I really dislike this target. People who work there are unhelpful and rude- and that goes double for the managers. The parking lot is an absolute nightmare anytime of day. Everything is run down and out of stock as well, or locked up. I only go there out of absolute necessity because this area doesn't have any other similar type stores close by. Do not recommend going here if you have an option. CVS is better. read more

I needed to get a six pack of Coca Cola for my sister and after stopping at a few places, I was floored that many of them were charging $6-9 for a six pack. I knew there was a chance to find a less expensive alternative. I did an AI search and it told me that Target sells them for $4.29. I went to this particular store and sure enough...I got it ! The self checkout had a long line that moved quickly. Unfortunately, when a register opens up, it does not light up or tell people to approach the register. A chance for improvement. read more

This Target has a lot of supply of everything I was looking gor. I did see some empty shelves but that probably has to do with the after holiday sales. I like the displays and the unique merchandise at this location. They had some soaps and cleaners from Mrs. Meyers on sale which was nice to see. I did have to wait a while for self checkout, much longer than usual. Only three self checkout lanes were working. No employee around to assist a customer with an issue. They definitely seemed shorthanded. read more

I'm always running into Target for my home cleaning supplies and toiletries, so when I needed to put together a little pampering package for two of my coworkers, I figured I'd stop in and see what they had to offer. This particular Target gets a LOT of foot traffic, so it can look a little disheveled at times lol -- but if you take a minute to look past the mess, there are some real treats hiding in there. I pulled together a pampering bundle with shower steamers, a scented candle, lip balm, holiday-themed hand & foot masks, a facial mask, cozy holiday socks, a cute decorative notebook, and a fancy tin of tea. Everything looks luxe, feels thoughtful, and didn't break the bank. Perfect reminder that you can make something feel special without doing the absolute most. Target stays undefeated. read more

Most major intersections in Fort Lauderdale have either a Target or Walmart. This location is a Super Target with a full supermarket, CVS Pharmacy and a Starbucks. Went directly to the clothing section at the rear of the store and the clerk directed me to a clearance display. No ribbed image tank tops which I wanted and a scattered amount of "crap" some may have fabric defects per the clerk. The graphic tees were cheap and funny as well as the gift card holder socks for the holidays for only $5.00. For shopping convenience, customers can order on the Target App, park in a specific numbered space in the front lot and a Target rep will walk out your food order. read more

Women: please be extremely cautious here, particularly if you're alone. Mothers, keep your children right beside you and do not let them out of your sight. Be aware of who is around you when you enter the parking lot, while you're shopping, and especially when you return to your car. If you are alone and something feels wrong, go back inside and ask security or an employee to escort you to your car. I have heard stories for years from women who have felt followed, watched, or unsafe at this particular location, which is why I normally only use Drive Up pick up. But after what I experienced today, I will never be shopping inside alone again. I noticed a man following me through the parking lot even after I deliberately changed aisles and weaved through rows of cars. Once inside, I noticed multiple men repeatedly following or lingering near me -- including in places like the tampon, makeup and skincare aisles, where they did not appear to be shopping. I spent more than an hour inside, partly trying to lose them. When I finally left, the same man who had followed me through the parking lot when I arrived was behind me again. Even more alarming, his car had been moved and was now parked directly next to mine, and he lingered beside me as I tried to get into my car. I cannot say what these men's intentions were, but the experience was frightening and far too many women have reported similarly unsettling experiences at this location for me to ignore it. Personally, I will be sticking with Drive Up pickup at this location. No Target run is worth feeling this unsafe. read more

I shop at this target all the time, but I know that, particularly during holidays, it gets very busy, and it's harder for associates to really take their time with you, but not this time. While shopping for a gift for my husband I stumbled on the fragrances and Danielle was extremely helpful in the Ulta department. She really took her time and made sure that I was happy with my selections. Target needs more associates like her! read more

I found what I needed quickly and had a nice price, however, I was harassed at self check out by a homeless woman asking me to buy her drink. I bought her the two dollar drink and then she proceeded to ask me four times in a row if I could get her a gift card. She said that she was going to use it for food, but I'm sure she would've given it to a drug dealer. I don't think that these people should be allowed in the store. I spoke to Nisha who checked the cameras and was able to recognize the woman to see if she may try this again. Thank you, Nisha! She went above and beyond with her service. read more

This location is pretty decent. I am usually able to find parking although it's inside a busy plaza/shopping center. This Target usually has all the new launch products that I've had to purchase that other Targets don't get. It's usually well organized and plenty of staff walking around and keeping it maintained. Never had any issues with this Target. read more

Not a bad Target. It's clean, well-stocked, and well-organized. There are plenty of self-checkouts.

