $10. The owner seems to sell items in the condition she finds them in, but displays them with a print out of ideas to spruce it up from Pinterest. I love getting inspired this way. I haven't seen it done at other places I frequent. This is a fun place on an obscure side street in Bountiful, but worth your while if you are into the whole thrift/up cycling/vintage thing. It's not a thrift store, that's for sure. But we went because we wanted to see an antique shop, and that sure is what this is. It feels like a hoarders house. There's old stuff everywhere. Some really is antiques, but it seems more like old junk that someone didn't want to trash. Some of it looks like it came straight from the DI. The biggest drawback is that there were random pieces of porn in random places. I went because I wanted to see classy, old items. Not trashy old items. read more

Talk about a hidden gem! I stopped by this place just to kill time and instantly fell in love with this place. They have so many amazing items, it's a true collection. The owners are also the nicest people I have met in a long time. You will have a good time just going to chit chat with them. Antique shopping is one of my favorite things to do and this place is probably one of the best (if not the best)/ my favorite from Logan to Draper. I live near this shop, it's most definitely not a thrift store, it's a messy vintage/antique store and the prices reflect that. As much as I like a friendly owner, it's impossible to shop when he's yakking up a storm, I felt trapped inside having to listen to his stories and was relieved when another couple came in so I could leave. read more

Every year I make the trip to Utah for the Sundance festival. Every year I bring an extra suitcase and make sure I hit this place up before I leave. I have found so many amazing treasures. I feel like a kid in a candy store in comparison to the picked over, grossly overpriced shops where I am from in the bay area. It's not a place you go to looking for plastic cups and used clothing (unless you like vintage pin up ) The couple that run the store are amazing and seem to really care about every customer.
