Macy's in Pembroke Pines is one of the most organized Macy's I have found I love visiting the store. I always find something I fall in love with who would not in a department store. Specifically came to the Macy's here at the Pembroke Lakes Mall to continue the quest of finding a gown for the wife. Each Macy's receive different inventory skews, therefore, we must browse each one a few times per month. This is a two story Macy's with the gown section just an escalator ride up to the top floor. I sat in a green velour chair hoping the wife finds a great gown. Macy's offer most high end brands of purses and perfumes including an actual ToysRus section. My sister and I went to Macy's to look for birthday presents. We decided to go to the fragrance counter for Jo Malone and Versace. This was an experience on its own!! We received awesome assistance from both Edwing and Lisolette! Edwing works the Versace fragrances, while Lisolette is for Jo Malone, however, what makes these two such a great team is that they both help each other if someone is busy! And I love love LOVE that so much! At first, we were looking for the newest Jo Malone scent that was brought back, Ginger Biscuit. They didn't have it yet and so, my sister decided she wanted to spray the ones that they did have so she can smell them. It was funny because while I was spraying on the tester sticks to smell them, I think she could've sprayed every inch of her body with a different scent! lol She was so cute! Lissolete was super helpful with bringing more suggested scents out and Edwing was awesome with assisting my sister in matching her pH with the best scent for her! It worked cuz the ones she chose were delicious on her! I have smelled the Versace fragrances before, my daughter wears Dylan Blue, but there were several scents that I haven't been introduced to. Idk howcome! I thought they were overpowering but I'm just going to say that Edwing made me fall inlove with a scent that I HAD TO HAVE! lol What was awesome about it is that he gave us a great deal and even suggested to purchase the best value with free gifts!! I loved it so much that my sis decided she was also going to give one to our other sister for her birthday!! Also...let me tell you about their scent samples! Edwing provided us with some awesome samples for both Versace and Michael Kors for our husbands and sons. After he already provided us with the gentlemen's samples, he caught me smelling another female perfume and he asked me if I liked it...I thought it would be great for my daughter but I wasn't sure if she'd like it as much as I do so he also gave me a sample for her! I left with a nice bit of samples for my fam to test and now if they like them...guess where I'll be going to purchase them? You guessed it...with Edwing at the Versace counter at Macy's in Pembroke Lakes Mall. We bought 2 bottles from both counters. lol We will definitely be back there soon! I came here this past Sunday to purchase a new pair of jeans for concert. I am attending. Based on my experience, the three star average sounds about right. Even though Macy's has their separate menswear "store" there were very few sales people on the floor. As it were, if it wasn't for my ladyfriend's advice and my own work and looking for a size I would have gone elsewhere. Does that mean Macy's should be paying me a salary for doing the work? :) The pants look good and fit, but the store should get the point that if I go to purchase something in the mall, I don't want to just look for the app or do the work myself. There should be employees on the floor helping customers. read more

The Macy's department stores are definitely not the same which was shown by the inventory selections. This one at the Pembroke Lakes Mall had a small section of gowns and formal wear with nothing worth trying on. The one unique thing would be the Macy's Cafe on the first floor where I had a Starbuck's strawberry refresher. read more

This Macy's has been around for years and they did remodeled it very nice, especially in the women's store. But I was shocked to go there and walk in and see the beautiful stairs and see the beautiful cologne and a variety of brands that are available and see how nicely clean it was. But then I looked at the stairs to go upstairs and the stairs are off. I told one of the attendance about it and she told me I'll just take the elevator. I was there in business the whole day I came back again and the stairs were still off. First, they should be blocked off because it does pose some type of risk. Other than that the store is clean and it looks like the remodeling has done it well with certain amount of traffic. Another thing is I'm walking in the cologne section and they have the usual Macy's cologne personnel offering you colognes and a girl gave me a strip, and it was for women and a man kind of confusing. I told her and she said oh yeah it's women's? Other than that the store looks good and I'm glad to be better. Great idea to put the café right at the entrance that's superb. And of course Macy's with their great sales makes a difference that particular they have plenty of sales and I was able to shop. I don't know give it a B. read more