I've been a regular at this Target for over a year now, popping in weekly for everything from quick grocery runs to holiday hauls, and it consistently delivers that effortless one-stop-shop vibe that keeps me coming back. The store is always bright, well-organized, and surprisingly clean shelves stocked without feeling chaotic, even during peak times like the post-Thanksgiving rush. Wide aisles make navigating with a cart (or kids in tow) a breeze, and the layout just makes sense, from the Bullseye's Play area up front to the seasonal sections that pop with fresh displays. What stands out most is the selection: it's got that perfect mix of everyday essentials and those impulse buys you didn't know you needed, like trendy home decor or exclusive brand collabs that feel a cut above the basics. Groceries are solid fresh produce, name-brand snacks, and their Good & Gather line punches way above its weight for quality and value. I've grabbed everything from tech gadgets to apparel here, and the variety never disappoints; plus, prices are competitive, especially with the Target Circle app perks stacking up savings without any hassle. Staff-wise, they're genuinely helpful and upbeat folks in electronics or guest services have sorted out questions or small swaps on the spot without making you feel rushed. Self-checkout is quick and plentiful, and they've got those dedicated pickup lanes that make Drive Up a game-changer for busy days. Even the restrooms are spotless, which is saying something in a high-traffic spot like this. Parking's ample and straightforward, no circling for ages, and the whole setup just feels convenient without the overwhelm. Value for money? Spot on you walk out with more than planned but never regretting the spend. If you're in the area, it's worth the stop; I've sent friends here for last-minute gifts or basics, and they've all raved about it. Already plotting my next trip for those holiday deals Target's nailed the season again! read more

Instead of this target, go to the one in Plantation or on University/Sterling. The customer service here is deplorable. I asked where I can find party supplies. The young lady that works there says, "I ain't gonna lie, I'm off the clock right now." She acted as if I was a bother, so I asked her, "Am I a bother to you?" She responds with, "Everything is cool." What?! Looooool this is the second time something like this happened to me at this location. I am Big on customer service. So these situations are hard to forget. read more

This Target is a great spot for shopping, as it's located in a mall. It's close to the beach, hotels, and airport, it gets a lot of inventory and turns over quite a bit. Customer service is not available. There was a problem sign. The sign in the bathing suits said one piece suits $30.00. They did not ring up that way. I'm a target fan. And shop at their stores often -- including this one for many many years. So I was surprised when Yelp doesn't show a review from me for them. I love the fact that with their credit card you get an additional 5 % off. It's not a lot, but every penny helps these days. Plus in your birthday month, you get an additional 5% more off on all your purchases. We buy a little bit of everything here. Must recently, it's the health and beauty stuff. They also know carry Clinique --my makeup of choice -- and some of my nail brands. They have self checkout, but usually on line. I'm still learning the best ways to use their app -- which includes scanning price codes and price matching. And yes, I'm sure I'll be. Ask when next in the neighborhood. read more

This is my go-to Target based solely on location and while I'm here a lot, and probably too often for my credit cards liking, it's not my favorite. One thing that really hurts this location, and it's a good thing for them, is that it is so busy. Especially on the weekend. Parking tends to be a nightmare dealing with that parking lot and the inside of the place is jammed with people. Being connected to the mall I do like the fact you can pop in and out through the side. In terms of goods, it's a pretty average size Target. There are definitely bigger stores in the area, but rarely do I go here and not find what I'm looking for. They've got the uber slow Starbucks and the Pizza Hut inside if you need a snack. Where they excess is checking out. There is usually always someone off to the side trying to wait on you with that phone device to get you out of there. Plus they manage the self checkout area really well. I've been to plenty of Targets where you wait and wait in line, but actually not here. So for all the people getting in my way as I shop, they don't bother me at check out. I'll never stop coming here so I shouldn't complain about anything here. read more

