I visited this TJ Maxx location with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised to find some really great deals on premium designer brands for my upcoming cruise. Luckily, I was able to pick out 10 items to try on, which is the maximum allowed in the fitting room. The attendant was helpful, although she couldn't assist when I asked for a different size. The checkout line was pretty long for a weekday, but it moved quickly and I was on my way in no time. Parking was also ample. Overall, a very good shopping experience! The only thing I could do without is the announcements. I think I heard them promote their store credit card at least three times during my hour visit. read more

Out of town and in need of a something you forgot to pack for a trip, well we made a pitstop. The same layout as other TJ Maxx. It was very organized and had a good variety of merchandise in haircare and shoes. First needed a bit of assistance locating flip flops and a clerk providing the direction. The brand options were quality as well. We found what we needed for hair oil and flip flops. The checkout was also very seamless. All the staff was friendly. read more

Came here to pick up a few trip essentials. This is a well stocked store and if we weren't here for a pre-vacay stay, I could have easily shopped and loaded up my suitcase quite well. They had a great selection of toiletries, handbags, suitcases, as well as clothing items. With stores such as this, it is very easy to get caught up and peruse the aisles and aisles of items and get lost for an hour or two, without a second thought. I did stay on task though and managed to pick up the couple of items I was looking for. All in all, if you are in the Dania Beach area and forget a few essentials, this store is a great option to come to. read more

This location can be hit or miss but it's mostly a hit! While lines can get daunting the staff is friendly. There are times I come here & find absolutely what I am looking for while other times I need to make a jump over to another store on the same block for home decor items I need. Their selection of clothes is decent with some great deals. read more

I always find some cool stuff for the house at TJ Maxx. The variety of styles, shapes and colors make it easy to get something that will go with anyone's house. They do have clothing but I find their clothes to be hit or miss...sometimes they have good name brands for a great prices, sometimes, they don't. TJ Maxx always has good deals. I came here for Christmas shopping and found a wide variety of toys and games. However they place it in a few different places. When I'm in there, I want to get same games for my coworkers and I had to go to few display tables to find the same game. The staff is not really helpful when it comes to finding a product. I make this Dania Beach my go to when its time to buy TJ Maxx fashion, but today, I was really disappointed. An older staff member took care of me and it was very disappointing. She took longer than usual checking out the two items I was returning. I had my receipt and I told her. She interrupted me and said, "Let me do my job." I also had another item that I did not have a receipt for. She kept looking and looking at it. When the register told me to remove the card, I did and she said, I never told you to do that. I was going to get more stuff but after this deficient customer service, I just left. The people who work there needs to be trained in customer service. They are not there to order people around. read more

Not sure if it's me or the store, but it seems much better than when I was here right after they opened. And before most of the complex was occupied. It's still the same set up -- items are pretty much located where they are in all TJ Maxx stores. But they had a lot of new inventory including a lot of holiday and sparkly clothes for Christmas or a New Year's party. And a nice selection of pre packed items that could be used for gifts. I didn't really come looking for anything specific -- except this one top I've been scouting around for without success... Instead I found a linen dress that will be good for spring and summer travel. So even if it's something I can't wear now, I've learned over the years that if you like something a lot and it's a reasonable price, just buy it when you see it! And that what I did. The clothes are name brand and similar in quality to what you would find at a department store lbut with a discounted price. This TJ Maxx is a 21,000 foot store that opened on November 11, 2018. It is in the first wave of retail stores opening in the brand new mixed use shopping center Dania Point. Unlike a lot of brick and mortar stores that are closing TJ Maxx is actually expanding their locations. I visited this store during a recent trip to check out the new Dania Point shopping complex. Other than being newer it is exactly like every other TJ Maxx I have ever been in. They had a ton of cute housewares and decorations for Easter. I am not a fan of digging through mismatched racks to find clothes so I probably like their houseware department best. They always have the thickest and fluffiest beach towels. I also like their interesting jewelry and accessories, especially handbags. I didn't pick anything up this trip but my friend scored some towels for only $14. I have this store closer to my house so there isn't anything to draw me to this particular location. If you are in need of a TJ Maxx in this area this is at least a fresh location. read more

