Had a 4pm appointment for a phone that wouldn't turn on. I told the employee I suspected the battery and/or motherboard didn't work, so he ran some quick diagnostics in the back. When he returned he told me it was the power button that didn't work, and was talking to me like I was stupid and bothering him the entire time. In the end, he couldn't accept the repair request due to my carrier (which I understand is outside of his control), so I left and shipped my phone in to Google. When I got the phone back, the letter said the microphone, back glass, and battery all needed to be replaced. It wasn't the power button itself at all. UBreakifix needs to get better about diagnosing basic tech problems. read more

4pm appointment Thursday April 2nd. They call Tuesday the 31st of March to confirm the appointment. Show up day of appointment and they are closed, no one in the place. Other people showing up confused. They send me an email "oops you missed your appointment." No, your idiot staff wasn't working the hours posted on your own door. Nobody reaches out saying they would be closed, door says you're open until 7pm. Idiots. read more

I'm going to update this to 3 stars because after filing a formal complaint I was given a call by a very helpful case manager. He went though all of our information and documentation and determined that the store did not follow protocol and we actually received payment for the cost of the unit. I still would not recommend using this place to repair your electronics but if you do document, document, document. Every single thing. These employees are not trained or honest. read more

I called to get a quote over the phone. I was told when I dropped my phone off that it would be ready "anytime after noon" the following day. I showed up at 12:30 only to be told they had at least 2.5 hours of work left. I told the employee that I was unhappy that I was told what time I could come back and get it but then nobody bothered to communicate that it wouldn't be done at the stated time. Another employee came from the back to argue with me I guess about how long the job takes? I don't care how long the job takes but at least be courteous enough to communicate BEFORE someone wastes their time and gas to drive back to your store. I also witnessed 2 other customer interactions that lead me to be this location Just lacks customer service in general. The first one was another person coming to get their phone that wasn't done on time. The 2nd was a person that was charged $20 more than she was quoted. Both people were given a "sorry" that made it seem like it's no big deal. There are other places that offer this type of service; I would consider using some place else. Treating customers like this seems to be more of the norm than simply 1 bad interaction for this location. read more

I recommended this place for my mom to have her iPad repaired after having a good experience having an iPhone repaired here. Well that was a mistake. They did not keep her informed, she had to call 3 times over 4 weeks and it seems as if they just strung her along. Someone told her "Noah" would get back to her...no one ever got back to her. On her last call they told her they were waiting for a part to come in. Finally she went in to the store and they told her that it needed to be sent in for a new motherboard. So they were apparently just sitting on it until she finally came in? No one called her to ask her if she wanted it done? Terrible customer service. read more

We brought in a working Nintendo switch with a broken screen. They give it back to us with a fixed screen but said the motherboard was damaged. We didn't get charged for the new screen but I would really like to know how the motherboard got damaged. Device was working when we brought it to you and in the dock it worked fine. My question is was it damaged by the employee replacing screen, because a free screen is no consolation for destroying of Nintendo switch. It won't even power on now before at least I could use it in the dock. read more

I tried to take my Mac book air here for a broken letter "n" key probably about a month or so ago. First they told me they'd have to order the part and then when I asked how long it would take they said it'd be 6 hours. I come back a week later and when I drop off the laptop turns out the part is defective and I have to wait for a new part. Okay no big deal these things happen. I come back probably about a month later because I work in another city and finally have time to drop it off. I drop it off Friday evening around 5pm and then call them Saturday around 2pm to see where they're at. First they tell me that they don't know when it will be done. Okay? What kind of answer is that. This is my work and school computer. I leave on Monday to head back to Milwaukee and I need it. The only reason I dropped it off Friday evening was because I was told previously that it'd only take 6 hours. If it was gonna take longer I wouldn't have dropped it off at all. Then I ask if it will be done by Sunday and they say they don't know again and that the technician that will be fixing it is gone Sunday. Great. Then they say they'll call me when it's finished. Well I arrive Sunday as soon as they open to check the status and they bring it out to me still unfixed. Saying that the keyboard part they ordered is too small. Like how pathetic. How did you not realize the part was too small immediately when you had it next to my computer. They obviously tried to take it apart and put it in because now my touch pad is sitting in there slightly crooked and makes a loud clicking noise. Which is awesome. I had a slightly broken $1200 computer and instead of fixing it they made it more junky. Won't be coming back. read more