A very large Target with a huge selection! The only reason for a one less star would be due to their limited $1,$3,$5 section and it seems they always have a lot of products out of stock (at least the ones I need anyway). They do make up for it by having a larger selection of options throughout the store. Any Target staff members are always a delight. I love this location too as it is close to so many other stores like TJMaxx and HomeGoods all in the same shopping center. read more

This review isn't about Target as a whole, because everyone loves Target, am I right?? This review is instead about this location in specific- and even more specifically, manager Tim. My boyfriend and I were shopping here today on a Sunday, and noticed there was signage in the laundry detergent isle stating "buy 3 Gain products valued at $9.99 and above, get a free $10 gift card". Great deal! So we did as follows, and when we got rang up, no gift card was issued. We asked about why, and the employee wasn't sure, so, she said she would ask her manager. We waited at the register, and manager Tim came out. Tim must have been having a bad day, bad week, bad month??? Who knows. But, he came right up to the register with a photo on his phone saying "this is where reading is important because as you can see, it's items at $12.99 and above" with a very snarky attitude........ which really got my blood boiling. No, "hi how are you" or "hey guys what seems to be the problem?". But instead a snide remark insinuating that I'm unable to read. So, I then asked Tim if he could please follow me into the detergent isle so I could show him exactly what is posted. On the way, I mentioned to him that I didn't appreciate the comment he made to me, insinuating that I'm unable to read. He again smirked and said "ok, sorry" in an expectedly sarcastic tone. When we get to the isle, I show Tim that indeed it does say "9.99 and up" to which he replies "well that's not supposed to be there, someone else did that" and I mentioned that unfortunately that's not my problem..... he then said "ok" and knew he was in the wrong. On the way to retrieve my $10 gift card that I should've gotten originally, he was on his walkie talkie being rather rude to his employees stating they needed to go check the isle for improper signage. The whole situation was bizarre, and I can confidently say I feel bad for any employees, or customers, that have to deal with Tim. He was incredibly condescending to both myself, and the girls working. I wish there was another Target close to me so I could avoid this location. read more

Customer service is generally fair at best. People at the customer service counter don't always seem to know what they're doing, even what I'm pretty sure was the store manager, an abrupt pain in the you know what. I went to return a Shark Steam mop the last day of what the website said was a 90 day return period. I didn't get around to using it until a couple of days before the end of the return period only to find that it didn't work. Anyway, this most unpleasant individual asked me when I bought it and I said this was the day before the end of the 90 return and without even looking at the receipt he said the return period wasn't 90 days, but 60 because it's considered electronics. I started to remind him what the website said and he just cut me off and said 60 days, that I'd have to call shark. This was after he'd just brought the lady in front of me to tears who was trying to get clarification on why she couldn't return something. A couple of days later, I decided to call Target corporate to check on the return period and was told it was a 90 day window and it should have been accepted. Now every time I walk into that store I have an unpleasant feeling and when I see that manager, I wanna yell to everyone, "Watch out for this guy...!" And I never buy anything there anymore. It's in a mall and I just walk around and out for the exercise. :-) read more

If you're in this area, be prepared for horrendous driving, a ton of traffic, very few middle-income communities, and confusing customer service at Target. I went to get an even exchange for a defective charger for my phone and to buy a cube for the outlet. By doing an exchange and a purchase at the same time, the girl at the counter was very confused. First she did the exchange and the purchase backward. Then she chewed her gum for 10 minutes while very slowly pushing buttons on a computer. We finally got it right after a total of 14 minutes and 39 seconds. If you need customer service here, mentally prepare yourself first. read more

I rarely visited Target until I recently moved to Fort Lauderdale. Now I go almost every week due to proximity and convenience. The store is large but not Super Target large so you don't get entirely lost. Best Pro: Ample number of self-checkout stations with several helpful attendants to move things along. Some Targets don't have self-checkout. Now if only they could get customers off their phones while using self-checkout the line would move even faster. So annoying! Worst Con: Target online and mobile app that indicates stock on hand in at the Fort Lauderdale store, but when you go, it is out of stock. What a waste of time. Either remove that "feature" or get real-time at inventory stock reporting. read more

