While having some work done on my car on Wednesday I headed over to Macey's. I ordered a chicken tender meal in the deli for $3.99, the employee I interacted with was great! I also ordered something from Beans and Brews which is inside too. The girls working there were great and nice when I asked if we could add some coconut flavor! My drink was good! I spent a while in the deli- seating area and it was clean and quiet. Not awesome for long term as the chairs are completely metal. read more

It's just not the most convenient grocery store to me, and not the most convenient location should I decide I need to go to Macey's, but sometimes you go off in search of a particular item and find yourself in several Macey's over the course of an afternoon. Such was a sunny afternoon not long ago when I came in search of pickling cucumbers, which, apparently, no one really carries. Not even Macey's, which had them on sale but not in stock, not even in one of the three stores I visited that day. Now I do want to give credit where credit is due--they are really working on their stores, freshening up the signage, and trying to dress things up a bit. And they don't seem to be sacrificing prices too much to do it, so overall I'd say it's above the Ream's of the world, but not quite of the level of the Smith's, and a far cry from the fancy-pants Harmons. It's a utilitarian kind of place, but now with a little more softness around the edges. However, in the end, if I don't ever feel a need to go here, and when I do they don't have what I was looking for, I'm not sure it rates too highly in my hierarchy of grocers. read more

My review is for Macey's online ordering service, which I tried out for the first time this week. I usually don't shop here, but wanted to give it a try-and I'm glad I did. It's so nice to order my groceries from the comfort of my home and pick them up the next day-it sure makes my life easier! The online ordering was not too difficult, but the check out was a little tricky. It took a few times for the page to load properly and allow me to select a pickup day and time. But once it worked, it was great. My order was complete and accurate. I received a text early in the day asking if they could substitute an item that was out of stock. I appreciated that. When I arrived to pick up my order, I just called and gave them my order number and it was brought, and loaded, to my car in a few minutes. I learned that Macey's carries some items that my regular store does not. So I'll probably place more orders in the future. Or I may just park my car and walk my rear-end into the store and get them myself. We'll see. read more

I tried ordering online with the Rosie app. What a joke. It took forever, and I had to log in a couple of times. It never shows you what the store is actually charging you, but an "estimate". It turns out the app doesn't take off loyalty reward coupons with your shopper ID card. I called the store they said the would refund me. 2 weeks later nothing, I filled out their online customer support and have received no reply, BUT they did find the time to say how sorry they were on another review. DO NOT SHOP THEIR ONLINE APP. IT'S HORRIBLE AND BASICALLY STEALS FROM YOU. read more

I usually spend about 2-5$k of my money here, but tonight will be the last night that I will be shopping with you. Tonight, I went to get some items from the W Jordan store. On the way out my wife asked me to get some peppermint ice cream bars. Because my wife and I had been in a car accident she had already gone out to the car. I made a best guess between fatboy peppermint sandwich's and the ones on a stick. When I got 5 feet out the doorway I asked my wife if this was the right one's. She said No, she wanted the sticks. I came back into the store and asked the lady who was manning the checkout station about returning the sandwiches for the bars. She referred me to someone else I assume was a stocker in a cap. Because there was a price difference between the sandwiches and the bars I had to go to the customer service desk. The sandwiches were more expensive. Behind the customer service desk was a heavy set lady apparently having a bad night. I assume she was the store manager. I presented the receipt to her and she told me that because the item had left the store they would no longer accept it. I said I walked 5 feet out of the door with it and she said we can't return it. Then she proceeded to ignore me. I then went over to the two people who had helped me before and told them that because I had walked 5 feet out of the store she would not return it. They both glared over at the customer service lady and I could tell that neither of them really cared for the woman. I am really disappointed both with the fact that I could have gone without this incident tonight and the fact that the way we were treated. You've lost my business for good and I intend to share this story with others. Really disappointed. You can take your kong cone and shove it where the sun don't shine. read more

Macy's is expensive, but I like their products, so I stop in here on occasion. Not much of a variety on their produce, but good quality. They are now open on Sundays, and offer curbside shopping. They don't give bag credits and offer plastic and paper bags. I bring my own bags anyway. It's my way of helping our planet. read more

I love Macey's soooo much. A big reason is the gigantic ice cream cones for hardly any money. I get the baby size for a few cents and it's ridiculous. I love it when they have case lot sales here. They have a great selection of food storage items and it's my go-to for buckets and special lids to store stuff, too. read more

I have not actually stepped inside of this Macey's location, however, I have been ordering my groceries for curbside pick up from this location for months due to COVID, and they do a wonderful job. Sometimes they are out of items I have ordered, but they always do their best reach out to me via text in order to substitute with an alternative item I'd like. Otherwise, their online system, and curbside pick up system work amazing, and honestly, I don't think that I'll ever go back to actual inside-the-store grocery shopping, even after the pandemic is over. read more

