I really like the doctor here, that being said, the wait times are insane. It took well over an hour for my appointment. They need to schedule appointments further apart so you aren't stuck waiting. Then, a client came in that had an appointment well after mine, yet she called into the pre exam room before me, and this was 30 minutes before her appointment, yet I'm sitting here for over an hour. Lot of people coming in to have their glasses adjusted so I doubt they are done right the first time. Bottom line, people that have been waiting need to be called first. That's making me more mad than anything. Also they seem to have issues ordering the correct eyewear. Had to wait an extra week to get my correct eyeglasses. read more

My appt with Dr Piot was very pleasant. She is so nice and made the whole visit go very smooth. I appreciated that masks were required. The staff that helped me find my frames was super helpful, especially Jera (not sure about the spelling). The glasses are a bit more than some of the cheaper discount places, but it's worth it to me. I'd seen Dr. Peot previously at Shopko in De Pere and had a fine experience. Unfortunately, my most recent visit in March 2020 was unpleasant with multiple issues. The staff was unfriendly and unprofessional, with me and amongst each other. They required me to complete the screening tests twice due to their errors in administering them correctly the first time, they were blatant about how inconvenienced they were by having to screen me again, and the Dr. did not even review the second results. I have a specific concern with a spot on one of my eyes that annually I ask the optometrist to check to ensure it's movement isn't in jeopardy of impeding my vision in the future. She refused to look at it and dismissed my concern completely. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience and the level of care I received. read more

Had an eye exam and contact fitting appointment for my 14 year old daughter. We were able to schedule an appointment fairly quick & Shopko Optical Suamico was amazing!! Dr McCarty is so friendly, patient and kind!! The entire staff was great, beyond helpful and courteous! We than worked with Heather to pick out my daughter's frames, contacts & payment. Heather was so amazing & incredibly helpful that she literally made my whole day great just by how great she treated us!! She made sure we were recieving the best offers available, ensured insurance coverage was utilized everywhere possible & she even went out of her way to show my daughter a few things regarding contacts as a first time user!! I cannot say enough amazing things about Heather!!! 10/10 would definitely recommend the Suamico location to everyone!!! read more
