I used to enjoy shopping here, however it feels culty having to check my membership at the door. A membership I paid for years ago. Having being checked at the door, which can make a person feel horrible about themselves!! Bad enough I struggle with PTSD and anxiety. If you need larger quantities of products at not bad prices this is your place. Always a rotating stock of items. I have been a fan of Costco for years. The 5$ chickens are the best. I have never had a bad experience here besides it being always over crowded. Recently a change was made to the membership. If you have the top tier you are allowed to enter at 9am and if you have the lower tier you can enter at 10am. This last thanksgiving I just resigned back up and it was 10 minutes before 10. I signed up at the lower tier and just found out about this change. At this point is were my opinion changed. We walked out and waited in the cart lobby waiting to get in @ 10. It was now 5 minutes til 10 and many people gathered in the lobby waited for their turn to get in. At this point a person from the store came out and began to tell everyone they need to give up any carts they grabbed and need to leave the cart area until it was their time to enter the store. He did so very aggressively and shouted at customers with minutes to spare before they could enter the store with a rule change that many of us have just heard of. I questioned why am I paying a place to allow me to shop at it. When I can buy just about anything I want online now. Especially when I see all around me the brick and mortar business plan is slowly deteriorating and disappearing. The worst part about this is after I was done shopping. I was leaving and same employee who was out tell us we could not enter was at the customer services counter telling the other employees how he had to tell the stupid lower tier people to stay out until it was time. Costcos gets their profits from the sale of memberships. This gentlemen gets paid from said profits. My questions to myself is being treated like this ok. I personally believe it is not. read more

This is a complaint specifically because I felt scammed by Costco who asked me to sign up for their executive memberships. They stated that if you don't spend enough in the first year that you would get back the difference between the 2% reward and the cost of membership. What they didn't say is that you had to downgrade to make this happen, and that you could not upgrade again for another day. I was caught in a niche situation where I ended up buying a house in my year after, where the membership will be useful. I regret letting them convince me that upgrading came with zero risk as you would get your money back (I did not) read more

My parents went to get new tires and he was completely rude and even got upset that my dad couldn't say some words right. He even ordered us the wrong tires because of fast he was trying to take care of us. he even got upset when we repeated something and even yelled at them and said yes with an attitude. read more

I love Costco, definitely my favorite when it comes to warehouse shopping! They have a great wine selection, I found some great deals this weekend on some of my favorite wines so I stocked up for The holidays. They have great prices on organic items as well. I also love the executive membership, if you shop here often you should have this membership because you get a hefty refund check at the end of the year. The lack of five stars is because they don't carry some items consistently, something you love might not be there the next time you go in and because they are so pushy about opening a Costco credit card. read more

I went to get a quote on new glasses and the vision clerk submitted it to insurance even though they knew I couldn't purchase them. I went back to order them and the vision claim was gone. I was told I would have to wait 30-45 days. I spoke to the store manager and they said they have no jurisdictions over vision. Bottom line no one is offering to help fix a problem they created. Their service has gone downhill over the past couple years. I question the value of having a membership there with so many other local businesses that provide much more personable, caring service. read more

I recently sent two negative feedback's regarding the installation of 4 new Bridgestone tires on my 2017 Cadillac Escalade which I want to retract. After talking with Jason (MGR) who did everything possible to correct a misunderstanding when my order was placed, I want to apologize for the grief I put him through. The young man that originally placed my order for the tires, simply forgot to add the 4 sensors needed to complete the job and that is where the problem began. Jason and his assistant Mike did everything possible to make things right including giving me a $50 gift card which I appreciate. The sensors have now been installed and had I known what was involved in installing them, I would never had the tires mounted but would have waited until the sensors were in stock. I am 77 years old and dealt with people my whole career and I am aware that people do make mistakes! The fact that they go out of their way to correct it...is what it's all about! We had Costco memberships before they built this location so we've been going here since the day they opened. This is not the largest Costco with the most variety, but they are consistently excellent. Staff is great, prices are amazing (in fact they charge $1/lb more for ground beef at the Grafton location we used to frequent) and there are always many hidden clearance deals throughout the store. Many friendly, long-term employees make shopping here a real treat! read more