Your "Guest Services" sucks. You don't offer cash loading onto pre-paid cards (nor do you sell them) And you require the bill stub to make a utility payment (I mentioned I have my acct number and amount due) Your location is much closer to my house but I will forever drive out of my way to remain a loyal customer to Smiths Marketplace. They offer all of these services, no problem (They sell reloadable cards, they take payments on reloadable cards and they take utility payments with just the acct number) Also you should find someone a little less condescending and a little more knowledgeable than the lady working in "Guest Services" today Thurs. I recently tried the online grocery shopping that they are advertising. They have some great prices to entice you to try their service. Unfortunately after making a purchase and my credit card being charged I was sent a text message from an employees personal cell phone and informed they would not honor the online sale price. It's a grocery store, but what brings people (especially families) in droves is the deli. Their diabetes-in-a-cone (or cup) is a spectacular site to see! You will marvel at the 12" cone being devoured by children, and adults! The price of these Kong cones are a blast from the past! Go here, get a cone, you won't regret it! Only your body will! This is a great grocery store. Super friendly and inviting with an easy layout to navigate. When I think of a neighborhood grocery store, it's Maceys that comes to mind. Live music during the holidays, super friendly staff, smarties for the kids at checkout, good weekly sales, scones on Saturdays, excellent produce and food selections. read more

This store is clean and the employees are friendly. They have a great deal on soda sometimes. They do have a loyalty type card as well. I went there initially for the soda deal they had but I spent a good deal of time doing some price checking to see if my regular store or Macey's had a better deal overall, and Macey's prices are the same for the most part but there are a lot of things that are a bit more expensive here. read more

My review is for the pharmacy portion of the store. Awful pricing for people without insurance. They do not except the good RX card which is ridiculous as every other pharmacy does. They have been charging me $64 for my prescription. Sometimes it has been as low as $38 though. They change it on a monthly basis. I know that prescription pricing changes all the time but in this case it depends on the employee working. The pharmacist peter is a really nice guy And he is the one that gives me the lower pricing. But the other pharmacist male that appears to be in his mid40s is a jerk. Not because he won't give me the lower price, but because he tries to lie and say they only have one of the other generic brands and not the specific manufacturer of the generic brand I usually get. But when I get the pill and look it up it is the exact same as the one I get every single month (the pills have been different before, but I was never charged any of those times). Different manufacturers make The same generic pill. So basically that is the spin off they are trying to use, but I can tell when it is a different pill because it is a different shape with different writing on it. It just depends on what mood they are in. Costco excepts the good RX card and a price for the same prescription is $26 (consistently!)I feel like an a$$ hole for paying 60 to them Continuously when I could have been getting it for less than half for the last several years I've been on the medication. What's the most offensive is I've been a customer of theirs for about 10 years. I've always had insurance but recently got a different job which doesn't offer it at all. Therefore forcing me to pay full cash price and they just take advantage. A lot of you might be saying that, well that is just the cost.... but I kid you not on a monthly basis it fluctuates 40 to 50% in price. No prescription fluctuates that much every single month. Who would have thought that a grocery store could make a donut that is off the chain?? I actually went there to pick up a few items and donuts were not on my list. My mistake, and a good mistake it was! I was passing by the bakery and spotted the tempting array of fresh and inviting donuts. Every tray was lined with many lucious donuts of all varieties. Ok, I'm boring and went with the glazed and maple bar. I sped home and paired it up with a K-cup of hot coffee. I was in pastry paradise. Whoever the baker is gets kudos for making the freshest and best tasting donut I have had in a long time, and trust me, a good donut is my weakness. I can't vouch for all Macey stores, but this location has me planning my next trip back, and its going to be sooner than later. read more

I really like Macey's! The store seems clean, and it isn't Walmart (YAY!). My all time favorite thing to get from Maycey's are their Kong Kones. The ladies at the deli are always nice, and one of them even remembers me as the Kong Kone Lady. They fill a 24oz cup (I think) with your choice of chocolate or vanilla ice cream, then make another ice cream cone and put it on top of your cup. I don't even want to know the calorie information on this delicious treat. I go to Macey's with my mom a lot, and I love to order a Kong Kone and walk around while we shop to make little kids jealous. It's immature, but I love to think "Haha! My mom loves me more than yours does!" even though I'm a fully grown adult and bought the Kong Kone myself. read more

Very disappointed in their meats especially their hamburger. Out of the last 5 times I have bought hamburger there, 4 times the meat was covered with fresh and the hamburger underneath was brown and gross. Needless to say I will not be buying my meat there anymore. Have shared this with others and found they have had similar experiences. read more
