Every once in a while, you're lucky enough to stumble upon a gem that brings a smile to your face…read more Well, I stumbled on a whole shop full of gems and the smiles just keep coming as I think of my experience. The shop is an old house that has been repurposed into a fantastic space that exudes positive energy. I visited recently and was looking for something special for my best friend, who is a collector of stones and gems. I am not well-versed in stones, but I knew I wanted something that would signify our friendship/sisterhood. A lovely staff member jumped into action and curated a sampling of options for me to choose from. I was so grateful for their efforts to help me find just the right gift, and I fell in love with one of them-a watermelon tourmaline. They offered gift wrap options and made sure it was ready for my friend to love. While I was there, I interacted with a couple different staff members and they were so welcoming and helpful. I would love to spend hours in here, even just taking in all the good vibes and energy. I'll certainly be back when I need a power boost.

This is hands down, my favorite metaphysical shop in the valley. I love the remodel that happened a few years ago now. The back rooms opened up for more shop space filled with cards and other mindful gifts. They still have a range of crystals from tumbles to more rare and expensive pieces (ohhhhhh, one day I'll collect those rarer pieces). I do miss the dove who was their singing shop keeper. I love coming out to Turiya's... it's always a treat!

I thought Utah would be a good place to find Crystal/stone bracelets and this place hit the spot…read more They have so many to choose from. I also liked that they offered them in a variety of sizes when it came to the stones, as well as the bracelets slightly varied in size and were on an expandable type cord. The guy and girl working were so nice and inviting. The other crystals that they have in the cases are cool too and I'll definitely be back. The prices also were great and they offer a rewards type program, where when you spend $10, you get a stamp. And after 10 stamps, you get 15% off your entire order/purchase. I definitely recommend if you're looking for crystals of any sort. I will definitely be back whenever I come to visit my friend.

I used GPS to get to Healing Mountain Crystal Company, and upon arrival, noted plenty of signage…read morefor the massage school, but nothing about "Crystal Company." Additionally, it feels as though the entrance should be on the side of the building facing 500 E, but it is on the back, facing east. Lastly, I parked in the lot for Walgreens, not realizing it was separated from Healing Mountain. All this conspired to make me doubt the existence, or at least the ease of accessing the crystal shop, but I was here, and would not be deterred! After entering the glass-front entrance, take the stairs almost directly in front of you, but slightly to the right, up to the next level, and open the door immediately on the right. This brings you in to the massage school, but, once more, turn right to reach the single room for the crystal store. It is quite small, just a bit of center shelving, then shelves lining all the walls, but they've fit a good deal of stuff in here! Beyond the expected, they also had jewelry, water bottles, décor, and soap. There are bowls of tumbled rocks and gemstones for just a $1 to a few dollars apiece: a great option for kids. For the gemstones themselves, a few are loose, but most are behind glass in cases, which I learned you can open via the door on the right (are you sensing a trend here?) side of each. They have labels with colored dots corresponding to the same color price tags, so you can read about each crystal and its effects. Again, for such a tiny shop, they truly have a lot to offer! Plenty of standards, but also less common finds, and all priced very reasonably. When selecting a crystal, I believe you have to simply wander about and see what calls to you. I've always had a soft spot for selenite, and they had a very cool sort of flat wand that I found beautiful, but it just didn't feel like what I needed. I kept looking, and came across some fiery Vanadinite specimens, one in particular quite large with rusty red crystal formations popping out of a sandy orange stone. There it was! I also picked up a stunning, super vibrant cobalt azurite as a gift, then I was ready to go! Checkout is at the front desk for the massage school. They carefully wrapped my two delicate crystals in tissue paper, then nestled them in a small paper bag. A discount card is available, and after spending $100, you get 15% off. It's a nice bonus, and generous, as they are one of the lower priced crystal shops in the area. The employees in both the gem area, and the one who took my payment, were friendly. And let's return to the school for a moment: You may as well spend a few hours here, and treat yourself to a massage or other treatment. They offer many additional therapies, Reiki cleansing and all sorts of cool stuff!

There is wheelchair accessibility into the building, but I don't think there is for the upper floors unfortunately. For a few years now, I've been trying to resolve some emotional turned physical pain that has become evermore problematic. I get 2 hr massages every 3-4 weeks which has helped a bit. I was a bit skeptical at first bc I'm unfamiliar with alternative medicine but have always been curious. With the mass improvements I've seen with just one appt with Chad were pretty life changing; I'm now a firm believer and will probably switch from traditional massage to massage healing with Crystal Healer! No wonder he got Best of SLC!! My neck pain and hump are gone, my body feels less rigid, I slept great (which is really rare), I had more energy but man was my body fatigued. That's when you know you got some good work done lol. I had a big ol hump at the base of my neck and he got it out! I've had over a dozen massages now and not one has been able or even really focused on it, so I'm really impressed with Chad's attentiveness. Chad was so patient, kind, professional, and all the other good stuff one could say about a healer! He made sure I was comfortable, I could ask questions, and he asked multiple times if there were any other issues I wanted to him to go back to. He also showed me things I can do at home to help with my hip and rib pain! I'm interested in scheduling a hypnotherapy session, so hopefully that review is forthcoming haha. Thank you Chad for creating such a wonderful space for clients and I'll be seeing you real soon!! :)
