I'm not sure why there are so many lower rated reviews, I was recently here and it was great! You're not allowed to enter the store without a mask on, much like many other places, and that's definitely a good thing in my opinion! This dollar store had all the newest stuff for summer front and center on little racks. The only thing is it seemed all thrown on the shelves so it was very disorganized but still you were able to see and find anything you needed. Obviously the prices are great here (everything for $1 each?) and while the price may be good, it's very generic quality and could break easily, depending what you buy. Overall though, this is a nice dollar store to stop in and they take their health and safety very serious at this time, which is also a benefit and made me feel safe! read more

This location recently turned into a Dollar Tree. It used to be a pet supply store that had a few animals and some really interesting-looking fish. I used to stop by here when I went to Creams and Dreams just to look at all the fish. There's also a Painting with a Twist next door. I'm sad that the pet store closed down, but this Dollar Tree is decent for a couple of reasons. Like a true dollar store, everything here is priced at simply $1. Not only that, but they have a pretty good selection of items that I actually cared to purchase that weren't trash. I bought some air freshener for the bathroom, kleenex tissues, a pack of two sizable rolls of electric tape, some picture frames that looked fancier than $1, plus a few other items. All were off-brand items, of course. With that said.. don't expect great customer service from a dollar store. read more

Dollar Tree - Front - Discount Store Near Me - Davie, Florida

When I moved to FL, this store was my god. Everything is $1 and really decent quality! I was in so much shock shopping here the first time. In NYC, we had 99 cent stores where items were complete crap and layered with dust. Not here! And they sell name brand items, such as Betty Crocker, Glad, etc. I have visited this location the past 8 years more than all dollar tree stores combined I have visited lol. The store is pretty well maintained, considering. There was maybe 4 or 5 times I went for a specific item and it was not stocked. I have visited here for so many unusual items that I was surprised to be here. I mean they even sell helium balloons! They have a helium tank and have some balloons already floating but if you want something that is not already there, they will provide the helium. Thanks to Dollar Tree, I have been able to live a decent life as a broke PhD student lol. The values are great! Multi packages of Tupperware that would cost more than $4 at another store. 64oz of body wash that costs $8 (that one I actually looked up on the internet)! The only minor negative is most times you are waiting on line for ten minutes or more. I think it is due to lack of staffing. I never had a negative experience with any of the staff at this location either so that's a relief! read more

The WORST dollar tree. The lady blowing up the balloons had a really bad attitude. I know I haven't wrote a review in awhile because of this corona virus craze but here I am. So they ran out of Mother's Day balloons because they don't limit people to how many they can get. You have people getting 5+ balloons and some only needing one. They are always out of helium! They ran out within the first hour that they opened.... Everyone in line was flustered and left but I saw a decent balloon left that just needed a little more air but when I gave it to her and asked she popped it in front of my face. If they couldn't give me more helium I would I have just taken the balloon just the way it was. But no.. Sorry, you're not having an exceptional Mother's Day. You're not the only one who has to work... read more

I haven't been in a dollar store in a VERY long time. I'm hosting a baby shower at work and I'm on a budget, so I took a chance and boy did it pay off! They have a whole baby shower section and I bought all the paper goods I needed for less than $20! Plastic table clothes, paper plates, napkins, cups and cutlery all matched and say "Baby Girl." All items look brand new, not as if they have been sitting on a shelf forever. I looked around the whole store. Very well organized and up to date with upcoming holidays. They have items from kitchen to bathroom of decent quality. I was really impressed with their kitchen selection of dish towels and pot holders. They don't have silicone, but hey, it's $1. I've been shopping at the Dollar store for several years now, but tonight I encountered the rudest and most unpleasant employee ever at the Cooper City store location . Her name was Vanessa. She appeared miserable and mad at first glance.I unfortunately made the mistake to ask her a simple question and in front of other customers, she was rude & sharp in tone and unwilling to be helpful as if I had done something wrong to her personally. Needless to say, she was "Not costumer friendly at all" but worst , she's was nasty to deal with . , I'm never going to that location again. Keep her and I promise, I won't be the last complaint nor the last boycott. She's meannnnn!!!! read more

I have been coming to this Dollar Tree more often because it is closer to my job and on the way home. It is hidden away in a large plaza, but don't let that fool you. Once you go into the location it is quite vast and probably one of the neater stores I've seen. The shelves seem to be well stocked and unless it's slammed (which I haven't experienced), I'm always greeted with a smile - either upon entrance or at the checkout. Overall, I don't really have complaints about the store. However, go in with a realistic expectancy of what you might find. No crystal vases, fine china, or hardwood furniture here. LOL read more

I came to purchase a few things and a lady by the name of Vanessa was on the register, this women was looking like She's been having a bad Life. Mean mugging and all...so I asked her hey are u ok? And she answered "whats wrong with you"..She said she does not have to even have to attend me, she also told me I should go shopping at publix, I replied what do u mean??..she put all my stuff to the side and told me to leave the store. Leave the store for asking you what's wrong with u???...She continued been very abuse verbally and I told her maam "why are u talking to me like that?" And I asked to speak to a manager..she said "I'm not going to talk to nobody". I asked the guy on the next register and she told him to "ignore me"..I never once cursed at her ..and I told her she better cash me out if not I'm calling the police since I had my wife and kid waiting in the car..She continued been very rude..."I told her u need Jesus in her life and her"...her name was Vanessa. One of the best dollar stores.I shop there twice a week before I go to Wall Mart.or Walgreen or Publix. I find many items that are one dollar.Compared to many dollars at the other stores.The people working there are the nicest people God bless them.They work hard and fast and need more help but are always very nice. read more

This is a very different store in the sense that is very clean, great location, and I liked the people that worked there, they do not have an attitude, very helpful, patient with customers. Overall the best dollar store so far, compare to the others. I was looking for something and was not finding it, so I asked a lady named Brigit to help me, and she went out of her way, even checking in the back for what I wanted in spite that the store was very busy. She went 150 miles for me, very caring, and customer service oriented, of course this will be my dollar store of choice. Hope headquarters is payiong attention. read more
