This CVS had what I needed, the price was great, the interior looked identical to every other CVS I've ever been to anywhere in the country (meaning I could find what I wanted fast and get back home to bed), and the staff was swift and friendly. I don't what anybody else wants from a 24 hour pharmacy than all of the above. Sure, there was a conspicuous lack of dancing ponies, white glove concierge service, and steak tartare, but to paraphrase Dr. Leonard McCoy, it's a 24 hour pharmacy, not a Ringling Bros. circus / Hilton Hotel / MGM Grand Casino. Shortly put, this is the place I'll go the next time I have some middle-of-the-night pharmacy need the next time I pass through town. Nothing too large but too many to go through the express lane without being "that guy". I worked retail for 12.5 years so I know that it annoys the cashier and others in line and I dont want to appear on People of Wal-Mart because of that. So, I go to the other other register open meaning that at 9:30PM on a Friday night there were two registers open. One regular and one express. It took me 30 minutes to check out because of how much the people in front of me had to ring up. I know Wal-Mart is knowing for never having registers open but this was ridiculous. If I did not need my items for the next day I would have waited and gone to Target. I have gone to this Wal-Mart a few times and there is always a wait but usually I am grabbing just a few things so I can do self or express checkout. I will say the staff I interacted with was actually friendly and helpful but there just wasnt enough checkout help so that is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I know its really not the staffs fault for the lack of staff and I don't want to take it out on them but it needs to be said.
