We've had trouble in the past with tech help because either they aren't super familiar with Macs; they're mean and condescending to us; or their only solution is "nuke the system" which means hours and hours of downtime to clear everything off of the computer and then reinstall everything. Not only does 'nuking the system' render us incapable of working, it also seems to lean heavily in favor of the tech, who gets paid by the hour and doesn't need to do anything but delete everything and then re-install it and sit there while it installs. What a pleasure and a surprise to find Ask Bill First! Bill Jimenez surpassed our expectations with his knowledge, his easy going manner, his attention to detail and how he got everything working quickly, seamlessly and perfectly! He can work over the phone and/or just remote in to see what's going on, or just walk us through what to do. It's almost like he can read our minds -- he talks us through the steps to make everything work again. He's extremely kind and patient and he never talks down to us or makes us feel bad in any way.
