I usually find something I love every time I visit this Burlington location; the selection is great and the prices are very affordable. I've purchased several home décor items and perfumes here and have been really happy with them. My only issue is the checkout experience. Despite having 11 registers, there are typically only 2-3 people working, which leads to lines of 15-20 customers waiting to pay. I've visited at different times; from shortly after opening to midday to evening and it's consistently the same. Aside from the long wait at checkout, it's a great store with good finds. read more

I don't frequent BCF's but I've been known to go there a time or two for coats when I'm getting ready to travel outside of south Florida in the winter months. However, today I went to Dicks Sporting Goods and there was a woman inside showing her friend a super cute dress she'd just gotten at Burlington and since I needed summer dresses I was like, WHY NOT? Things went bad from the moment I entered. As soon as I walked in, I couldn't enter because there were stanchions at the entrance stopping me from entering. Then a man walked up and says something along the lines of, "Hello ma'am...we are conducting security surveillance in the store today and wanted to inform you. Thank you for your time and patience." Then he removed the rope and let me in. I immediately felt like, WTH?!!" But then I was like, just be patient. No one else seems upset. So I go to the women's section and pick out several dresses to try. I go to the fitting room, try on, didn't like anything. Went back out to look for sets, found several very cute lightweight pants and short sets. Grabbed about 6 sets and returned to the fitting room. I got inside and began attempting to try on the first set. However, the set was clasped together with one of those security devices so I couldn't even separate the top from the bottom. I looked at all the other outfits I had and they all had this issue. How are you supposed to try anything on if it's clasped together?? Sooo I get dressed and go to the fitting room attendant and ask her to remove them. She says, " ohhh yeah...you gotta go to the cashiers station because I don't have the things needed to remove those." I almost left but a few of these outfits were SO CUTE so I decided to just go with it. I walk up and the line for the cashiers area was super long. I asked the security guy if he could take it to the counter and have them remove them for me. He reluctantly did it, saving me from being chewed out by people who had been waiting in line. The cashier said she would remove the devices but then after standing and waiting for her for 9 minutes, I finally waved at her and she looked at me and said, "oh I forgot about you!" (Maybe not those exact words but that's basically the way I took what she said) She removed them and I returned to the fitting room only to stand in line to get into a room. I finally got into a room and tried everything on. But as I'm standing there in my underwear, I saw red stickers on the mirrors that said "shoplifters will be prosecuted" and it made me wonder if that's what it meant when the man told me they were surveilling so then I felt completely mortified like WERE THEY WATCHING ME GET DRESSED AND UNDRESSED THIS WHOLE TIME?!!!! So as I was exiting the fitting room, I said to the attendant, "you know this feels a bit like overkill! This surveillance thing is scary, the security tags clasping two piece sets together is insane, the security checkpoint at the entrance is diabolical! Like as a customer, the last thing I want to do is feel like a shoplifter. I don't shop lift and though I know there are people that do this, THE ENTIRE CUSTOMER BASE HAS TO SUFFER and be treated like criminals too. Like I was even nervous to place my cell phone in my pocket because I thought I'd look like I was stealing. Not good!!! The way I see it is this...people shoplift and people shop. Don't make the shoppers suffer for the wrong doings of others. If you have surveillance in the ceiling, cool! But if I enter the fitting room, they count my items and hand me the number that coincides with the number of items I have and then when I leave and you count my items and it matches the number you gave me, then that means I DIDNT TAKE ANYTHING. BUT THEN YOU ALSO HAVE OTHER MEANS OF SURVEILLANCE AROUND THE STORE SO YOU NEED TO RELY ON THAT. Stop making the customers feel like a part of your problem. I hate feeling like I've done something wrong just for simply existing within the walls of your store. Do better!! And this isn't just for BCF...all stores that go above and beyond to make sure their customers feel like criminals is bad business...very bad in my book! I will NEVER EVER RETURN HERE. I WILL SHOP WHERE I FEEL APPRECIATED AND WHERE STORES UTILIZE THEIR SURVEILLANCE TO SURVEIL THE STORE instead of putting on the security heat within the store and making us feel uncomfortable. Had a horrible experience being helped and ringed out by Kenia. She was very impatient and crude. She seemed upset that there was a long line behind me but, if that was the case, then call for back up! Contact through the walkie-talkie and ask for help at the register! Don't take it on the customers! She has poor customer service. read more

I always forget that there is a Burlington on Pines. I dropped in to purchase some last-minute baby items that I felt I needed before baby came. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of items that had. Not Burlington itself but this location particularly. I honestly prefer the Burlington at Dolphin Mall. Regardless I was able to get everything I wanted and at 9 months pregnant swiftness of finding my selections was perfect. In and out of the store, that's what I was hoping for. NOT! I do not know who does the scheduling or if employees were simply hiding so that they didn't have to get on the register but I waited in line for 45 minutes; me and my very 9 months pregnant belly. Checking out took longer than it took for me to shop. There were only 2 registers open and the line surpassed the "cue line". No one called for assistance at the front nor did anyone volunteer to come assist. This was my first time here and will certainly be my last. I'll go to the Burlington on 441 before I come back here. Shoot I'll even go to Dolphin Mall before going back there. read more

When you go to Burlington sometimes you feel overwhelmed with all the stuff they have in store they have from clothes to house things to animals to babies things and more. But this location you have so much to do. Around the plaza and this store is honestly not overwhelming. Although all Burlingtons seem to be huge this is the neatest more organized store I've been in so far that is a Burlington. And I am so happy I found it. It's one of the new ones. And they have so much great items. So much to buy and I feel relaxed. And can find everything I need it's a plus they also have lots of Disney items since most Disney stores closed down. And all the holiday stuff the lines may be long but it's so worth it. They are nice and fast. read more

I love going to Burlington because I'm sure I'll find something I want, even if I didn't go for that item. I love browsing around all the departments, from toys, kid's clothing, shoes, purses, home, and beauty. The only downside to shopping here is the checkout line, so be sure to bring your patience. read more

Burlington in itself has great things at great prices this store however diminishes their culture because EVERYTIME I come to shop, the line is so unbearably long that I've left carts off to the side only to be so upset with looking at a line going past and around the socks and shoes for men or the lettering of the wall that says "oh look, you found another great deal." The first time I waited, no kidding I sat in line for about an hour and a half if not more... and if it wasn't for the first time I came not knowing and having a FULL cart of stuff already being in the store shopping for an hour... Never again. It's so ridiculous just seeing 2 cashiers handling the line while other employees aimlessly walk around. read more

The lady on the phone was SUPER NICE and welcoming when I asked if my dog would be allowed if we had her in a stroller since we were on vacation and my dog was sick so I couldn't leave her, she was nice and said as long as the dog wasn't running around and causing trouble then absolutely! I was really grateful and really enjoyed our time finding a bunch of stuff and being able to take our grandma out of the house and family shopping! read more

My review is based on the culture of the store. This is my 2nd day straight coming here just to make sure. The entire time I was shopping nothing but Spanish music. Only Spanish music. I'm not in Spain or Mexico. This is America. I'm not against the music, but the entire time! No variety at all. I feel for the non Spanish speaking employees. Obviously management doesn't. Needless to say, I'll seek another Burlington or another shopping arena all together. read more

Avoid this Burlington. Lines are always extremely long. It takes 1 hour to checkout every time. Sadly, there's no separate line for returns so you'd have to wait in the same line. Terrible customer service. read more

I shop for home decorations and love it here. The only thing is that they don't have lots of inventory which can be bad for business. I go there and usually walk away with one to two pieces. read more
