We stopped by here a couple of evenings ago looking for beach wear for a trip to Key Largo. They have a large selection of marked down designer handbags, like Kurt Geiger, Michael Kors, Anne Klein, Rebecca Minkoff, etc. They have both winter and summer styles available now. They also have clothing, jewelry, and shoes for women. The prices are marked down and lower compared to other stores. Lots of bargains and big selections to choose from In women's clothing, Nordstrom also provides big size carts for your small children to sit in as well as for your purchases. The sales staff there were very welcoming and helpful in showing us where everything is. We found a couple of things that we could use on our trip. This has been my go to & favorite Nordstrom Rack in the South Florida area. They always have a great section & selection of purses & shoes. Top luxury brands & also economical options that look modern & fashionable. Their extra clearance sales always have some great pieces from name brands like Free People, Madewell, Vince, Theory, Lucky Brand & the likes. I've never had such a ridiculous experience shopping for something as basic as a suit. I went into Nordstrom Rack trying to buy one for my son, and like any normal person, we needed to swap sizes to get the right fit. Apparently, that's too much to ask here. The manager flat-out refused to let us mix sizes because they didn't "match." That's honestly one of the most out-of-touch policies I've ever heard. Not everyone is built like a mannequin. Expecting people to fit into perfectly pre-matched sets is absurd. What made it worse was the attitude--completely unhelpful and unwilling to even try to find a solution. No flexibility, no customer service, just a hard "no" with zero effort. We walked out without buying anything, and I won't be coming back. I normally don't shop here but I had a giftcard and while their dress selection seemed really tailored for an older crowd the five stars is around the staff/service. My first interaction with Briana was great. The next was with Elizabeth. She deserves a raise, promotion- immediately! She was SOOO helpful. I was having issues with a Giftcard and instead of sending me off to figure it out she called several places to find my solution. The manager or whoever was on the floor, she was wearing a pink shirt- really not helpful in the whole experience in my opinion. She just gave directives to people stayed for 2-3 min and left. And her directives were wrong. Two other employees were actually wayyyy more helpful in problem solving. I was really impressed by this positive work culture/supportive relationships they have. Anyway, give Elizabeth a raise and have her train folks in customer service. So impressed. read more

I came here to browse recently. They have a lot of name brand merchandise that just does not sell at the full line store. The quality of the merchandise was great from what I saw. The discounts were not so great. It just seemed like minor dollars off. Nothing fantastic. They do have women's clothing, men's clothing, shoes for everyone and body and bath goodies like lotions and shower gels. I have been to a couple of their other locations. I would say this one might have slightly better merchandise. I bought a small gift here. I might or might not stop again. Maybe if I have the time and am in this area. Most employees are rude. They call their security team who discriminates you. I was holding a pair of earrings in my hands and then security was radioed in at the cashier counter. Products are ok ... you have to look for anything good. Called corporate and they had an attitude problem. This Nordstrom Rack in Aventura is down the street from Aventura Mall. I went today to return a few things I ordered online that did not work out. Being able to return things here makes it much easier process. Nothing to ship back: quicker refund and you can possibly find something great that fits while there. Parking is easy: no mall traffic and searching for a spot. Service was quick. The line to make a purchase or rerun is very fast and efficient. The store is clean and organized. They had a great selection of jeans. A lot of brand names and organized by rack. I would highly recommend stopping here before making your stop in the mall. Or... if you did not find that right fit of jeans, they just may be at the rack. read more