I'm a big fan of Macy's in general, especially when it comes to getting clothes. This review is for the men's department specifically, although there's plenty of great things to find in their other departments. They carry a ton of brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica & more. I like how the sections are organized by brand which help me decide what to look for. Whether it's shirts, jeans, shorts, bathing suits or socks you'll find it here. If you're looking for shoes or sandals, they carry a good selection. Multiple dressing rooms around make it convenient to try things on quickly. The wide variety of brands gives you good options at multiple price points. Of course, there's some things that are overpriced but I'd say generally you'll find some great deals here. You just have to look. If you sign up for their rewards program you can get additional discounts which are really good. They also run deals online so I like looking there. You can get any item shipped to the store for free. The store can be messy at times but usually it's kept organized pretty well. There's always a good handful of employees around at any given time. They're typically friendly & never mind helping out when I ask. The central location in the mall makes it very convenient to get to. There's plenty of parking in the surrounding area outside, as well. read more

I have been a fan of Macy's for years...sometimes I have felt they have been very avant-garde in regards to fashion, sometimes I feel they lag behind other stores. This last visit I was surprised and pleased to see many fun looking, colorful shorts for men. The variety from swimming trunks to dress shorts was very large and the prices were not bad...even better when they go on sale or when you have a coupon. Good job Macy's !!!!! read more

This store has gotten a little worse. Part of the upstairs is very cluttered now and looks like a hurricane went through it each time I come here. It is not the most pleasant shopping environment. They don't seem to have as nice of a selection of shoes as they used to. And of course they are always shorthanded so you need to pack your patience if you want to try on some shoes. I am always bombarded by the fragrances salespeople. I am not flattered lol It stresses me out. I haven't really bought anything here in a bit. One escalator and often both are not working. This has been going on for maybe 6 months now. There is only one elevator that holds a maximum of 6 people. I have waited 10 minutes in a line just to ride the escalator back down. I wish I could be more positive but this store could use some improvements. read more

On this visit I came to purchase Valentino's Donna Born in Roma perfume for my 16-year-old and my niece who just turned 17. As I was ready to check out, I wasn't stunned that the associate tried to get me to buy the boxed gift sets but what did surprise me was that the store was decorated so early for Christmas with matching music playing throughout. It had been awhile since I've been to this Macy's location. I'm referring mainly to their Men's store area. I was a bit disappointed with how it's turned out. I went on a Saturday so I knew it was going to be packed. However, off the bat the store was extremely disorganized and not to mention hot. I think the AC wasn't working just at Macy's because everywhere else in the mall was fine. I know Macy's is always a little pricey but their clearance was severly lacking. Then again with clearance it can sometimes be a matter of luck. They had a few discounts going on so that was good. The cashier and staff were super nice and doing as much as they could despite the large crowds and lines. That was one of the few good things about this location. I enjoy going to Macy's every now and then but this experience makes me want to avoid this location entirely. read more

Years ago, I worked for a Florida favorite called Burdines. Now, Burdines is Macy's. What is new is something called Backstage and you can get deep discounts. For an example, Wick Candles are sold at an unbelievable cost of $9.99. Same candle at Yankee Candle is $24. You can get clothes, kitchen ware, bedding and gifts in this area. However, I think these items are final sales. There is another area called Last Act. These items arrive here before they are sent to Back Stage. The downside is that it is hard to find a sales clerk or a register. I remember when I worked for Burdines at times we had more clerks than shoppers. We would crawl over each other to get to the customers because we were on commission. Macy's continues the commission method of sales, but I have yet to see clerks run for my item, snatch it out of my hand and tell me their name. read more

