Houdini's Paninis was at a local event in Menasha called "Brews on Bago". My wife and I were drawn…read moreto the menu and quickly selected their version of a reuben (for her) and a cubano (for me). All I can say is WOW...both were great sandwiches. As we are in our 60's (shh, don't tell Jane I said that...she turns 60 in November!) we tend to split meals when eating out but opted not to this time. We should have...the sandwiches were large (and I DID manage to eat all mine!) and absolutely delicious! The staff, though busy, was very friendly and the truck even had the ability to pay via tap. If I see this truck out/about in the future I'm getting another sandwich...give it a try!

I was in De Pere and walked by Fuel Good when going to my destination. On my way back I decided to…read morestop inside and see what they do. They make juices and smoothies, and they use Herbalife stuff for their smoothies. It took me a while to figure out but they had before and after pictures of people that have used the product. They have a long list of smoothies, and when I mean long, I mean over 30 choices!! I ended up getting a juice because it was intimidating with all the choices, plus most of them didn't seem appetizing to me. I like fruit tasting smoothies, and all of these were basically desserts and candy. The closest fruity option was strawberry cheesecake and blueberry muffin. Again, I got a raspberry margarita juice. It was a little sweet for me...it did taste like a margarita so it really wasn't that bad. I went on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy. There were four staff and they were all vigorously making shakes. It took a little bit for me to get service. The first time you get there, the ordering service is a little odd. There are small pieces of paper scattered around on the counter that I was apparently supposed to fill out. Because it was my first time, I had to fill out a Google Form on a tablet. What scared me was the title of the form said Membership Registration. What am I getting myself into? I was reassured that it's not an actual membership, but I was required to give my phone number and email...so I can't wait to unsubscribe from that. It's not a bad place, just not for me. I guess I wish the ordering process was presented better and have your register person be more dedicated to that and welcoming customers and explain the process if you're new to the store.
