Part of my duties included obtaining vendors, credit, and ordering parts. Because of my position I signed a credit contract with First Supply (a vendor) stating that I would personally be responsible for $1,000.00 (maximum) worth of credit. This seemed to work out fine while I was working for the company as our bills were always paid. When the company was bought, and the name changed, I was hired by the new owners for the position of general manager. I didn't care for the way they conducted business and after six months I was terminated. I took a job as an engineer with another fire apparatus manufacturer (where I still am today), a direct competitor. The salesman for First Supply (the vendor I signed the credit contract with) called on us from time to time over the course of several years, myself and the person I worked with began hearing rumors that the company I had worked for were not paying their bills and they were in financial trouble, we related this to the First Supply salesman on several occasions, he shrugged it off as rumors and said he wasn't worried. Eventually the financially troubled company went out of business owing employees, vendors, government, and fire departments. Surprisingly no one could collect anything from the owners. Around August 10, 2007, four years later, I was served with a subpoena stating because I signed a credit contact years before at a company that was bought out and no longer in existence, I was responsible for the $32,741.28 plus fees the new company and the new owners still owed First Supply (the vendor). First Supply's attorney threatened to take my house, property, and garnishee my wages; this became a real nightmare that wouldn't have to have happen had the First Supply salesman been upfront and honest. Eventually First Supply said they would settle for $3,010.35 (it might as well had been a million dollars) that I had to pay. I hired a "wonderful" attorney for $600.00 and his advice was to pay it, which I reluctantly did. I told First Supply's attorney and the company president that I had been ill and had medical bills, and I was living pay check to pay check. They didn't care. I feel wronged by all parties involved, the First Supply salesman should have been held accountable for this debt as he was warned on several different occasions that the company was not on the up and up. This is a classic example of a multimillion dollar corporation bulling the little guy into submission. I would just like to recover my $3610.35 loss someday. My recommendation for First Supply - STAY FAR AWAY...

On top of a small hill, you'll find the store and orchard. Stop in the store and get directed to the right orchard and bags for your pickin's. They are very nice and tell you how to pick the ripe and ready. I went for the sweet Honey Golds.. "make sure there's a pink blush on one of the apple's cheeks" I didn't know apples had cheeks! They were easy to spot and pick. AND TREE RIPE SWEET. They also have Macintosh, Cortlands, with twenty other varieties. I didn't have time but you can sometimes also pick fresh produce products ... strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, sweet corn, squash and pumpkins. Pick your own apples & vegetables or buy at the retail store. When you've picked your lot you go back into the store to weigh and pay. Stock up on their locally raised Angus beef or buffalo meat AND OF COURSE spicy Sheboygan style brats too. (beats the heck outta Bavarian or Stadium style) YOU BETCHA!

I've worked under different types of management before, but Jason stands out for all the wrong reasons. His behavior toward employees is rude, degrading, and completely unprofessional. Jason is the definition of a micromanager. He constantly hovers over employees, second-guesses everything, and never trusts anyone to do their job. Instead of encouraging teamwork, he creates an atmosphere of fear and stress. He talks to people like they're beneath him, raising his voice or being sarcastic in front of both staff and customers. It's humiliating and unnecessary. What's worse is that Jason will lie or twist stories to make himself look good to upper management. If there's an issue, he immediately looks for someone to blame -- even when the problem comes from his own poor decisions. He's known for throwing employees under the bus just to protect his image. That kind of leadership kills morale and makes people dread coming to work. Many of us genuinely cared about doing a good job and helping customers, but Jason made it impossible. He plays favorites, pits employees against one another, and treats long-term team members with zero respect. It's heartbreaking to watch good workers quit or transfer just to escape the toxic environment he's created. Walmart and Sam's Club should be ashamed to have someone like Jason representing their company. His behavior is not only unprofessional -- it's emotionally draining for the staff and damaging to the store's reputation. Instead of motivating his team, he destroys confidence and pride in the workplace. If you value your sanity, respect, and self-worth, do not work under Jason's management. Until he's held accountable or replaced, the Green Bay Sam's Club will continue to lose good employees and loyal customers.