I like how organized this Macys is and the great deals and sales they have even if you don't have there credit card. They always try to give you they also have an award program you can sign up for free. The clothes are always cute and accessories and just about all the have. Perfumes and all . I always walk out with something . I always love the fashion. The only downfall is it's hard finding someone to check your stuff out . It' seems to be empty most of the time in certain sections. But if they are around at the time. Then they are very nice and helpful if you don't see your size on the racks they tend to have it in the back or can order it for you . Why I would shop at Macy's again - they have some very nice jewelry. What would slow my roll towards Macy's? * Overnight delivery fail - I bought several pieces of jewelry online because there was a 75% off sale. Three pieces were available for overnight delivery for $10 so I went with it. The next day, without giving us any delivery time, a guy dressed in shorts came out of his car in our driveway, carrying a knotted white plastic bag like you get from CVS. He knocked at our door without ever ringing the bell. Then he called me from his Atlanta, GA phone number that didn't identify a delivery service or Macy's. I didn't pick up that call because I don't know anyone in Atlanta. He returned the items to the store so we had to drive to the mall because the sale was ending that day. (we checked our cameras later on and discovered he stopped by) * Store experience discomfort - The manager met us and listened to what happened. She apologized and introduced us to a counter person who'd help us. The counter person was rude to customers who approached her to ask simple questions - like where's costume jewelry. She answered by saying she's with a customer and her shift ends after. We were her customer and we were put off by how she treated others - I even suggested she just answer them because we're relaxed, it's ok. But she refused. She also told us that the sale of the jewelry the delivery guy returned ended at 1 p.m. and we can't have the prices we had on the order. I showed her the order on my phone and she got permission to honor 1 of the item's sale price. She said she had another discount but that was it. I asked her what the other discount would be and it turned out to be more of a discount! Why not just pitch it like that instead of telling the customer they lost out on a sale? Even so, while in the store, we found more jewelry to buy, like my husband's 1 carat chocolate-diamond- accented bracelet! * Overcharged bill - 5 days after my online order, Macy's shipped a pair or earrings and a necklace from the order. They were $100 on sale for $25. But one receipt showed $42.80. When I called about it they told me I ordered a rush delivery on the earrings. I asked what kind of rush delivery would a 5 day lapse be? And wouldn't she think I'd be hot if I did order a rush delivery? She credited the charge - look at your bills!! Assume nothing. Poor shipping - After the delivery in a plastic bag, a small UNSEALED box was delivered to me - see the pic, the liner is still on the glue line - with THREE pair of earrings! Luckily no one opened the box and helped themselves to diamond and semi-precious stone earrings...at holiday time...from their hub in NJ! Wow. The last order came 12/6 - the order was placed 11/29. They took my online order and chopped it into many separate deliveries. Why? *Bad product descriptions - I ordered 3 pairs of earrings that looked the same but had different stones - emerald, sapphire and topaz. For whatever reason, the topaz earrings are on a huge loop whereas the other pairs are on small hoops appropriate for the size of the setting. You won't find overall size or hoop size or any description like that on their site. You have to lead with faith or flexibility. I'll be gifting the topaz pair. At the end of the day, when you see me sporting beautiful jewelry, just know I paid the (customer service fail) price. read more

My daughter found something that she wanted but couldn't find it in a box. I brought it to the register to find out if they could locate it at another store. The sales associate, Naylande, was very friendly and helpful. They were closing in 40 min but she wasn't bothered by our request and checked their system to see which locations had what we were looking for. She gave us the printout which showed which stores had it and how many each store had. Naylande tried to call the store where we wanted to pick it up but she couldn't reach anyone. I was really impressed that Naylande went out of her way to help us. Five stars for a great customer service! read more

