I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone who needs a dentist!!…read more Dr. Nelson & Dr. Dorsch are the owners of this clinic now that Dr. Hein retired and they are both FABULOUS! I don't know where to start, so I'll begin with how Dr. Dorsch basically saved the life of someone in my family after their pcp missed a growth that required emergency surgery. Then there's Dr. Nelson, who I'll call the "King of Painless Injections". He's some sort of magician, because if he hadn't told me he was putting the numbing shot in, I wouldn't have even known. I'm extremely needle phobic so this is huge! He does a great job of explaining things & is thorough. He's also extremely patient. I can be a neurotic mess when I'm at the dentist. He never makes me feel ridiculous, and he never shames me for not coming in regularly like I'm going to start doing. Just a very nice, gentle person. If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm one of those people who are terrified of the dentist, usually going only when necessary. Now that Dr. Dorsch is part of the practice, she can prescribe meds to help. This was huge for me! They weren't able to do this the last time I inquired, but she's got the special skills/license. That being said, it's not a guarantee that she'll feel comfortable prescribing something. For example, she was concerned about an interaction with meds I'm already on so after her and my pcp discussed it, my primary care ended up doing the prescribing. So it's case by case. The clinic itself is beautiful. The hygienists are so nice, calming, friendly and helpful. They really make you feel at ease. Overall, just a great practice. So glad Dr. Dorsch joined & now co-owns the clinic as she's brought a ton to the table. I'm working with her in 10 days so I may update this. Highly recommenda!

From the moment he arrived, the Heartwood owners and staff welcomed him as part of their family. We observe that they treat every resident with kindness, patience, dignity, and respect, and it is obvious that they genuinely care about the people who live here. Knowing that he is safe, comfortable, and well cared for gives us tremendous peace of mind. Heartwood is always clean, attractive, and inviting. Residents have access to several comfortable TV lounges with cozy furniture where they can visit family, relax, socialize, enjoy their favorite programs or nap. The beautiful outdoor garden is another wonderful feature, providing a peaceful place to walk, enjoy nature, or simply sit and visit with friends and family. They also have an adjacent facility for more advanced memory care when our ward needs it. What impresses us most is the personal attention each resident receives. The staff is attentive, compassionate, and responsive, and they do an excellent job communicating with families. Over the past two years, we have consistently seen a level of care that goes above and beyond our expectations. We are extremely grateful for everything Heartwood has done for our ward and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, caring, family-oriented assisted living home for a loved one.

I am young and healthy, brush and floss daily and have always been told I have beautiful, healthy teeth. At Govani, the dental hygienist scraped each of my gums with the sharp tool until they bled, then she measured my periodontal charting by poking into each gum. When Dr. Govani came in, she told me I have gingivitis and will require anesthesia for two days of "deep" cleaning because of all the tarter buildup, which would cost $800. Before scheduling anything with them, I followed up with my previous dentist and they cleaned my teeth, told me my periodontal charting was between 1-2, NO tarter, and to come back in 6 months. Govani dental must be seriously needing money by looking for anything to charge patients for.
