I am a regular buyer at this location. Today, I tried to return some Easter items but was told by an associate, Beverly and the manager on duty, that even though I had a receipt I could no longer return them as they no longer have Easter items in the store. I was okay with that, no problem and agreed. What happened next caught me off guard. As I placed the basket with the items I was buying on the counter, Beverly told me I couldn't place it there, to take it down and place my items on the counter without the basket. She refused to simply do her job, all she had to do was take them out and scan them so I could pay. As the "manager on duty" overheard this, she took them out of the basket herself and placed the basket behind her, "saying, "there you go Beverly, stop." Next, Beverly angrily started scanning my items. I couldn't understand why she had such a bad attitude. To top it off, after scanning and bagging my items, she placed my gift card and my receipt on the very back of the counter. SHE DID NOT hand them to me as she does with every other customer. I noticed this rude attitude again and I pointed out to the "manager on duty" who once more said "Beverly, Stop." That's all she said. I love Homegoods, but Managers should hire people that love to work and that enjoy helping customers, because when you are helped by an incompetent, non- skilled, cashier like Beverly, it sure ruins the whole shopping experience. I bought 4 items today but left the store not happy.

I haven't met a single person whose not a HomeGoods fan. Even men try to pretend they're not but I see them browsing the aisles and they seem to enjoy it. This HomeGoods takes the cake! By far the most organized and well kept store I've visited. I went looking for a specific planter and was dreading the visit only because in my mind it meant the potential for frivolous spending and back and forth walking from one end to the other searching treasures. I literally walked right to the section and was able to quickly assess they didn't quite have what I was looking for. I took it upon myself to walk the entire store aisle by aisle and I was thoroughly impressed. Everything was labeled, well thought out, organized, clean and I was in and out of the store in less than 30 minutes... (with a purchase of course.) I would've obviously assumed it's because the store is new however it's been around now a few years yet it still feels and looks new and that makes me proud. My neighborhood HomeGoods is indeed a rare treasure.

Ross Store Complaint…read more As I'm at checkout at a register, I see my older elderly mother in-law patiently waiting for me. Now she had already payed and had a Ross bag of her own. This tall security guard wearing a SWAT team tactical uniform starts staring at her and starts to question what's in her bag. He immediately walks towards her and starts checking her bag and asking for her receipt to verify if she's purchased the items. She mentions to him, you've already saw me checking out at register. Even after he's finished checking her bag, he hasn't taken his eyes off of her and keeps starring at her, making her feel uncomfortable. My mother in-law asked him if there was something wrong. And as nice as she is, she's also asked him if he'd like a peace of gum because that's what she ended up grabbing from her purse because she likes to chew mint gum. My mother also asked him, if there was a problem because she felt uncomfortable. I was at the register about to walk out the door towards where they were and ask him if he sees anything suspicious, he just ignored me and just asks for my receipt. Now this guy just saw me at the register. By law you don't have to show receipt if you seriously don't want to. I did anyways and asked him why he's being so rude. He doesn't show any signs of hospitality, kindness, not even a smile and he demands your receipt at the door and he looks at you suspiciously, as though you've stolen something. As consumers we have our rights by law. It's called Shopkeepers Privilege Law. I was upset with this security guard and told him, I didn't have to show him anything because I've payed my product at register in full. My mother in-law is in her 80's and it upset me more, that the security guard hired by the store would actually insinuate suspicion of elderly woman committing fraud, because that's what Ross is implying and that's violating our rights. They've got everything they need for security, they've got camera's, face detection, live security guards and other floor attendants. I would have made a complaint but the people that have been hired, specially the mangers actually are more rude and have been known to rase their voices at customers. The next time I go in this store I will try documenting these recurring events on video and post it on YouTube and may even write the Ross corporate office and consult my lawyer. This shouldn't be happening and corporate chains need to stop treating customers like cattle. We pay for their goods, keeping them in business. It's not our fault if other people are steeling their inventory, they shouldn't be mistreating us because of it. It's not welcoming and it's not nice. If I'm walking into the store, I shouldn't be getting an eyeball or a hard stare instead of a warm welcome to Ross store.

This Ross is pretty ample with a great selection of clothes, shoes, purses, any nice things for…read moreyour house specially your kitchen. I was looking for a office chair but I couldn't find it. They had over six cash registers working and that was very nice. Plus they have security people working and I like that.