I purchased a "Psycho Bunny" polo shirt on August at the New Nordstrom Rack in Bay Shore, Long Island, New York. When I arrived home and ready to place on a hanger I noticed a Huge Hole on the short sleeve. Today is August 8 and I returned the shirt. The manager Selema was not accommodating. I did not visit Nordstrom to purchase a torn designer shirt. It was as if I was taliking to someone who definitely is a poor manager. Why Nordstrom would hire her I can not understand....she said final sale...so I purchase a damaged polo shirt from Nordstrom....Bad policy and did not do the right thing....Horrible Customer Service!!!!! Selection was great but employees up front were awful. I misunderstood something about the $5 now and $5 off and the lady attending me (Viktoriya) called the girl next to her and she was like full of attitude and then tells me she going to call the manager? Even though this is Nordstrom "Rack", not regular Nordstrom, I found the store to be well organized and clean with friendly service. This is in Hollywood in the Adventure area and I live in Boca, but it was certainly worth the short drive to spend a couple hours here. read more

I almost always find something here! I just left with a pair of new jeans, and two tops. Also, two very comfortable nude pairs of heels. The shoe selection is great, I always see something I like. The line is usually pretty long but the employees move it along quickly. One thing I don't like all too much is that there isn't a stock of stuff in the back, so if you find a shoe you like, they probably won't have it in another size. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and you can't really beat the discount prices on name brand items. I love shopping here! read more

I was able to go back to the store to return it to the store a few days after the 30-day return policy, but they wouldn't help me exchange or return it. Great Nordstrom Rack location! Good selection and mostly good prices. You just have to hit it at the right time when they have markdowns. They have a decent men's clothing selection and I have gotten some really good deals on suits (my best deal was a Ted Baker two piece suit for around $225!) The cash register line can get really bad at times. If it does, just ask one of the team members on the floor to complete mobile checkout if you don't have many items. Overall, I love shopping at this location, it's one of the better Rack locations I have been to. read more

Love Nordstrom Rack in general but also love coming to this location more often because since it is in the Aventura area, they happen to have more luxury pieces of clothing at great prices. I have been able to find unique outfits to wear that other Nordstroms did not have. I do have to say however, that this location is always packed especially on the weekends and has more of a mess and more unorganized, I'm sure that is because of the traffic. Also I love shopping their clearance sections since they have good deals and sometimes you can find items without a tag and purchase it for .1 cent. Yes you read correctly, 1cent. That is a policy Nordstrom has that if you find an item without a tag and there is no other item to be found, they have to sell it to you for that price. Basically, what a steal! read more

I purchased over $400 worth of items on yesterday and decided to return the $140 purse. The cashier SOPHIA was very rude and had a very poor disposition about her self. I gave her my receipt and she examined the small bag, for what seemed like hours. She asked me did I have the card in which, I purchased, I said I did. The system kept giving her an error to issue the credit to my card, so I told her to just give me cash. I used debit. It was at that moment, things got ugly. She told me No, that the store wasn't an ATM. She asked me could I not read. She went back and forth until I asked for a manager. The manager explained to me that if it was under $10, she could give it to me but because it was over $100, she couldn't. I told her that was a lie and that I wanted my money back, she finally tried my card again and it went through. Sofia does not deserve to work at this store. She needs a course on Customer Service and how to talk to people. read more

I've come to expect certain things from a Rack and this location didn't disappoint. As I entered at dinnertime, the store was fairly busy so I made my way to my usual route... start with accessories, product, find petite racks, then shoes and if there is time, men's. This is not one of the larger store but everything is here if not in more limited selection. I was able to find a couple of interesting possibilities as I easily moved through the store. There were a couple of employees but I didn't need assistance so I can't comment on their performance. The store felt clean and organized which are key in my book but I didn't use the fitting rooms so no comment on them. This Rack lives up to expectations. Happy Shopping! read more

I've been a customer of Nordstrom Rack and this particular location for many years but today I really had a terrible customer service experience and am sorely disappointed. I went in to return an item and there was some confusion about the receipt. Instead of having the patience to help me out with my concerns, the sales associate said while we were in the middle of the transaction that she would call up another customer "while I figured it out." Her words: "I'll take another customer while olyou figure it out". By the way, this was not at all during a busy period with lots of people in line, when I might have understood. I found this incredibly rude on her part and when I asked her if she would not mind helping me out while I resolved this she went off to put away some carts instead of helping me out. Like I said, this was was rude and disappointing service. If I was management, I'd reassess my training policies. read more

