Huge parking lot but its tight since the Walmart shares it with a fitness center a few mega retail stores. Half of the checkout area was self serve but had a clerk stationed nearby for problems that arise. I walked straight to the Grab & Go section with a variety of bottled energy and health drinks for under $3.00. Seedless watermelons were plentiful in a huge crate at $8.67 each. Lots of decent deals at every turn including a nice flower bouquet area from $5.00 - $25.00. read more

The employees are friendly and helpful but they frequently don't have the veggies we are looking for. The pickup will give us the wrong items sometimes we would order cilantro and get parsley (I know they look similar lol but still). We've also ordered jalapeños and got poblano peppers. And sometimes for the fruits a lot of it is already spoiled... which is hard to see when you are paying quit a bit for strawberries. read more

It's pretty infuriating when you pay $100 to belong to a club and you constantly check no substitutions on your order but they send you substitutions anyways! you call and say "I don't want this" and then after about the 10th time they say you're kicked out and you can never return b/c of too many returns! You can never have groceries delivered again because you're a bad customer????? I haven't had any returns!! But you sent substitutions I didn't ask for and then you penalized me for your bad behavior and block my acct. I'm a disabled 72-year-old woman and now I don't eat because I can't get groceries delivered. All thanks to Walmart rip off and ILLEGAL policy. read more

This place is large with organized aisles, offering a vast selection of products. I may even have to return and get a bottle of wine from here, the prices are quite reasonable. read more

I recently placed an online order at Walmart for electrolytes and instead received laundry detergent. Walmart chat then indicated that I needed to return the product and wait three weeks for a refund! How stupid is that? I insisted, and the Walmart agent arranged for FedEx to pick up the laundry detergent at my house. It then arrived at Walmart's warehouse four days later, at which point online chat agents then told me that it would be 7-10 days before I saw a credit for the return and would then need to reorder my products. This is the closest Walmart from my condo. It's a Neighborhood market, so the selection is limited when compared to a Super Walmart. The produce section is not bad, it has pretty much all the basic fruits and vegetables you would be looking for. The meat section also has the basic cuts and meats you are looking for I like their Health section where I can get most of the vitamins and supplements I want. The home section is very limited. If you are looking for a variety of HVAC filters, hooks, bungee cords, hardware, you are better off heading to a regular Walmart or Super Walmart. They have plenty of cash register and several self checkouts (I wish they had more). read more

How they can screw up a simple line to the self-service registers is beyond me. It's wide open and a free-for-all completely disorganized and chaotic. I won't go there when it's busy and I try to go to the manned cash registers instead of self serve, that's how bad it is. What's mind boggling is it's a such a simple fix. Since we shop here so frequently, I thought it was a good idea to update my review. Obviously, we wouldn't come here if it weren't a good experience nor a decent grocery store to shop in. We have both their credit card and app, so payment is easy at checkout. We prefer to use the 'human' checkout lines as opposed to the scan and go ones. We figure it is easier if there is any problem and it gives a reason for the store to continue to employ those cashiers. The store itself carries most items -- there are still a few brands that we favor that they don't have, but there aren't that many of them. Meanwhile, for canned goods and frozen items, their prices are really very very good. When compared to Publix, for example, the difference is sometimes a dollar or two between the stores for frozen prepackaged and even same branded foods. This certainly adds up to considerable savings each time and even more so over the course of a year. read more

Went to customer service for a return and no one was there. After a few minutes, an employee showed up but stayed focused on texting, barely acknowledging me. She grabbed my item, kept texting, and only handled my return once she was done. If I had done that at any job, I would've been fired. Walmart needs to enforce better customer service standards. read more

When one juice everyday it's a trip to the market often . This is not the store I usually shop at ,but it was convenient since now I am watching my trips out and spending on gas . I was able to get my organic celery , cucumbers, green apples . This store has ample parking and is off federal highway . read more

I Went to customer service & money center desk and before I could even say anything the associate went to the back to grab the "manager" who then accused me (with a nasty attitude) of screaming at her associate demanding service when the only person I was able to talk to was the "manager" her self, not even a hello, (this was my first time here btw). The associate just straight up grimaced at me then turned away, and out right refused to help me. read more

This Neighborhood Walmart is usually pretty busy and parking can be a challenge. The shopping carts are sanitized by the associate standing out front. There are plenty of produce items to checkout as you make your way to the deli and bakery. Shelves are fairly well stocked but still not at pre-pandemic levels. Basics can be found and most of your shopping list can be checked off. There are usually at least two associate manned (womaned) lanes open. We avoid the self check area. read more

