The floors available are laid down in different parts of the store, so you can see them their as well as in large samples. They also have small batches of wood leftover from other projects that you can buy at a discount, so you can make, for example, an accent wall. They also had furniture made from reclaimed wood, including beds, tables, etc. Really cool benches from wood reclaimed from a UW Whitewater gym floor. My husband and I have only shopped WG&R since moving to WI years ago but after their clear lack of customer care, we'll no longer shop there in the future. Last summer we spent a significant amount at WG&R after the purchase of our new home. We were encouraged to purchase furniture insurance. Not even a year later we noticed the seam was separating on one of the cushions of the new couch. After an hour-long call, with the 3rd party insurance, we were told seam separation is not covered. We went back to WG&R who sent a service tech to our home to evaluate the tear and were told that it will be up to the manufacturer to decide who covers the repair. If we had to pay for a new cover, it would be ~ $40. Days later a text from WG&R customer service team said it would cost $120 to replace the cushion, and it its our responsibility. We asked WG&R to cover this cost because we paid $600 for furniture insurance pushed by the sales rep, emphasizing that it covers up to $14,000 in repairs. We were scammed for spending money on insurance to be told a poorly made couch cushion is on us to pay for the repair. We hoped WG&R would be in support of taking care of its customers. After back-and-forth texts with support, they treated it as a bargaining stage that WG&R will cover half, and we should cover the rest. WG&R clearly puts profit ahead of its customers. As it stands, we are not going to pay for a replacement. We'll keep the ugly hole in our couch cushion (that cannot be flipped to hide because it is angled) which will serve as a negative marketing piece for WG&R as people in our social network will be witness to the quality when they come over to visit. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere.

However, when we sat on a La-Z-Boy sofa with ComfortCore Gel, we were sold. We are huge fans of memory foam mattresses and shoes, so this was instant love. Our salesperson, Cheyenne, was really great in helping us pick out the pieces and laying it out in a digital floor plan. Where she excelled was in picking a fabric for us. We had been down this route a few days ago with another salesperson at another store. It was dreadful. Cheyenne, however, listened to what we wanted and found something immediately that coordinated with our walls and carpet. We hate furniture shopping, but she made it easy for me and my husband. When we were ready to order it for our second home in MA, Cheyenne told us that we could not place the order for MA from WI we live primarily live. La-Z-Boy could only deliver it to the same region as the store. We were so bummed, because we felt that we had wasted Cheyenne's time. She could not have been more gracious. She put it all in writing so that we could order it from a store in the Northeast region. We did order it on the phone eventually from Rhode Island, which had the only store that could accept phone orders. La-Z-Boy needs to be less lazy in upgrading its order system. If you are in the market for furniture, ask for Cheyenne at La-Z-Boy. She was by far the best furniture salesperson we have encountered in a long time. She listens, and really helps you get what you want even if she can't sell it. We will come here the next time we get furniture in Wisconsin.

Fast forward slightly more than 1 year and the lights on the bed completely went out, the whole system fried out, and we rarely even used it. Called to discuss it and was told I could order a new set up for a ridiculous amount of money. Not much option, so the new set up was ordered. 12 weeks later they are still "in production".
