I was thinking "what did I get into"! Well I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this operation. I was 10th in line when I walked in. But their service was amazingly quick. They had four windows open, and it only took a few minutes for me to get to the front of line. The woman I worked with along with the pharmacist were really friendly, and unlike other pharmacies, they didn't seem stressed by their job . I can see why this place is so busy! You could drive from the doctors office directly to this location and your meds would be ready. Sadly, this is no longer the case. My husband is going on his 6th day of waiting for a medication and my asthma inhaler prescription states (on the app) no date or time when it will be ready. And...there are NO pharmacy hours on Saturdays. frankly, this is unacceptable. If this is a payroll cut, find another budget to reduce. Smith Pharmacy in Little Chute is hands down amazing. I have transferred prescriptions there. Do better, Walgreens.

Out of many, many calls to various pharmacies, Walmart Pharmacy on E Calumet in Appleton was the only place where I was treated with kindness and patience. All others made me feel like I was putting them out and annoying them. I have interacted now with several different individuals from this Walmart Pharmacy, both via phone and in person, and every single experience has been awesome - this place is definitely customer oriented. Whoever does the hiring and training of this exemplary staff should be commended - as should the staff themselves. Special kudos to rockstars Kathy and Charlie who both recently assisted me and went above and beyond in coordinating the successful processing of a prescription with my doctor's office and the insurance plan. I live clear across town from this pharmacy, but I am willing to drive there - just for their exceptional customer care.