I would say this Macy's really deserves a three and a half star rating. They have revamped the Cosmetics Department which is refreshing. I walked in today and saw they added a Jo Malone perfume bar. I was honestly surprised by this because usually Jo Malone is in more upscale department stores. I do enjoy Jo Malone products and purchase them sometimes so I was happy to see these at Macy's. I actually got good customer service today because the store was pretty empty. Normally, it is hard to find someone to help you, especially in the clothing department. They did not have my size though. The young lady looked up what stores did have my size and told me the item was not available on the website. She told me to call the store directly. Curiously, when I got home I checked the Macy's website and sure enough they did have my size. I ordered it right then and there without having to call or go to the Coral Square Mall. Maybe she was just checking other stores in the area and not the official Macy's website. She was very nice so I think it was just a misunderstanding. They are getting ready for the holidays and the store was nicely maintained today. One thing I do not particularly like is that the shoe department is totally different now. It reminds me of something like a Marshalls or TJ Maxx. All the shoes are out and I think it detracts from the Macy's quality name. So I decided to treat myself a few days go to some makeup from Estee Lauder and some perfume from Chanel but due to a family emergency and needed money to go back home so I found myself having to return items and I've been troubled by it ever since, it literally took 2 managers Ashley and Anna to come to the counter to I guess approve my return they literallymade me feel very uncomfortable like I had committed a crime(while black) I've heard of how my kind I've been treated in Macys stores but not until today did I have such an awful experience and of course if it were to happen again I wouldn't hesitated to contact an attorney becuz it's really sad read more

Macy's, the place where my wife likes to shop for clothes and shoes. Where I stand around staring into empty space wondering when I'll get to leave. This Macy's, which is closest to me, is the women's Macy's. So you get clothes, purses, jewelry, perfume, and makeup. Overall, the store is clean and organized, like most Macy's it usually is. Except, sometimes the shoe area looks like it exploded but that's because people get in there and they for some reason don't know how to put things back. Customer service, really depends on the department. Upstairs clothing, 100 percent on the ball. Perfume area, hit or miss, Sometimes they're all over you and sometimes I've walked out because no one said anything to me. Purse area is ok, shoe area they need more people, the rest of the store is pretty good when it comes to customer service. This Macy's has a quick bite area, where you can get food or drink. I've never used it but it's there if you want to try it. Overall, it's one of the better Macy's I've been too, I don't feel stressed when shopping there and it's clean. Staff is knowledgeable with any questions you have but not overly friendly. It is located in a good area and easy to access however for me there was not enough options and a lot of the items are overpriced for what they are. The only way I would really go there is if I had a coupon or gift card other than that I would wait until there is a very good sale because nothing catches my eye there. They have a women's section that also sells perfume is a bit further down the mall so if you don't find anything here you can always search the other store they have for more items that may suit your needs read more

I love Macy's and will always love shopping at Macy's. I think it has a lot to do with the shopping I did and still do with my Mom, it's our bonding time. Macy's, back in the day was completely different being a more high-end, luxurious shopping type of experience. Today's Macy's is a bit different. This location feels more like a bargain store with a bit of chaos thrown in the mix. It's kind of theatrical to watch the busyness of the patrons and employees moving around and about all with agendas to fill. I am a fan of their sales. They seem to always have something on sale that I can take advantage of. Whether that be clothing for me and my family or something for our home, or during the holidays a gift for a friend. Make sure to check their circular for information on upcoming sales. They usually tell you when it's a good time to shop and save some money. read more

