We were there on a Tuesday afternoon on the hottest day of the week. The place was busy and I left the store forgetting a few items I had on our list. Nothing to do with the store, more so the weather and travel time to get here. I also figured out about 20 minutes down the road on my way home I had left my phone in the women's rest room. We pulled over and called Costco to make sure they had my phone. They did not but went into the bathroom and found it for me. So, we turned around and retrieved it then headed for the 2.5 hr drive home. I really appreciated the customer service. They had a lot of sample tables going on this time of the day. We had lunch before we came to the store so was too full to try the samples. I love Costcos and great customer service is a part of enjoying the stores along with feeling I am getting great prices and quality. I love that they are getting more and more gluten free foods too.

Would I do business with First Supply LLC? Read on…read more.. In 2002 I took a job as general manager for a fire apparatus manufacturer. Part of my duties included obtaining vendors, credit, and ordering parts. Because of my position I signed a credit contract with First Supply (a vendor) stating that I would personally be responsible for $1,000.00 (maximum) worth of credit. This seemed to work out fine while I was working for the company as our bills were always paid. When the company was bought, and the name changed, I was hired by the new owners for the position of general manager. I didn't care for the way they conducted business and after six months I was terminated. I took a job as an engineer with another fire apparatus manufacturer (where I still am today), a direct competitor. The salesman for First Supply (the vendor I signed the credit contract with) called on us from time to time over the course of several years, myself and the person I worked with began hearing rumors that the company I had worked for were not paying their bills and they were in financial trouble, we related this to the First Supply salesman on several occasions, he shrugged it off as rumors and said he wasn't worried. Eventually the financially troubled company went out of business owing employees, vendors, government, and fire departments. Surprisingly no one could collect anything from the owners. Around August 10, 2007, four years later, I was served with a subpoena stating because I signed a credit contact years before at a company that was bought out and no longer in existence, I was responsible for the $32,741.28 plus fees the new company and the new owners still owed First Supply (the vendor). First Supply's attorney threatened to take my house, property, and garnishee my wages; this became a real nightmare that wouldn't have to have happen had the First Supply salesman been upfront and honest. Eventually First Supply said they would settle for $3,010.35 (it might as well had been a million dollars) that I had to pay. I hired a "wonderful" attorney for $600.00 and his advice was to pay it, which I reluctantly did. I told First Supply's attorney and the company president that I had been ill and had medical bills, and I was living pay check to pay check. They didn't care. I feel wronged by all parties involved, the First Supply salesman should have been held accountable for this debt as he was warned on several different occasions that the company was not on the up and up. This is a classic example of a multimillion dollar corporation bulling the little guy into submission. I would just like to recover my $3610.35 loss someday. My recommendation for First Supply - STAY FAR AWAY...

As a first time shopper, I asked about the return policy and was told it could be returned for in-store credit. The sleeves proved too short, so I tried to return the purchase today. Initially the cashier said there was a 10 day return policy on clothing and refused the return. I explained the information I had been given, but since it was seasonal, she would only make an exception to exchange it for the same clothing item. She referred me to the back of the price tag, which does explain the policy; but what I was verbally told was different. Well, a larger size doesn't have longer sleeves, but since I had no alternative, I made an exchange. I said that as a first time shopper, it didn't give me a good impression of the store. Nothing more was said. (BTW, the item is now on sale for 20% off vs my 10% discount. Bottom line, I thought this might become a store I would shop frequently, but now I will not return. I try to shop local, but with policies like this, it's no wonder larger stores are winning the retail race.

But I forgot to fit in that shopping somewhere during the day, which meant I needed a 24 hour pharmacy or else the will to bid farewell to my final pair of soft contacts around 2am last night. This CVS had what I needed, the price was great, the interior looked identical to every other CVS I've ever been to anywhere in the country (meaning I could find what I wanted fast and get back home to bed), and the staff was swift and friendly. I don't what anybody else wants from a 24 hour pharmacy than all of the above. Sure, there was a conspicuous lack of dancing ponies, white glove concierge service, and steak tartare, but to paraphrase Dr. Leonard McCoy, it's a 24 hour pharmacy, not a Ringling Bros. circus / Hilton Hotel / MGM Grand Casino. Shortly put, this is the place I'll go the next time I have some middle-of-the-night pharmacy need the next time I pass through town. It gets the job done, and that's all it should have to do to earn my five stars.
