In my experience, their prices have consistently been better than what I've found online once you factor in premiums, shipping, and waiting. The staff actually knows what they're talking about and takes the time to explain things without pressure or sales games. Everything feels straightforward and transparent, which matters a lot when you're buying precious metals. If you're serious about gold and silver and want fair pricing with real inventory you can see in person, this place is absolutely worth visiting

I realized the time of day and that they may be closed. The owner had someone inside and mouthed for me to text or call. I found his number on the front door and did as he asked, not noticing "by appointment only." Idk, put "by appointment only" on your marquee sign. As I finished texting him, he saw someone he knew walking by his shop. He unlocked and opened the door, speaking with her and ignoring me. It struck me as an odd first interaction, turning me off. I almost turned around and left, which would have been a better choice than to stay and ask a question. When they were finished chatting, he asked what I needed and told me to make it quick. I said I was looking for a gift, and he responded by telling me he had no inventory. ‍ ‍ It was such an odd experience. Below is our text exchange; I'm not going to post a picture of the present I bought. Reading other reviews he either is nice or a complete unsavory business owner. Yelps information indicates they take walk ins. I'm so glad I didn't give him my business and never will.

They have a nice collection of polished and cut stones and minerals including cute tiny pieces that you can fill into a custom bottle, small pieces the size of dice, and larger cut pieces in various shapes and colors. They also have jewelry including rings, necklaces and I think they had earrings too. I got a beautiful ring for a fair price and they included a card with a description of the qualities of the stone and it came in a cute little paper bag with their logo which I intend on repurposing as a bookmark! The shopkeeper was personable and helpful and she has mobile pay and paperless receipts which is convenient. Overall a great little shop and perfect to get a thoughtful gift for someone or for yourself!

I took my Montana Sapphire necklace into what was Gines Jewelry, same owners as Salt Lake City…read moreDiamonds, for a repair to the chain. Aaron switched the 3 quality Sapphires for very poor quality. They admitted they get their own Sapphires from Montana and facet them, which means they cut the stones themselves. Which only proves that they will facet poor quality Sapphire stones, and than switch them when they see quality ones. I could tell they had been switched because the middle one was a little bit of a different color and when I picked up the necklace they were all the same color. Do not trust this store. In my experience when a company starts change their name it normally is because they are not a good company, and I know for a fact this company is bad.
