Review for Online Order  I noticed Natural Healthy Concepts had a product that I usually order elsewhere.  The price was the same and I got a better deal with NHC because the shipping was FREE and there was 10% off my first order!  I like the other company but I also like a great deal! Before ordering, I checked Yelp and noticed mostly 5 star reviews.  I am glad to report that my experience was 5 star also! Here's what I liked: *10% off my first order after I signing up for emails *Free shipping *Phone number at the bottom of web pages encouraging customers to call with concerns.  I noticed this most when placing my order and it was very helpful!  *Pleasant and professional customer service rep, Lisa, assisted me when I called with questions  *Product was delivered in good condition in reasonable amount of time Natural Healthy Concepts carries some interesting, professional health care lines that you can't find at other health stores like Standard Process and Thorne Research. They also carry more readily accessible brands like Boiron, Dr. Christopher's and Source Naturals - - to name a few.  I was pretty impressed with my online NHC shopping experience and I am glad to share it! read more

After 3 days they CANCELLED my order (over $800) without any notification. I had to check myself when other items I ordered on Amazon had already arrived. Now I have to order somewhere else & wait even longer for my grandma's medicine. Customer service reps didn't even care they wasted my time & they couldn't explain why it was cancelled or why they didn't notify me. read more

Natural Healthy Concepts - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Appleton, Wisconsin

Horrible customer service. There website claims you will be able to speak with a real person. Not true. AI Assistant Natalie was all I could get to. I wanted to find out why my subscription order of 5 containers of protein powder was packaged in literally 5 feet of bubble wrap. This is new for NHC. They used to pack in brown paper. I am trying to use the least amount of plastic possible due to the huge negative environmental impacts of plastic. I waited on hold for 7 minutes hoping to speak with a real person. Instead I received an automated response "that my call could not be taken now. Please leave a message." I plan to cancel my subscription unless the use of plastic is discontinued. read more

I have been using NHC for a few years, they are very convenient and I like their massive selection. This is a one star review because of the recent convention of auto-selecting a subscription on any new order, with the intention that you will forget/not notice and then pay for and receive products you did not request. This is a predatory business tactic and needs to be stopped. read more

Horrible company. I ordered a refrigerated product. When you place the order normally, they force 2-day shipping and place in an insulated bag, ensuring it's good when it gets to you. When you place a subscription order, they force USPS (week-long) shipping and do *not* use an insulated bag - resulting in spoiled product. They refused to refund, saying it's still good warm for two weeks. First of all, where's your proof - second, if it's so good, why won't you take it back? Had to deal with an AI chatbot before needing to call customer support anyway. Additionally - they shipped two subscription items I previously tried to cancel, then made me pay for shipping to return the product. I'll never shop with them again. read more

Great selection of products. Unfortunately, the customer service is not very good. One of the ladies that works there named Alison is not very friendly. She has no customer service skills. She is full of negative energy. read more

I used the 15% off coupon for my first order. Hours later, a general offer is posted for 20% off on large orders. I send an email indicating how disappointed I am that a deal turned out to be no deal just a few hours after I placed my order. Received an acknowledgement of my email informing me they'd address it soon. Four days later, I've received no response. read more

I asked the customer service to give advice on dosage of a mushroom extract I had ordered for my dog and they said they couldn't comment on it. In that case they should not be selling it. They are also aloof and do not adress you by name. There is no greeting. This has given me a bad feeling about this company and what they are selling. Be open, helpful and friendly. After all, your website does say you are there for the customer that, so that is what I expected. read more