Love Costco but had a terrible experience today with two staff at the customer service desk. I came to the desk for a price adjustment on an item purchased at another warehouse location without the original receipt but I did have the purchase date and other relevant information so that they could print a duplicate receipt (as stated on Costco.com). The two staff then informed me they couldn't give a price adjustment as it's against company policy without an original receipt. Despite calling their store on phone and getting confirmation I could receive a price adjustment as long as it's in 30 day window. What an annoying experience and poor customer service! This particular store needs to get their act together. The manager spent 5 minutes arguing with me about a price adjustment and told me I could buy the item again and return using duplicate receipt but not get a price adjustment. These staff here need training and an attitude adjustment. The Appleton store is much better in the customer service department and immediately gave me my price adjustment using the duplicate receipt printed at GB location. read more

Difficult night at Costco . Tire appointment at 4 pm . 5:45 still waiting . I was informed that the tire machine has been broke for over a week so they've been working with one machine. Which is fine but then call some of your appointments and reschedule them so the customer is not waiting two hours. I would've been fine with a reschedule . Update is another hour wait. At this point I am now missing a pre-planned personal 6 PM appointment due to this That is greatly inconveniencing somebody else. read more

We were members in another city. After moving to the area, I quickly realized that this Costco is just as good as the one I was used to. They have the same items at about the same price. I love most of the Kirkland brand products. These are good quality items at a low price. My biggest challenge is to get familiar with this store as it is laid out completely different. read more

Costco is one of my all time favorite stores. I shop here as my primary source for most of my grocery needs, gas, electronic purchases, housewares, alcohol and the list goes on and on to include their on line travel services. I only shop at local grocery stores and on line to supplement what I can't find at Costco. In addition to the great line of products they carry I use the executive membership (2% cash rebate on every Costco purchase) and Costco Citi bank for incremental cash rewards (2% on Costco purchases, 3% on travel and 4% on gas). Between these two cash rewards programs last year I had over $700 in savings where every little bit helps in retirement. Relative to this store it is well run, clean and very similar to the ones near my home in Michigan making it very easy for me to go shop here as the layout is almost identical. Also during cold in climate weather or rainy weather this is a great place to go to get your daily steps in the event you are into the exercise thing. Overall a truly great chain that if you have never shopped here you are truly missing out on a great shopping experience. Four stars...... read more

Opened it's doors to Green Bay in October 2013. I'm completely biased as we are complete Costco-aholics. I do my weekly grocery shopping there. Here's some helpful hints to maximize your costco experience. *the floor changes almost daily - so when you see something, get it. Don't expect it to be there the next day. *get the executive membership. It costs $110 but you get a 2% cash rebate on all your purchases. So if you spend at least $200/month, you'll get at least a $100 rebate and plug that into your membership renewal -you'll never pay membership fees again! *Costco only accepts cash, check, debit cards, and American Express. Plan accordingly. *costco's generic brand Kirkland Signature has a quality standard of being the exact same quality or better than leading competitor. So those KS workout pants you see? Stitch for stitch, material quality exactly the same as Lulu but much much cheaper! *costco gas is top-tier quality. They add detergents that clean your engine. Last but not least - price out the pharmacy, optical, and hearing aid. You won't believe the price difference from other competitors. You can even get your pet medications there at rock bottom prices!! read more