I would give this Nordstrom Rack a solid 3, maybe 3.5 stars! I dropped by today and was immediately drawn to their Tory Burch sandals. While I have a pair already, why not have another? (Wink) I could only find the pair I wanted in a size 9. While I could have gotten away with the size 9, I wanted the size 10 (size of all my TB shoes). I asked one of the employees at the store if they had the next size in the shoe I selected. She was super helpful and dropped heat she was doing to help me. She scanned the shoe, seArched for the size, and let me know that the system was showing one more in my size at their store. (here's the blower)... we couldn't find the shoes. We looked in the "brand" section, at the table where the Tory Burch shoes were displayed, and the employee went on the back to check... No shoes found. I left the store empty-handed. Apparently, the system could be showing a pair of shoes being in-store although they could be sold. While I understand the technology behind the update every 24 hours, this is a bit frustrating. All together, this store is decent. I've been there when there were super long lines and instances where I could walk right up to the checkout counter. I've never had a "bad" experience but often times, the merchandise is super picked over (and it shows). read more

I honestly prefer Nordstrom Rack over Nordstrom and that is your getting same name brands, quality customer service for half the price. Most of their products are priced as other outlets. Tjmaxx, marshalls, even Amazon. Currently they have a promotion where you open one of their cards and get $45 off instantly. I am removing one star due to some products being higher priced than TjMaxx yet it is the same product. I tend to find Burberry and Ferragamo mens belts under $ 220. Their womens Torry Burch shoes are cheaper than the store but you can get a better deal when Torry outlet Sawgrass has their 50% off sale. read more

Horrible experience. Horrible customer service! I came into this location during my lunch hour... Browsing to see what I could find. Being that it was my first time visiting this location I looked throughout the store. In the shoes department I came across a pair of Sperry's for $30 for men. Perfect find for my husband! I went to pay and had to stand in line for 15 minutes. Then, when I get to the register the lady tells me I got a great steal! But she double checks and apparently the sticker belonged to a different brand of shoes. She called for help and here comes this guy... The guy checks and immediately says oh this is wrong- they should be at least $50. So he tried to take the sticker off the shoe and tells me I'll go grab the right one. I asked "Oh so you are going to charge me more?!" Apparently he said they couldn't adjust the price and sell me the shoes for that price. I said forget it and started walking away. When I reached the door, I decided to go back. I asked if he was the manager - no he was not. Didn't have any authority at all. I asked for the manager and he rudely responded with - " your not getting these shoes for that price". I sarcastically told them what great customer service they had. I didn't want to waste anymore time in that store. I WILL NOT be spending my money there at this business who prices things wrong and then gets an attitude with the customer as If it were my fault. A Nordstrom Rack minutes from work? Literally down the street, you say? Lunch will never be the same. Forget eating lunch on time or eating at your desk by yourself. Oh hell, you didn't need that pizza anyway. Lunches will now be spent buying amazing things at reasonable prices. It should be noted that since this is Aventura, you will run into massive amounts of old people. So....put your hard hat on before entering the parking lot and have lots of patience. May the force be with you. All in all, this place offers the same great selection as it's originator, and at a fraction of the price (oh yeah). My first department store review. This must be something, indeed. One of the girls from my Social Club (you know who you are) told me about Nordstrom Rack and their amazing prices. Both skeptical and curious, I decided to go for window shopping purposes only. (I must admit that Saturday I was not in the mood for shopping...) Oh boy, oh boy, I was wrong!!! First of all, I must say not everything in Nordstrom Rack it's great, gorgeous and amazing... The truth is Aventura caters a large senior population, therefore some of its fashion styles tends to be boring, bland and "overlyflowery". Sorry, I know sometimes the truth hurts. However, if you put on your treasure hunting hat when you walk through The Rack, the experience could be sublime; and I'm not kidding. This is serious stuff. Keep in mind grannies do not wear True Religion jeans (priced $250, but paid $119) neither tiny sexy cocktail dresses (priced $202, but paid $54.99). Well, most grannies, that is... Do you want me to continue? because the sole memory of those findings make me happy all over again. They also have killer shoes, but I restrained myself since my shoe rack is about to implode. :( The best part? My beautiful new jeans needed hem alterations, and Tailor Extraordinaire, Miguel, did it in less than an hour for a nominal fee and a friendly smile. Am I a happy camper or what? Jeez... read more

