He took the time to explain everything in a way that actually made sense--graphics cards, processors, cooling systems, all the stuff I usually get lost with. Eli didn't rush me or push me into anything. Instead, he walked me through the differences between pre-built systems and custom builds, what specs matter for different types of games, and even helped me figure out what would fit best in my budget. You can tell he genuinely knows his stuff and enjoys helping people. I left feeling confident and excited instead of confused. When we called Best Buy's helpline we got the runaround from two people, repeating the problem to everyone that picked up a phone. I had broken the track pad on my Mac and I brought it back to the best buy I had boughten it from to see what I should do. They told me my very expensive warranty had expired less than a week earlier, and it would cost me about 500 dollars to fix and take about 3 weeks. I went home to go look at all of my options, and a friend of mine told me about computer world. I went in and they diagnosed what was wrong with my computer and estimated that repairs would only be 170 dollars! On top of that, they gave me the number for apple along with their business card to call and ask if apple would cover it, and they did! My repair was completely covered and they estimated 3 DAYS to fix it. I went from paying 500 bucks and waiting 3 weeks to paying nothing and wait 3 days! As long as they are open, I'm not going anywhere else.
