The manager was helpful in pointing out long-lasting liquid lipstick options and she encouraged me to browse and try the products. I appreciated that she knew what the top-rated products were (I had also done research before stopping in) and she offered several options instead of pushing a particular brand. The highlight of my visit was when Danielle found me trying foundation colors on my own and offered to help me find my color. I told her I had tried several foundation products in the past (Mac, Smashbox, Loréal) and I wanted something that was long-lasting with medium coverage but didn't leave my face dry or oily. She recommended Urban Decay's All Nighter Liquid Foundation and so far I'm really pleased with how natural it looks. Danielle provided excellent customer service in helping me select a new foundation brush - the IT Airbrush OMG! Foundation brush (#106) is amazing! Also, the IT Brush Bath is definitely worth the $18. The Purifying Brush Cleanser is alcohol-free and smells amazing (lavender oil + lemon and orange extract).

Recently however, I got told I wasn't allowed to return an item that was damaged about a month ago. I bought the Anastasia DipBrow Pomade in January sometime. I hadn't used it until February and when I opened it to use it for the first time, it was all cracked and dried up. I went to return it late February. It was over the 30 days but I had my receipt. I have returned items before after the 30 days and I am aware of Sephora's policy. The lady told me it was already opened and I cannot return it. She did not even mention anything about the 30 days. No shit it's opened. People return opened items all the time. How else am I supposed to tell if an item is defective or not unless I open it? She proceeded to give me attitude throughout the entire conversation. Like I said, I really do like Sephora and I like my store. I come in here all the time and everyone is always really accommodating and nice. I have not seen that particular lady there before, so maybe she was new? Overall, I will still shop here but if that lady is working, I will not be coming into the store.

When you place a subscription order, they force USPS (week-long) shipping and do *not* use an insulated bag - resulting in spoiled product. They refused to refund, saying it's still good warm for two weeks. First of all, where's your proof - second, if it's so good, why won't you take it back? Had to deal with an AI chatbot before needing to call customer support anyway. Additionally - they shipped two subscription items I previously tried to cancel, then made me pay for shipping to return the product. I'll never shop with them again.