Great place to get deals on all kinds of clothes. I usually take my son here for stuff, and I usually get a few things for me when needed. Tshirts that would normally be $20+ are under 10, and good deals on dri-fit sports wear. The last visit was for dress pants and shirt for my son, and he was able to score a great pair of VANs which were earily 50% off retail. Its conveniently located on US1 just north of Ives Dairy, in the North side of the plaza, by Dlites and Subway...parking can be hectic, but not too bad. read more

But, I think that sawgrass has a lot more deals than this location, like __% off something or another. And their shoes didn't have the "color specials" like sawgrass either. Big fan of the prices at this Nordstrom Rack location. Been shopping here semi-regularly for a couple of years and I almost always find really good deals on items that would have been completely out of my price range at a regular Nordstrom. Granted, Nordstrom Rack is a little more of a 'traditional' approach to outlet shopping than the stores that you'll find at someplace like Sawgrass Mills and similar locations. The Rack really seems to be stocked with items that didn't sell in the regular Nordstrom stores. So, it's not uncommon to see a lot of 'one offs,' meaning, you won't find an entire rack of high-end Marc Jacobs men's dress shirts in a full rainbow of colors and sizes. Instead, you'll see a couple of racks of high-end dress shirts comprised of a few of these and a couple of those and one of something else. And somewhere within that grand mix of things, you'll find an incredible deal on a Marc Jacobs shirt or two. So, you really need to look at every item on every rack. And depending on what type of merchandise gets sent to The Rack in your area, you might not even see the same type of things on subsequent shopping trips. For example, at some point back in the summer, The Rack in Aventura had an entire floor-to-ceiling wall display of Calvin Klein men's underwear. Boxers, briefs, bikinis - all kinds of styles and sizes. But when I went back about a month or so later, they didn't have any underwear at all. Period. And that's not a big deal. It just speaks to the point that The Rack really is dealing with whatever 'stuff' gets sent to them by the main Nordstrom stores. Even so, I've always been able to find some incredible bargains at The Rack. During my most recent visit, I found two basic-but-gorgeous English Laundry oxford shirts for $49.99 each. At the regular Nordstrom stores, English Laundry men's shirts retail anywhere from about $129 all the way up to $200. During one of my visits last fall, I ran across an amazing deal on men's ties. There was a big table in the suit/shirt area covered in Ted Baker and Ike Behar ties that were selling for $19.99 each. Ted Baker ties generally retail for about $149 and up. Ike Behar ties aren't quite as expensive, but the nicer ones easily can get up to about $100. So, at $19.99 a pop, that was a great deal. Again, you really have to commit some time and effort to looking at every item on every rack. If you just take a quick glance around the men's (or women's) department, you won't be able to determine instantly where the items are located that appeal most to you. You gotta put in the work. But the effort almost always pays off big time. read more

Go early when the place is all organized and you can actually find things. Unlike Loehmans this place has a great selection of all sizes neatly organized. They have some great jean brands that are normally $180 in the stores for $79.99 Like page denim, seven, and joes. I usually cannot shop for a wardrobe in a place like this but once in a while you get a great deal where you say hey this place was worth checking out. Also, lots of similar junior items that you would find similar in thestore but for 60 % off regular price. Shoes are a decent slection but I find the clothig much better. read more