I love NHC so much that I'm willing to get over two pretty bad shortcomings: their really snotty and unprofessional call center in Tennesse (which looks like its responsible for a couple of these bad reviews!), and the remarks another reviewer made about their clunky website are also true. True, the website is annoying, slow and not as functional as I would like. It's clunky, for sure. But all the wonderfulness of this company makes up for those two shortcomings. The prices are good, the products are good, the shipping time is good, service has been good except for the snotty agents. I buy a lot of supplements and they are very important to my well-being. When I renew a regular supplement I compare prices at Amazon and Walmart and nhc.com, and almost always nhc's price is the same or lower. Sometimes it is higher, but when choosing where to buy my supplements I also consider nhc's rewards program, which I really like. I recently got $25 off an order with my rewards points! Plus, if its a regular supplement you want auto-shipped, you get even more points. And sometimes they have an additional promo code in the product listing. I feel I've saved a lot of money with nhc, plus I feel much better supporting a business that genuinely cares about it's customers (excluding the Tennessee call center agents). I say that because when I've been to the actual store in Appleton (I live in Wisconsin), it has been an amazing experience each time. Their staff is intelligent, well-versed in their product, experienced, very friendly and interested in the well-being of their customers. They're wonderful. Don't let the Tennessee snots change your opinion. I also love that this company carries doctor brands!! I can get brands here, like Thorne, that my doctors have prescribed in the past and you can't get in other places, and the prices are good. I have been able to buy everything my doctor prescribed here. You can't get those at most health food or supplement stores! I also love that this company only carries valid, quality brands. They won't even carrier bad brands so I don't have to worry about getting a bottle full of capsules containing asphalt dust from China, which I wonder about from popular online sites. NHC is a serious natural health company and I trust them when making decisions about new supplements. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this company to both experienced supplement users for their prices and reward points, and to new supplement users because of the price, and their brands and you can trust them. I live about 50 miles from the store and get my orders very quickly by mail, but I'm guessing if you live much farther that may be an issue for some users, I don't know. I love this company and have referred them to people I really care about. (NHC, I love you. Please don't ever change what you do, including the rewards program. Update your website and get a call center that reflects how wonderful you are! You're losing customers due to those two things.) I wish everyone who reads this happiness and good health. read more

There is no way to contact company regarding my order. Order site is a joke... seems like it is outdated, slow, cumbersome, confusing, and I have NOT been sent an order confirmation. I am not allowed to track my order because there is a cumbersome sign-in verification process which DOES NOT WORK and denies me access. I wish I could just cancel my order. Company is trashy, website is trashy. Also the rewards points are a joke, no explanation or plain criteria . Since I cannot contact company, I am going to contact my Bank in a week if I do not receive and cancel order. I wish I could cancel order today. read more

So i just wanted to update my review based on the genuine response from owner. Thank you. I have not (yet) placed an order, but i will try again. It means a lot to have informative and honest responses. Many businesses try to temper customer criticism w form letter replies that imply something akin to "i have informed my supervisor," (which is generally bs), and that (imho) is worse than ignoring them. I will update again once purchase made. Thanks again.... Update to 5 stars excellent experience all around. Thank you! read more

This is a great store. I have been ordering supplements from them for years. The prices are good and the customer service is excellent. I recently received an empty, ripped envelope which should have contained my supplement order. I called, was immediately connected to a person and she sent me a replacement within minutes. Geana M. was excellent. Highly recommended. read more

I was very impressed upon walking into Natural Healthy Concepts. The staff was incredibly friendly and insightful with their knowledge of Gluten free products they had on hand for their celiac customers. They have a huge selection of options for everyone and the staff took the time to listen to my dietary needs and was happy to help. Will definitely be returning ! read more

I recently purchased their product, PetzLife Oral Care Spray. This product is advertised to remove the plaque from apets teeth while freshening the dogs breath. I used the product for 30 days as directed. I may as well have been spraying water in my dogs mouth for all the good it did. This product did absolutley nothing to improve my dogs teeth! When I contacted customer service about obtaining a refund I was told that the company does not gaurentee their products therefore they would not give me a refund. read more

I'm happy I discovered NHC. After an acupuncturist recommended I take reacted magnesium, and after discovering that I love reacted magnesium, I was on a hunt to find it at a lower price than my acupuncturist's office. Low and behold, I found NHC. I've since placed several orders for the magnesium as well as some other supplements and protein shakes. The ordering process online is quick and easy, and the items typically have shipped out the same day I placed the order! I've usually received the box within one or two days since I live just a few hours from of the NHC store. I definitely recommend NHC to anyone looking for a hassle-free, reliable retailer for health and vitamin products. read more

Ordered online and was unhappy with how shipping was handled. It sat in my mailbox, which likely reached upwards of 140 degrees in the AZ summer, so I asked them to please resend as I don't feel comfortable consuming a product (contained in plastic!) that was likely compromised by such intense temps. They said they could not send it to my door and they will not refund. I do not reco ordering through this company. read more

I've been ordering online from Natural Healthy Concepts for the last 3 years with complete satisfaction. They have an amazing selection, amazing prices, and fast shipping. Although recently, the humans at Natural Healthy Concepts made several mistakes on their end and totally screwed up one of my orders -- which prevented me from receiving my order at the expected time. However, their Director of Customer Service stepped up to the plate and went above-and-beyond to fix all of their mistakes to my complete satisfaction! :) Highly recommend Natural Healthy Concepts! :) read more

Ordered on September 3rd and had my order arrive in my hands on the 5th......in Las Vegas! Took a gamble and won! I have to say, this is service second to none. A hand written, "Thank You", to boot. For those who come here to check them out, I say give them a try and you too can win the jackpot. read more