COSTCO RETURN POLICY Returned merchandise yesterday, they told me the couldn't do an exchange, but would credit my debit card back. 24 hours later, the money is not in my account. I called the store, spoke with someone in administration, she stated it would take 3-4 days for the return to go thru. "And if you don't see it you have to call you bank...". Called Customer Service 800 number, spoke with Brandon and he said "yes, takes several days to return and if I don't see the money go back to the store." What ?? I asked Brandon, "What if its a purchase for $750-$1000." He said same thing, "it would still take 4 days for it to go thru, the other option would be a store credit. No cash will be returned." As with most discount-type stores you have to know prices to know if items are good deals or not. Just because you have to buy a larger size of something doesn't mean you are getting a bargain. The samples were great this time. They were offering pieces of various candies. The ham on Hawaiian bun mini sandwiches were excellent. After we went through the checkout we had to go back for something and noticed the lines were huge. When we came back to checkout again a few minutes later there were only 3 - 4 people in each line. I had a flat tire so removed spare from bottom Toyota Sienna miniovan and put it on without problems. could not get into toyota for 4 new tires for 2 weeks so decided to pay for costco membership and ordered 4 new tires online. When I went in today I reminded them to make sure they put the spare tire back under the car. so then they called me and said job was all done and car was parked outside. By chance I opened the back of the minivan to put in some plants I had bought and there sits my spare tire!!! So I walk back to the tire place and say to the man that why did you not replace the spare where it is supposed to be. He says they could not get it back on. I said perhaps you should have mentioned that to me and he just looked at me. I am very sorry I went to Costco and now of course my tire warranty is through them and the rotations though I will probably just pay and have them done at toyota plus I now have to go to another appt next week at toyota with a minimum payment $55 to attempt to get the spare put back under the car. I am very unimpressed with this lack of service and if I had a choice I would never go to the costco tire place again. read more

If you bought tires from Costco tire center. Good luck getting your tires rotated. You have to schedule an appointment. Then wait 45 minutes for them to do the job. You can't even show up within 5 minutes of opening in the morning to get this done because there are 5 cars ahead of you. And then its a two hour wait for a 10 job. At a center with three car bays. So either do it yourself or pay some place to do it for $20. That's the Costco savings working for you. read more

Similar to other post below, I regret making tire purchase through Costco. I went to store on three different times in effort to get tires rotated first time after purchase, and was told each time that it would be at least a 2 to 3 hour wait minimum to get tires rotated. I live a distance from store so leaving car is not option. Ultimately took to dealership and paid to have my tires rotated. Have used other retailers in past for tires, and they all have been much more accommodating in performing post-purchase tire rotations than Costco. I have had repeated poor service at the Tire Center at Bellevue Costco. Yesterday was the second time that I made an appointment to have my Costco tires rotated and after an hour and 15 minutes they still had not had my car in their shop for rotation. I was late for another appointment so I did not get the tires rotated at all because I told them I had to leave. A few months ago when I had my tires rotated it took over 2 hours - again after I had made an appointment with them. It absolutely should not take this long to rotate tires, especially when an appointment is made. Very frustrating - I will not be buying tires from Costco again based upon this terrible customer service at the tire center. What a joke. Costco Green Bay has no whole brisket. All other stores carry them. Night manager said they should be getting in whole brisket so call in the morning. I called and admin staff talked with the meat dept and no whole brisket came in on the truck. In fact the admin lady said they will not be getting whole brisket in for a long time if ever again. I asked why GB Costco was different than other stores that have it in the meat dept. she basically said I don't know and hung up on me. Costco GB just lost a customer. What a joke read more

They had me at the cake! That mousse filling is my favorite thing ever! Beyond that, their toilet paper rolls last forever, the bottled water is a great value, if you're in the market for baby formula, I haven't found a better deal, and the produce selection and cost is amazing! Especially for someone who runs an in home daycare! We go through so many fruits and veggies in a week, it's awesome to buy in bulk! The only thing I don't love is that they don't take credit cards, but it's probably for the best as I can see myself going WAY overboard! read more

I switched from Sams to COSTO in Green Bay, WI last year and had my new tires purchased from COSTCO. When I got home one of the tires was leaking air. I had to rush it back to COSTCO before air ran out. After spending two more hours tech came back and said the sensor is damaged. So how the heck you damaged my tire sensor? After I got home next day I saw oil under the front tire. Called them back asked them what happened. They denied that they did anything. After a week or so after this incident I went under the Truck and found the oil leaking from strut. filled in incident report and someone called me back from IL. He denied any damage was done in the shop. Took to the Honda Dealer and found out front Strut is Blown. What the heck COSTCO incompetent workers did in the shop is beyond me. It cost me 800 eight hundred dollars for this fix. I am debating taking COSTCO to court. What a nightmare. I will never buy Tires from COSTCO and thinking seriously going back to Sams read more