I arrived ten minutes before they opened. The second floor walk over makes it convenient to get straight to the departments that I like best. The manager that opened pointed me in the right direction for what I was looking for. Then she called someone to come help me. Within minuted we both picked out the same dress. I had 5 dresses to try on but I knew I already liked that one. I tried the rest just to see and was out the door in less than 20 minutes. The customer service was excellent. Stopped in at this Macy's during a Black Friday in July sale. The store had excellent deals- I was able to purchase three business-professional dresses, a suit, and a sweater all for $144! The store was well-staffed, but due to the nature of the sale, some of the wait times were longer than expected. However, the waits were well worth it for the considerable bargains. Almost everything I purchased was 80% off retail price or more. I was impressed by the store's commitment to safety- all staff were wearing masks, gloves, observing social distancing, and had hand sanitizer available at the registers. Millions of workers but maybe only one is eager to help. They ignore you and pretend as if they do not hear you unless you're in the perfume section, which I guess it's because they work off commission. I also called last week to ensure they had an item and kept being put on hold and then hung up on, this went on for an hour. I told them I was in direct contact with somebody who had covid and had to quarantine and they still told me is best to go in. In terms of department stores, I would say Macy's is on the upper middle tier class for the moderate to semi affluent shopper. They have very fashionable articles of clothing with inventory that constantly changes ever season. Yes, they cost more than JCPenney and Dillard's, but I feel that you get what you pay for, and if you're looking for good quality clothes, then this is the place for you. This review is for Tonesha in the women's dress section, as well as the woman in the Pembroke Pines call center who originally answered my call (sorry for not asking your name!). Here's the saga: I'm maid of honor in my friend's wedding in October. We ordered Adriana Papell bridesmaid dresses from Macy's online in April. All our dresses shipped except one--a size 16--which kept saying delayed in shipping and then, a few days ago in late June, was cancelled. Macy's said they no longer have the size 16 in stock. After phone calls with Macy's corporate, they also said they don't have the 18 in stock (which, by the way, is still listed for sale on their website). I called Adriana Papell's customer service, and they don't have the dress anywhere and aren't restocking it. Oh, and the 60 day return window for formal dresses is coming up in 2 days, and 2 of the girls have already hemmed their dress. Oy vey. TheKnot.com said the dress might have been carried by a short list of boutiques across the nation, so I called places in Chicago, Texas, Colorado, and more, all to no avail. I went to my local mall in California. They didn't have the dress but they printed out a receipt of all the stores nationwide who had the dress: 1 dress a half hour from me, 2 dresses an hour from me, 1 in Philadelphia, 1 in Minnesota, 1 in Cincinnati, 1 in Columbus, and 2 in Pembroke Pines. I tried calling the two malls near me that supposedly had the dress. No one answered the phones. So I drove a half hour away, turned that store inside and out, no dress in size 16. Drove an hour away, spent over an hour looking through that store for the supposed 2 dresses in stock. No luck. This morning I called those two California stores again, minutes after their opening. No one answered the phones yet again. So I called Pembroke Pines. SOMEONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. Hallelujah. She put me on hold to call over to the Macy's dress department, answered the phone and said she had Tonesha on the line who would help me. TONESHA FOUND THE DRESS. Yes, the dress that was sold out nationwide. No only did she find it but she is mailing it to the bridesmaid in question, was extremely helpful on the phone, and added a coupon to my order. I cannot tell you how many places I've called, and how many hours I've spent on the phone in the last few days (conservative estimate is I've spent about 8 hours searching for this dress since Saturday). Tonesha is an angel. If you ever need anything from Macy's--no matter if you're in California and your bridesmaid is in Georgia--call Tonesha. She'll help you ;) read more

The Impulse store and Macy's at this mall is beautiful and well kept. They have such a great variety of things. I went here today to return some makeup. I got my makeup done two weekends ago and spent over $78 dollars in products (minimum is $50 for getting your makeup done.) When I left the store I realized I was given the wrong lip color. Additionally, after my event that night I noticed my concealer was in the creases of my face and faded. Therefore, I decided to return these two products. When I went to this Macy's to return the items the ladies scolded me! "That's the point of a makeover, to keep the items." Well, yeah duh. However, one item looks terrible and the other one given to me was wrong. I told them both products were unused and never opened. They didn't freaking believe me! They opened BOTH products. Lmao, ok. Mind you, I bought 5 items that day and only returned 2. Then I was walking around the store looking for a concealer and I asked the same girl who accepted my returns about the concealer. When I asked her the question, she rolled her eyes at gave me a terrible look for NO reason. I would've purchased a concealer had she provided a recommendation, but I'm glad I didn't. I hate coming to the mall so I ordered online and thought I'd do the store pick-up to get my item faster. First of all, I get to the section for pick-up and there's nobody there. I look around, I even go past the counter to the back and still there's nobody. Maybe 15 minutes later someone says to go around and go to the shoe section (where there's already about six ppl in line). Finally I get to the front of the line and receive my order. I look inside, white shirt, check. When I get home and try the shirt on there is a giant rip from top to bottom. Who the hell picked this?? The person had to be blind not to see the rip. Ridiculous.