Very disappointed in this company! I accidently ordered the Garden of Life Raw Enymes Women 50 or Wiser. I meant to order these vitamins but not in the 50 or wiser. When I called to ask to exchange the vitamins for the correct ones I was told that I would have to pay a restocking fee of $5.95. Although $5.95 is not much, I feel that if I am exchanging the product for the same exact item I should not be charged anything. Maybe that is there policy but I have ordered from many other vitamin companies and have never run into this type of problem. I really thought I would be able to get a straight up even exchange. I will be returning the product and not ordering from them anymore. Kristal read more

I don't usually write reviews, but wow I am so impressed by this company. I was afraid to order from them because I had never heard of them, but the product I was looking for was out of stock every where else I looked. Their prices were cheaper than any of the other sites, and shipping was free. The reviews looked good so I gave it a shot. Delivery was very fast. I recently discovered Natural Health Concepts by mistake when I got lost in Appleton! I am so glad I did.I had been looking for a store like this for a while, but couldn't seem to find one. I went there and asked if they had certain products and they did! I found manuka honey for my cat, which I had no idea was even beneficial, and it helped quite a bit. They have a wide variety of pet products, which is amazing. They have natural personal products, essential oils and blends and cleansing products. They have just about every brand I use already. I love the fact they have a rewards program too. I recently ordered a couple items online and they were shipped super fast and went towards my rewards. They have just about anything you would need and also told me that if they didn't have it on the floor, they may have it in the warehouse or can ship it to me from their online store. Very helpful and knowledgable employees and a huge selection of everything, with various prices so it really does help living naturally be a little more affordable. They are my go to store now for EO's and blending products, Dr. Bronner items, quality supplements and pet health products. read more

I feel compelled to share how great this company is and how they have quality, healthy products. I'm impressed with the quality of their website, ease of use, informative (love the Nutrional Facts tab), and the variety of choices of interesting, wholesome products one gets excited about. Their service is top notch as well. Amazed how fast I got the products, packaged carefully without using a lot of waste. They even left a hand written "Thank You" on the receipt and carefully taped the top of conditioner in addition to placing into zip lock bags to make sure it didn't open. I can see they put care into their products. Also appreciate the free shipping and no tax. Thank you Natural Healthy Concepts! This is now my go to site. read more

I love this company! I was amazed by their great service. Not only were their prices the lowest I could find on the internet for the brand I was looking for, but their shipping was super fast and they accommodated my strange shipping request (I needed some of my order shipped faster, the rest shipped later due to a vacation I was taking). I e-mailed them to see what they could do, and their customer service was super fast and responsive and they were able to accommodate me. It's so nice to see a company with that type of customer service these days. I will definitely be ordering from them again, and I also highly recommend them. Very happy! read more

I was on vacation and running low on prenatal vitamins, decided to place an order online with Natural Healthy Concepts , never heard of them before but gave it a try because of the great reviews. couple days later after the order I receive a strange email from that company saying : "... Please provide us with a statement of your choice - complete with telephone number for validation; such as: utility bill, Cell phone, Cable/Satellite Bill, rental agreement or any other type of mail you have that connects the cardholders name and address together with the statement you are providing...." WHAT?????????????? They already got my 2 addresses with all my information , charged my card for over $200.00 never shipped out the products and want more information??? So I called customer service and the agent told me that they never send this kind of emails to the customers, asking me to forward that email back to him for fraud purpose, then reviewed the email put me on hold and told me that :"YES THE EMAIL IS LEGIT. THEY WANT MORE INFORMATION FROM ME TO COMPLETE THE ORDER!" Excuse me, because my shipping address is different from billing address you will not ship my purchased items?????? I've been ordering from NHC for about 10 years, and have ALWAYS been more than happy with their products and service. Things arrive quickly and in good shape, with, usually, a handwritten "thank you". A few weeks ago, for the FIRST time, I got a bottle of Omega 3 with D that was horribly rancid and fishy smelling (and tasting), so I called NHC to tell them about it and give them the lot number of the bottle, so they could advise the manufacturer. The nice woman to whom I spoke asked appropriate questions, ordered me a new bottle (from a different lot #!) and then I got a refund for the previous bottle!!! Who knew that customer service was still alive and well in Wisconsin!!! I love NHC and will continue to go to them for my supplements! Jeanie S read more

I was overseas on work assignment. Purchased 5 Miessence deodorants and used one which ended up causing a rash. Contacted these guys when I returned to see if I could exchange the unopened 4 deos but they refused because it's outside the return period.