I'm going to give this review three stars, which is "OK," so it's not a bad review. I almost gave it two stars, ("Could've been better") but I'll be generous. The pluses with this Target are that it's in a small mall so there is generally plenty of free parking. The store is always clean, including the rest room (which is very important to me), and generally, the store is well-stocked with merchandise. On this trip, the store is well-stocked but not necessarily with what I was looking for. I find this quite often when I go shopping; that the store feels it necessary to stock one dozen of one item and only two or three of a similar item, which sells out faster. Then there's an empty space next to a dozen items. I don't understand that rationale. Plus, some of their prices are higher than other stores. I do a lot of comparison shopping and I look at the exact same item in each store. If one store can sell it for $5, why does another charge $6? I found several items that were higher at Target. Lastly, why don't the employees interact with the shoppers? I used the self checkout because it was quicker. But all the time I was in the store, I never spoke with an employee. I saw plenty of them, but they don't say hello, they don't ask if you need help finding anything, they don't talk to the shoppers at all. Several times I came upon two employees talking to each other, but ignoring the shoppers all around them. I have to wonder if this is the best way to run a store. I'll be back, but it's not my main store. I can get the same items for less at other stores, so I only go here if I'm in a pinch. read more

The Target at this particular location has horrible management. The entire vibe of this place is chaotic and off putting. Instead of explaining the new 10 item policy for self check out they let you fill a cart up and come back to a witch pointing at a sign for the new policy. I was forced to use a regular checkout line and deal with one of their many bitter disgruntled employees. I'd rather pay more and go to Publix and not feel like I visited the Post Office or DMV. read more

The Target staff had difficulty processing my order and basically couldn't find $130 worth of products that I paid for but didn't receive. I then had to wait an hour and a half for the first manager to figure it out. She resolved some of the issues, but not all of it. Then the second manager was called and was also on break and din't come out for another hour. I was in line for over three hours and they still didn't resolve everything. Later, I was making returns and retelling the earlier events to my friend on the phone. I was getting angry and raising my phone. I attracted the attention of the two security staff. They started to tell me to calm down and say that I was disturbing the peace and acting irrationally. I told them to back off and leave me alone and that I'm just talking to my friend and that they need to leave me alone or I'm going to get even more loud and upset. They continued to tell me to simmer down, and then the called the cops on me. The cops manhandled me to the ground by the self-checkout and handcuffed me, and I still have bruises on my leg from the incident that happened over a week ago. I am a 115lb affluent stay at home mom who has never had an altercation with law enforcement before. And, I blame Target and their staff for being so incompetent and holding me hostage there for almost 10 hours without so much as offering me a bottle of water or a banana so I wouldn't faint. It was a horrific experience, and I will never step foot in another Target again. And I hope you reconsider as well. This Target is great with the exception of the parking lot always being crazy. The shopping mall has many other retail stores it shares the parking lot with so it's a bit crazy. The staff at this location has been the nicest Target employees I've ever come across. Came here the first week of December to pickup an online order. The line was very long but thankfully they had staff coming up to people in the line to check their order confirmation and get their orders. I'm a Target connoisseur. I'm a lover of all things Target'(insert bad French accent here). I like to visit early in the morning, 8 am to be exact, so that I can amble around in a clean quiet store, pursuing the aisles, looking at the new merchandise, and enjoy window shopping. Fast forward- this Target(hard T at the end) is not That! It's extremely crowded, almost cluttered, and the restrooms are a yuck bum. I had to line the -- never mind that- but the the toilet water splashed my legs. It was a wrap for me after that. I had to run back to my hotel and change. The thought of random toilet water splashing my leg was nasty. The kicker to my horrific experience, I left my sons 17/18 in the car. They didn't want to come in and they are old enough to choose. I had such a big cart full of things and didn't have time so i just put the pile on the bottom of my cart and kept walking throughout the store.
