Yes, everything is less than $5.00 at Five Below but most of it pretty much looks like it and has less than five dollar quality about it as well. I kind of looked at Five Below as little more than another dollar tree but with a lot less in foods, home cleaning solutions, soaps, papers and the like. I purchased some hair bands (so I can keep my gorgeous natural platinum blonde hair in place) but at $2.00, not any bargain deal I'd go raving about. When I was there it seemed the big push and attraction was on candies and costumes for Halloween. Hence, a rather long checkout line but the clerks were pleasant and efficient. Though probably clean, the floor of the place looks horrible with scuff and defect marks all over it. Though it probably wasn't dirty it look so dirty I really didn't even feel like getting my shoes on it. They ought to really do something about that grunge look.

Two 10ft cables and receipt

I went in to get two 10 foot lighting cables and they were $5.95 each!!! (before sales tax). I asked the cashier why this was and she said that's it's just the price and without blinking an eye she went on to say that they have some products that go up to $10....I did purchase them, because if you get them from the Apple store they are even more, but WTH?...:. it's in the name (FIVE BELOW)...I think it's time for them to change their sign to (FIVE BELOW or MORE). Of course this is another corporate way to make money, their excuse probably would be they need to STRATEGICALLY raise their prices to catch up from the COVID19 pandemic...blah blah blah. Companies continue to rip consumers off and then they wonder why years later they are bankrupt. Hmmmmm

In the 'dollar store' category, a decent place. They pick and chose the kind of items that make sense to offer at $5 and less.

First time stopping into a Five Below location. Basically, it's a 'dollar store.' Rather, a $5 and below store. That's the hook: everything in the store is priced at $5 or below. And for what it's trying to accomplish, it does a pretty decent job. Unlike other 'dollar stores' that try to sell everything - most of which is just total crap - it looks as if Five Below really focuses on those items that can be sold at the $5 and below pricepoint. Sure, it's not the same quality merchandise that you'd find at Macy's or Bloomingdale's. But in the categories that they choose to feature, it looks as if a lot of things would be worth a try. For example, I made a great find on individual boxes of movie theater candy: Junior Mints, Raisinettes, Sno-Caps - all of those kinds of things. And most of them were selling for $1 box. Granted, the boxes were slightly smaller than the boxes that you generally find at movie theaters. But the savings are huge. Last time I went to a 'national chain movie theater,' I'm pretty sure that I paid $3 or $4 for one box of Reese's Pieces. So, the $1-per-box price at Five Below is an amazing deal. In fact, I stocked up on a lot of those candy items. Two bags full. Looked like I'd been trick-or-treating in 1978. Also, Five Below had a pretty good selection of basic cell phone accessories - cases, chargers, cords, etc. Seemed to have a lot of earbuds and headphones, too. Other things that might be handy (and cheap...!!!) at this time of the year included a lot of plastic drinkware and tableware items for summer that you could use around the pool, on the patio or at the beach. Lots and lots of pool/water toys, too. Also had a small-ish selection of books for both adults and kids. Some clothing items, like t-shirts and stuff. Some simple athletic gear and smaller athletic accessories like water bottles. (How often do we lose one of those...??? All the time...!!!) Had a make-up/personal care area, too. Looked to be mostly basic items, but that's not really my wheelhouse. Looked good to me, though. If you're in the area, might be worth a quick browse through the store to see if there's anything you might need for a couple of bucks.

5 below is just that, anything you could possibly want to buy under $5 bucks. I have been to two of their locations, this one and the one in Deerfield off Powerline. Both times I was there on a weekend and both times the lines were really long. So if you are planning on going here on a weekend, have patience, or do what we did and leave someone in the line so that when you are ready to check out, hopefully they will be near the front.

I walked into this store because I was so intrigued....from the outside all you see are colorful…read morenecklaces, chains and rings displayed....when you walk inside it's a sea of these items and much more....all over a very small store. The amount of necklaces is overwhelming....I can't tell you how many there could be, but I would bet it would be in the thousands....They are displayed on top of each other or next to each other. The lady was chatting with a local when I walked in, so I did not have a chance to interact with her, but if you are looking for some fun and colorful beads for anyone, this is a place to check out....

Dolly's does not have their own parking lot but there is inexpensive metered parking around the corner. The store is crammed from floor to ceiling with costume jewelry but is arranged by type and color. Best of all it is very inexpensive. Most of it is fake but I did see a few sterling pieces. Based on the tags I saw like the ones from Macy's, it seems to be overstocks. This is the kind of place you want to enjoy exploring with you girlfriend or daughter. If you have that certain outfit that needs the finishing touch, you can find the perfect statement piece inexpensively. Have a ball digging through designer sunglasses, rings, earring, bracelets, and necklaces. If you need any recommendations, give me a ring!
