I don't know what kind of biological warfare experiment Walmart is running in their bathrooms, but it needs to stop. The smell hit me halfway down the aisle like a physical slap. The floor was so sticky I'm pretty sure I gained a few inches in height just walking in. One stall door didn't lock, another looked like it had survived a bear attack, and there was toilet paper... everywhere but the dispenser. The sink area? A tragic scene. Soap dispenser empty, paper towels gone, and a mysterious puddle that could have been water... or maybe something else I don't want to think about. Made an appointment for an oil change on my vehicle. When I brought it in I was asked what year and engine but was informed that Walmart wasn't able to do an oil change on that engine because they had to suck the oil out the dip stick and can't do it on that engine. 07/19/2025 Went to Walmart at 3701 E Calumet st Appleton WI Went up to customer service and before purchasing item, told them what i was looking for. I had to pay a bill with a credit card. Told the guy I spoke with that only needed this card to make a payment one time and that I needed a pre-paid visa type of card. Also asked him what all the fees would be just to cover this one bill i needed to pay. Asked all this information up front before purchase. After he sold me a Money card I left and got into my car to try and activate card. I was told the card would be active or I would have to call number on back of card to activate. Tried both with no luck. Then went back to customer service told them I could not get card to activate. Asked for help as the RUDE customer service department just tried to make it my fault. Asked for help from this Walmart product no one had any answers. Then asked for my money back as they sold me a product that would not work for what I was looking for. Even though I asked all the right questions before purchasing, they still sold me the wrong product. I then attempted to go online in store to activate card only to find out that the money card is a bank account and they start asking you for all your personal information. SS# birthdate etc. and this was just supposed to be a pre-paid credit card. Customer service was rude and un - professional. Then asked to talk to store manager when he came up, he was just as rude and condescending as the staff working the customer service desk. He continued to blame me as if this was my fault even though i asked all kinds of questions before buying. I had also asked the acting store manager for a refund, and he just kept following me around making derogatory insults with no customer service. Now the staff I am referring to is the staff I spoke with not all behind counter. Walmart has state of the art video security surveillance systems in their stores. Ask them to see the video on 07/19/2025 at 1400 {military time) It shows all even the audio if they will play it. its a walmart... they do their best and if you expect more than walmart standards go to target lol. prices are good when on sale and the workers will help you! im a fan of the 50 cent dishes for my dorm as well as some of the other cheap dorm items. i got both a keyboard and mouse for under 20 bucks and theyre both pretty nice, for example. dont expect top notch everything! its just a grocery store :) read more

Disgusting. I learned my lesson. I was greeted at the door by a tiny 16 or 17 year old. I was there to buy my groceries and within minutes a giant family with NO masks came in. Loud, obnoxious and had they been quieter, I wouldn't have noticed. I ran to a worker. Alarmed they had no masks. Nothing. Blank response. I ran to find a manager, "we can't make anyone wear masks, what if they have health issues?" I said all 6 of them?!? Disgusted. I will NEVER EVER enter another Walmart. Target has mandatory masks. As does Costco. I will do large shopping there. I wish I could give WalMart 0 stars. Shame on them. read more

They got rid of nearly every cashier and replaced with all self checkout. Poor service if you have more than a few items. The 2 lanes that did have cashiers had at least a dozen people in each lane. Older generations will not use self checkout and if you have alcohol or any item of size or value it requires someone to come which you have to wait for. No place to put items before scanning so you have room to bag and put in cart...to ensure you in fact paid for everything! Always an issue with produce codes too! read more

I don't appreciate the cashiers licking their fingers to open the plastic shopping bags. This is not only unsanitary, it is unrefined and unprofessional as well, I have grabbed some clean bags and stopped by the hand wipes on my way out and wiped off all my items with the wipes and rebagged them into clean bags. read more

Chock full of usefull departments all under one roof. I stroll through and finish my wandering in the food section, which actually has a wide selection at great prices. I steer clear of the meats, usually. Nice staff, good return policy. read more

I enjoy going to walmart since it's not that far from my house and do alot of shopping there but for some reason every time I go I always go by the fish just too look at them and there's always one or more dead, the tanks are very dirty. So today I talked to Todd Peterson (District Manager) about the complaint I filed the other day about Extremely Poor Customer Service at Store 2958 (You all got it, but no one thought it was important enough to respond to (Sent to Wal-Mart Senior Management) and what I got was the Party Line. "We know this is an issue and we are working on it" "this is unacceptable behavior" "we have talked to the person" etc.... I didn't expect anything less, because I know how the circle the wagon train party goes and I know that is why Wal-Mart has so many VPs and Executive VPs! It creates layers of deniability and since you are treating customers the way you are, you need those layers. Especially since everyone on this list (Wal-Mart Senior Management) is so far removed from actually knowing what is going on in stores, it is beyond comprehension. I am amazed that you accept Lying to customers as an acceptable practice (I am sure it happens, but Assistant Manager Tiffany at Store 2958 didn't know her associate was going to dime her out and give me a picture of the UPS delivery information that shows the information she proved me was a LIE! Which you were provided!) and I am even equally amazed that it is okay for an associate to put someone on hold for approximately 57 minutes and No One cares, because BOTH of these people still have Jobs. I know you can't get enough employees, because it is a workers market and you don't pay nearly enough money, especially in this area. Your problem will not go away, unless you step up and hold people accountable. You have to set examples, or people (Associates) will just assume that type of behavior is okay. If you don't stop it, it is okay and you are not stopping it! The inmates are running the asylum and if it is happing in Appleton, WI, imagine what it is like in a big city. You will get out what you put in and you are putting Junk in and expecting to get diamonds out. Todd Peterson said he has been with the company for 29 years! This may be part of the problem! Quit promoting people because it is there time and they are willing to move and find someone who is qualified. HIRE LEADERS! Not Managers! Set the expectations and hold people accountable!
