Sent private paperwork to someone else years ago, now claiming that our vet didn't call in meds. Very rude and not willing to help. Employees didn't know what was going on and the woman in charge was extremely rude. Will avoid at all costs in the future. read more

I had two prescriptions sent there for an intestinal infection after leaving the hospital at 8:45 pm. Before I confirmed the pharmacy with the doctor, I double checked online that it was still open 24 hours. Arrive to the pharmacy at 9:08 to find out they close at 9:00. The kid working the counter told me they changed hours a month ago because of staffing. Would have been nice if they updated the hours online. Head back to the pharmacy 25 minutes away from my house only to find out they were not yet open because the pharmacist was coming from 1.5 hours away. I wait 45 minutes in store for my prescription. They call my name and start to ring me up. Then they realize that I had two prescriptions sent in. Have to wait longer. These are both new prescriptions to me and all they say to me is "Do you have any questions?" I get home and realize that I'm shorted 2.5 days of one antibiotic. I call and ask if they can just mail me the 5 pills I'm short. He says there's no way he can do that, I have to bring the pills back in and they can give me what they shorted me. I will not be returning to this store for even non-pharmacy needs. read more

Are all CVS Pharmacists trained to be rude and unfriendly? I have yet to see any of them smile at anyone. It's all business and no pleasantries what so ever! They have gone to only letting you pay for prescriptions at the pharmacy check out even if it's vitamins! So then you have to stand in line and either wait for someone to notice you at the front register or do the self check out. Good help is hard to find and with their attitude, I will be looking for a new pharmacy! read more

The only option to purchase is self checkout. They wouldn't open a register for my elderly grandmother. So I went with her, and yes, they have zero check stands. Seems crappy. read more

The pharmacy did not have a medication my doctor wanted me to start. (Luckily I called to ask before she sent the script) I was told by the pharmacy staff member who took my call that they could not even ORDER the med. Ironically, when my doctor's office called within 30 minutes of MY call, they could all of a sudden get it for me in a couple days. I already transferred all of my meds to another pharmacy except one (a total of 7) And this last one will follow suit. read more

I needed a 24 hour pharmacy so I could pick up some contact solution while passing through town to visit family. But I forgot to fit in that shopping somewhere during the day, which meant I needed a 24 hour pharmacy or else the will to bid farewell to my final pair of soft contacts around 2am last night. This CVS had what I needed, the price was great, the interior looked identical to every other CVS I've ever been to anywhere in the country (meaning I could find what I wanted fast and get back home to bed), and the staff was swift and friendly. I don't what anybody else wants from a 24 hour pharmacy than all of the above. Sure, there was a conspicuous lack of dancing ponies, white glove concierge service, and steak tartare, but to paraphrase Dr. Leonard McCoy, it's a 24 hour pharmacy, not a Ringling Bros. circus / Hilton Hotel / MGM Grand Casino. Shortly put, this is the place I'll go the next time I have some middle-of-the-night pharmacy need the next time I pass through town. It gets the job done, and that's all it should have to do to earn my five stars. read more

This is not the only location that does this but why can no one be at the counter or be watching the counter? Why must I have to go up and down the isles to find someone to help me? If you don't want to pay someone to stand around, instead be stocking, straightening the shelves then get a damn bell. read more

RE: 23 Sept 21, CVS store 8525, Wisconsin & Richmond, Appleton, WI. One of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. Stopped to get a bottle of Pepto Bismol. Went up to the check out counter where three associates; (2-female, 1-male) were chatting behind the counter. The male looked at me and said to use the self checkout then went back to chatting. I said I want to check out with a person. He said that corporate has told them they can't use the registers and I'd have to use the self checkout station. He went back to chatting with all three of them now standing with their backs to me. If I hadn't had a $5 coupon, I would've simply walked out and left the item. I then again said I wanted to checkout at the counter. The guy says to one of the others, "Go show him how easy it is to use it" (editor's note: blood pressure rising, sarcasm level at critical). She came out and proceeded, with attitude, to poke at the buttons not once uttering a word. When it came time to enter the coupon, she scanned it and entered it into the coupon slot. Surprise; the thing jammed and froze the whole thing! Talk about Karma!! The 3rd person, who turned out to be the shift supervisor, had to come out from behind the counter and override everything. It has now taken 3 associates to complete my transaction. Never a word from either of them apologizing or being courteous at any point. This whole episode comes on the heels of my visit to this CVS store yesterday where an associate came up and checked me out at the same counter using the cash register. I understand the need for self checkouts with the labor shortage but when 3 associates are standing behind the counter chatting but can't be bothered to handle a cash register, it is time to go to Walgreens. I was almost ready to channel my Howard Beale from the movie "Network" and yell, "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!" read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Pharmacists don't care about their customers. They asked me to go to a different pharmacy because I was a nuisance to them. Rude customer service. Inconsistently extremely busy. Managers don't care about customer complaints. Charlie, the pharmacist, was one of the most rudest and unprofessional pharmacist I've ever met. I was trying to get a medication for my mother and he called me "childish" for asking for his reassurance of my mother's medication arrival. Would he have spoken that way to my mother as well? Gets you wondering. Don't bring you or your loved ones here. They'll probably treat you like shit! read more

Wish i could give negative stars. Will NEVER step foot here again. Mainly due to the pharmacy. Worst ever. Employees are terrible-rude, slow and quick to place the blame when wrong. Multiple occasions i would go to pick up a prescription and had to wait far past 20 minutes. I was notified when my prescription war supposed to be ready, definitely wasn't. Was told more than once by the employees my doctor didn't send something over, called and confirmed they had. This place is awful, i get angry just thinking about it. read more

If i could rate them less i would! Pharmacy workers i've dealt with are always crabby & act as you're an inconvenience. They never have my prescription ready and always an excuse! Will never step foot in Appleton's CVS again!! read more