This was my first time shopping at TJ Maxx. My reason for coming here was that I had $50 in gift cards to use and I decided to treat myself to a couple of new outfits. Located in the Dania Pointe Plaza, TJ Maxx is a large store selling the following: * Clothing (for men, women, boys, girls, and baby) * Handbags * Jewelry * Perfumes * Hair care & hair tools * Skin care * Pet items * Shoes * Cookware * Home décor * Gourmet gifts * Toys * Intimates * Bed sheets & comforters TJ Maxx is similar to stores such as Marshalls, Burlington, and Ross whereas you literally have to go through each item of clothing to find a particular style and/or size; so you really need patience and time to shop here. The prices are moderate. My only problem was while looking in the intimates section, I saw a few bras which style and color I liked, but there were none in my size. Always my luck, never can find the cutest bras in size D. After browsing for about 25 minutes, I decide to try on some jeans and a dress in two different sizes. The female employee at the fitting room entrance was pleasant. She counted how many items I had, gave me a number, and allowed me to go into the fitting room which was very clean. I didn't like the fit of the dress and I chose two jeans which fit my body nicely. There wasn't a line at checkout so I got tended to quickly. Can't really say whether I'll be back to TJ Maxx any time soon, but who knows. Maybe I'll browse around again just to see what catches my eye. read more

My wife has been looking forward for this place to to open ever since this location has been in construction. It's located in the new Dania Pointe mall on Sterling Road and I-95. I personally don't like the idea of big shopping malls being constructed too close to where I live. I am not sure if it will help or hurt my property value but my wife loves the idea of shopping in the stores she likes in one trip. I can't argue against that. This is a totally new store with new inventories. The store layout is just the same as other stores in Fort Lauderdale and Plantation, so my wife had no trouble navigating throughout the store. Like most guys I had no interest of shopping so I just followed my wife's lead. But I have the say the store is neat, clean and organized. No items falling all over the floors and clothes were folded neatly on the tables. For a store size as big as this, I thought it was impressive. However my wife still wished the store could have been bigger...LOL! read more

I stopped by this store early on a weekday for some holiday shopping and there were great bargains, as usual. New COVID-19 measures being taken include: *125 people maximum capacity *Plexiglass between cashiers and customers *Wiping down/sanitizing check-out stations between customers *All dressing/fitting rooms are closed Overall, the store is clean and organized and everyone seemed to be taking social-distancing precautions while shopping. Took off one star because clothing items must be bought, tried on elsewhere and if it's not a good fit, then brought back to the store to return. People over 55 y/o do get a 10% discount on Tuesdays. read more

The customer service received at this store is unlike any customer service I've ever received. The girl who helped us at the cash register was polite, well spoken, attentive, sweet, and HELPFUL! She made shopping there a true pleasure and I will be going back to this TJ Maxx soon. So glad that they have wonderful people who are eager to help the customer working at this location. read more

This store is what was missing in Dania beach. It's a small store with a friendly staff. The store is well organized and strives on customer service. It evident from the staff that is always will to help. Very convenient from the highway. The plaza is new and growing. Dania Pointe will be very nice once it's completed. You can find nice deals on designer apparel and must place to shop for things for the house. Half the price on most items. I recommend this store. read more

What a waste of a building in that nice new beautiful plaza they're building. Decided to check it out for the first time and do some minor Christmas shopping, spent about 30 to 40 minutes in there filling my cart with potential gifts only to make it to the front for them to tell me their debit card machine hasn't been working all day. Great. So that's not something they could've put a sign up about?? Instead of wasting my time?! Can already tell this store is run under bad management if they can't even put up a warning sign. I mentioned it to the cashier helping me and she just looked at me and put her hands up and said I agree there should be a sign. Well if she thought there should be a sign, maybe she should've taken the initiative to put one up??? A simple sign would've saved me the time, frustration, oh and writing this review. I had called this store and spoke to Max (the manager) asking a few questions about an item and he literally did not let me finish speaking, and mid sentence he cuts me off and says "Ugh okay bye." And hangs up on me. Absolutely the worst manager there and have heard about many rude encounters about him. read more
