Thrift, don't support predatory businesses like this. I feel that "Shop Vintage" is exploitative because they seriously jack up the prices of clothing. It's really gross that scalpers are swooping in to the thrift stores and buying up these clothes (for pennies on the dollar) so the people they were intended for can no longer afford them at a reasonable price. Yes, our donation centers have tons of "clothes", but a lot of that's fast-fashion synthetic garbage. It had no intention of longevity, whereas these textiles are valuable, which is exactly why this company continues to snatch these things up to resell at a premium. If you're fine with predatory practices, no one's stopping you from shopping here. I'd personally recommend popping in to thrift stores like the DI, where a vast majority of these clothes were donated in the first place. :( ** Edited to add, per their comment attached to my review: They claim their "clothing is sourced from 'wholesale warehouses' out of state that gather unsold donations." That string of buzzwords sounds nice, but in reality anything they buy was a previously "unsold donation", and them jacking up $5 jeans to a sickening $72 is not limited to state lines. They're up-charging and if you're fine with being scalped, and willing to pay ridiculous prices, then take my review with a grain of salt. This is just my 2¢...donate to thrift stores so people in need can reuse. It is disgraceful that the donation/thrifting cycle has become gentrified.

A 4.4 rating, that's laughable! Today, I took a trip down to this store to pickup a shipment from…read moreWish. Keep in mind, the packages have been there since April 8th. The name of this place is called, "Crazy ladies" and that best describes the staff. I enter, there is one woman sitting on the floor, NO mask (violating Salt Lake County mask mandate. I inform her that I'm there to pick up packages from Wish. She is clearly flustered and mutters something about her phone not working, the application crashed her phone and that she has to use the tablet. She told me she would get to me in a minute, no one else is in the building but two staff members buried in a landfill of used merchandise in the back. The girl behind the counter, the Daughter of the owner continues to tell me her life story. I didn't ask, she just unloaded her emotional vomit. She started with how unorganized this shop is, how difficult these Wish orders are to organize. She then tells me that she's having a hard time in life, she just got out of mental rehabilitation center. She cut off two toxic friends, one was her Ex and he told her she was going to Hell. He's the reason that she ended up locked up. Don't forget her story about some Barbie clothes she ordered from Wish and how they were too small, the torso was too high and the bow fell off a dress she ordered, it was only glued on. Y'all, I haven't said a word, I couldn't get a word in even if I wanted too! I am trying to be patient, I offer to help her find them. It's now been 20 minutes and this female is about to have another breakdown. She has divulged all of this personal information, as I'm standing there, WITHOUT my packages. I asked her if she was working alone, she said two other people were in the back. I have now put my sunglasses on, I see a male and a female in the backroom. I kindly inform them that girl up front is having yet another mental breakdown. The girl in the back said something snotty, I told her to get moving, I'm in a hurry! I walk back up front, the girl is in tears, has her Mother (the shop owner) on speaker phone. The two other employees have now come up front and tell me they're calling the cops. I laughed and then gave them the number to SLC dispatch from memory. I didn't threaten anyone, all I was there for was to pick up my purchase. Anyway, I leave and I'm not even to my car yet and I receive a message from Wish that my order can't be delivered and will be refunded. Are you serious? You couldn't do your job, look in the bin with the J on it and find my items? Yet, you can report that they can't be delivered? This place is the most dysfunctional, overly emotional, filthy location that fits perfectly on 300 West and 1200 South. STAY FAR FROM THIS PLACE, if for no other reason that you're sanity. These people are exactly what makes this World a complete failure. Since it won't allow me to reply to the owners ridiculously inaccurate assessments of today's event. I have never been to this store before, as she attempts to bash my character, now that's slander. NEVER, did I say that I would not get in trouble. I know the law and I didn't break it. Second, It is beyond hilarious, that the front agent couldn't hold her composure long enough to figure out how to do her own job! This place is white trash at the core! Oh and dear, I am the Daughter of a Cop, of there was an issue, they would have been there! Lol! For future reference that number is 801-799-3000 (one again by memory, check the tape and recording! Oh and I didn't walk in the back, I pulled back a curtain and interrupted more family members that were slacking off. Care to prove me wrong, post that video, post the recording, call the police and I'll share my photos, video and recording! Go ahead, we'll all wait!! Lol! I have no intention of setting foot back in that garbage can. As for your "associates" they CLEARLY have issues. She held the tablet in her hands the ENTIRE time! When I walked in, she was on the floor, tablet in hand, NO MASK! I love that you responded, everyone sees it now!

Don't get me wrong, there are certainly amazing deals to be had here. The selection is overall in…read morepretty good shape and well organized. The glaring problem is with the people they have working on the floor and at the registers, at least the few I came in contact with. I understand it's a charity shop, and most of the workers are volunteers, but these are not sweet retirees trying to help out the less fortunate while earning their way to heaven. These are mentally challenged crackheads who appear to be bitterly paying their court-appointed debt to society while desperately wishing they were anywhere else. I found an item I really wanted, but it had no tag so I took it to the register to show an employee and ask the price. She ripped it out of my hand, looked at me with a scowl, said "No", then turned and walked away. I was so shocked by her rudeness I stood there with my jaw dropped not really understanding what was going on. I guess they don't re-tag items without them going back through the inventory process, and maybe she thought I was trying to scam them for a lower price or something, but she could've just F-ING said that without treating me like an asshole and leaving me standing there. Then, after I had been shopping for two hours, and had a cart with a handful of clothes I'd meticulously assessed one by one for any damage, I left my cart in an open area, off to the side and out of the way, while I picked through some narrow aisles. I came back several minutes later and my cart was gone. I asked a worker about it. She looked at me with a stupefied face and said all of my things had been put away. It's not like I left it for an hour. WTF are these people even doing? I was so pissed, I hung the few things I had in my hands on the nearest rack and walked out. I felt like an ass for leaving her standing there, but I didn't want to scream at the poor crackhead's stupid face. This is just one experience, but I think you'll do yourself a solid to not ask any questions, and be sure to keep a hand on your cart at all times, if you decide to shop here.