When I went to do my Yelp duty of checking in at Walmart, I tapped on the usual Yelp URL for it at http://www.yelp.com/biz/walmart-pompano-beach-3 and a notation that it had both moved and renovated popped up along with the following which lead me to this Yelp site. "Walmart has renovated. Check out their new business page". The fact is that none of that is true. The Walmart Store has neither moved nor been renovated. Though this site reflects this location as being a "Neighborhood Market," the fact is that this Yelp site is merely a duplicate of the original Yelp site I noted above, and as nothing has changed, my original review and opinions therein expressed likewise remain the same. "So ok, it's a Walmart, but this is a Walmart Grocery Store worth Yelping about because the prices are right, the variety large, it's clean, it's organized and it's well laid out. Had an order pickup today. There are 8 "Reserved" parking spaces for pickup only. 7 of the 8 spaces had cars parked in them (not for pickup). I waited 25 minutes for my order. I could've parked and gone in to get my items faster than ordering ahead and waiting for someone to come out to the non existent pickup reserved parking spaces with my order. The epitome of inefficiency and total lack of customer service. One star because Yelp made me. read more

I have only been to this Walmart Neighborhood Market a handful of times. My parents loved this place and with Publix constantly costing me more than I'd like, I decided to give Walmart a try. The food here is not the same food you find at your general Walmart Supercenter. The produce always looks fresh and is well maintained. There is also a fresh baked bread section. Their "everything" loaf is always soft and fresh with a great flavor. Strolling though the store, I noticed it was clean and well stocked and prices were about a dollar or more less than Publix for the same items. For example, Eggland's Best eggs run about 4 dollars a dozen at Publix. Walmart Neighborhood Market had them for $3. Overall, I purchased most of the same items I get at Publix and saved around $45 dollars on my total bill. When it comes to grocery shopping, I looked for savings without sacrificing quality. Everything seemed good until i got home from a 'pick up' order brought to my vehicle. One of the 5 items i ordered was substituted DESPITE me not permitting substitutions in my initial order. Turns out that the substitution cost me product volume. Online help from Bangladesh or somewhere was futile. SUGGESTION - despite their request to stay in car with windows up -- CAREFULLY CHECK your order as delivered. And don't let the associate go until everything is accounted for and/or replacements are agreed upon. What a s**t show. read more

Was at the pharmacy drop off. Employee talking on phone took her finger and stuck it deep into her mouth/cheek and appeared to be scraping (food?) from her bottom molar. When done, did not attempt to sanitize her hands. Most disgusting thing I have seen there yet and this store is pretty gross. Wow, this store is awesome. The prices are so much better than Publix. A loaf of bread at Publix is 450. They charge $3 here. What a savings. And that's only one item. I buy all my dry goods and vegetables here. I also like the hamburger the chicken breast for a 1. 99 a pound and the chicken thighs. I also buy their frozen strawberries peas and corn. Very inexpensive save so much money over Publix. Don't be afraid to try their house brand. I find it to be of high quality. read more

This is the only Walmart where it feels like Target. First of all it's a "green" Walmart; Second, all the staff are friendly; Third, they know how to work the equipment, and are abreast of the weekly deals and specials. Today Im sick with a cold and my ENTIRE basket is Nyquil, Soup, Puffs plus, Theraflu, you get the idea. There is Not One Human at a register to check me out. Arrrrgh!. So I go through self check and then even though there are NO OTHER CUSTOMERS in self check I still have to flag down the employee to put her code in for the cough syrup. See why I wanted a Human????? Then Im half out the door and Brosnan Security guy asks for receipt. I didnt take it as 1. Im sick. 2. ITS NOT MY JOB TO REMEMBER A RECEIPT. Needless to say I had to walk back to self check register I was using and hand it to the Brosnan Security guy. I told him I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THIS STORE. And I won't. Long long time Publix loyalist, I have happily made the switch. While Publix seems to be profiteering off the tragic pandemic, with far less sale items and higher prices than ever, Walmart prices stay the same or less. And now with AWESOME delivery to the car, this is a super pleasure. I was always skeptical with grocery delivery, preferring to pick out my produce etc, but this has been perfect. I drove 30 minutes this morning to get to this store because on the line inventory claimed they had the item I wanted in stock. When I got to the store I discovered that the item I was looking for was sold out. This evening, the inventory still claims the item is available. In this day and age, there is no reason that the inventory on line should be inaccurate. Not good!! read more
