I bought…read moreglasses and they didn't seem right so I went back to my optometrist to check my prescription and they found my glasses were made incorrect. They gave me a prescription to correct Eyemarts mistake . Eyemart Express put new lenses in my frames and they were so bad I was afraid in would fall or get into a car accident . They said they just followed the prescription. I asked for my money back , and they refunded it . Most of the people were very courteous but they've wasted much of my time and I had to make 4 trips there and I still don't have glasses . I'll never go back or recomend them to anyone, they were a complete waste of time !

He never offered any course if treatment and didn't discuss it any further. I wondered why he asked in the first place. 2) small selection of frames and on the expensive side compared to other places. I even saw some frames for over $500. I don't care what celebrity or designers name is on them... that should be illegal. It's a little bit of plastic and or metal and doesn't even include the lenses. There's nothing to justify the ridiculous prices. To some degree this applies to anywhere you get glasses. But other eyewear stores have a whole section of frames at prices shopko doesn't even offer. 3) the glasses I got suck. The bifocal line is right in the middle of the lens and constantly gets in the way of whatever I'm trying to look at. I kind of like the look of the clear frames, but they are noisy if that makes any sense. The plastic makes a lot of noise as you put them on and take them off and adjust. It does gradually get quieter. Things at a little bit of a distance I can see better because I needed a new prescription. But I still have a lot of trouble reading things on my phone or printed instructions, and grocery shopping is a real pain. Overall there were so many things that were a disappointment that I don't plan on returning there for my next pair of glasses.

I was viewing things in "fishbowl" when I tried reading anything. No one greeted me. Two later customers were assisted before me. One of the techs finally asked what I needed. She told me to wait a week, use them early in the morning and get used to them, that my prescription must have changed. She never even looked at my prescription. It hadn't changed in over three years. I tried telling her this, but she talked over me. I am a Med Tech in healthcare. I don't have time for crap service like this.

I did not feel rushed, or hurried and the eye exam was thorough. Apparently giving the patient their Pupil Distance (PD) is that is not part of the full diabetic eye exam that my insurance will be billed for. I worked as an Optician for 5 years and this is a little ridiculous. The Space for "PD" is even on the Rx form they give you, just not filled in. It is even part of the automatic Refractometer procedure (Where they auto read your script by having you look at into a machine that makes a farmhouse projection go crisp and blurry). I knew where to look on the readout form and it was plainly there. I chose to purchase my glasses someplace else and they wanted to charge me $15 (after a full eye exam) to do it.

My friend, who had not purchased her glasses at Valley Vision, was with me and Star asked if she could assist her in any way. Star was eager and willing to adjust my friend's glasses for her.
