Just a well deserved shout out to Valerie in the gown section who provided my wife excellent attention and assisted her finally finding the right gown. It looked amazing on her but just needed one size larger. The Macy's 30% discount automatically added with and optional 25% discount with a Macy's credit card, which we declined - these department stores always try to push this. Anyways, we paid for the dress which will be delivered for free to our residence with a 30 day return policy. Browsed the men's section upstairs which offered all big brand clothing with a very classy dress suit and shoe section. The alteration area for the gowns strangely is located in the men's section. They provide a Price Check kiosk to scan apparel so that you don't need to hunt down an employee for a simple task. read more

Specifically came to the Aventura Mall today to find a gown for a wedding. Its been three months and no luck so far. Macy's actually has an enormous selection of gowns in all styles and colors for under $250.00. Twenty minutes went by and no assistance could be found, asked employees walking by who quickly dispersed into the colorful fabric displays. Then the white knight emerged by the name of Valerie who was an instant breath of fresh air and took control and assisted me at the fitting area. Tried on many gowns and finally found a winner. Thanks again to Valerie for all her help. This mens and womens store sells a wide selection of brand name clothing, purses, shoes and perfumes. read more

The Aventura Macy's has been our go-to since the downtown Miami closed years ago. This Macy's is huge! A few years ago, they added the Men's Dept that is a sky bridge away in another building. The women's department is on the second floor and has an escalator directly to the mall's second floor. The first floor has great selections of cosmetics, perfumes, shoes, handbags, and jewelry. We enjoy shopping there when they have their really big sales events, like the Family & friends sale. The prices are really good then. The sales staff are always helpful and very nice. We were interested in the sunglasses this trip, which were on the first floor. Macy's has a good selection of sunglasses. I saw a pair of the silvery D & G that I liked but their price was outrageous. I found them elsewhere for a third of the price! It pays to shop around. The parking lot is free but you may have to drive around a few times until someone leaves to get a spot. They have security on bicycles who are very active in watching the lots. read more

I normally don't leave such low reviews unless something is abysmal and in this case it felt warranted. None of the bathrooms had toilet paper. None, including the accessible stalls. I just couldn't believe for the price that they sell their items, a place considered to be more on the "higher end" that none of the stalls- men, women, family, had any toilet paper. So, sure spend $600 on a shirt but if you want to wipe yourself, find a different location :( The service workers were also not helpful or approachable. Somebody in mgmt step in, please, your customers can't even relieve themselves in your establishment after trying to do some shopping! read more

This is a large, roomy and well stocked Macy's store in the Aventura Mall. I went in recently to get a gift for a friend of mine and I was so overwhelmed with options. The store had all kinds of sales and specials that it took some time to figure out the best deal. The employees working in here were nice and warm but many of them were just busy looking at their phones as I walked past them...no eye contact... It was near the parking garage, so it was easy to get to/from. read more

Mens store, men's fragrance counter at this location. 2 lady clerks chatting and hiding by the register. I waited patiently for about 10 minutes and wasn't approached by anyone. Another person walked up and they jumped to help them. I still waited patiently. Yet another person came up behind me and the clerks are busy, both now, attending the first person. The older clerk with the glasses looks at me as if she was going to help me and before i could even ask for anything, she moves on to the customer that came up after me and proceeds to tell me to wait for the next clerk that was busy punching in and saying her hellos and catching up, etc. I then left and she starts yelling, telling me not to be mad at her that the lady behind me was next. I really like the Macy's women's and men's stores. They are both neat and not messy like the Macy's nearbwhere I live. I especially like the home and bedding section of the men's store. They have major brands with a lot of variety in bedding. I was looking for a new comforter and had lots to pick from. The women's store has a lot of nice clothing. The fitting rooms have been remodeled and are very appealing. I just wish there were more of them because I find myself waiting too long for a room if I am there on a weekend. I also love the cosmetics department because this store has a lovely Lancome counter. They are always stocked with what I need. The sales associates are always helpful. 2-11-22 Friday evening Came here on a Friday evening on a mission to find my husband a shirt, tie, and slippers. I looked for the department in the first floor and remembered they hide it on the 2nd floor with the bedding and luggage. Probably knowing you would need these items so you have to work for it. Once you get upstairs easier said than done on where to find a dress shirt and ties. Ok finally found a dress shirt would be easier if they didn't merchandise by brand. I don't care about the brands at this point only the color and sizes. I get a shirt in a matching color to my dress that I had with me. The tie was easier since I had the shirt and dress to compare. Than I asked a sales associate where the slippers were. Picked out a pair at 40% off and went back to the only sake's associate on the floor to ring me up. I got $10 in reward points that were not available until the next day and will expire in 30 days. Nice sales ploy to get you back I suppose. So after I pay for everything and get to my car I realize I forgot dress shoes for hubby. Oh well I will try another store tomorrow for those. read more

Macys in the Aventura Mall, specifically the main location with women's and multiple floors is a mixed bag thes days, especially on a Saturday at noon. First the escalators are all broke and turned off. That's multiple floors to travel by stairs. Women's intimates has NO cashier or employee and had to pay in the discount area BackStage. Her register went out, not sure if charged twice, and we have to revisit purchase. Ouch ! We then trike down three floors to cologne and perfume area. Employees are swarming like bees pimping all scents. We grab the one wife likes and no samples or real assistance other than fast sale. Seems like 1/2 these associates need to be dispersed to other areas of store. Perhaps incentive, spiffs, or bonus bucks only in this area ?? read more

probably the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE in the history of retail! I ordered 3 pairs of 3 pack socks online and only received 1 pack of the 3. the online customer service is awful and the person i spoke with definitely didn't speak or understand English and the issue. I was told they would email a dispute form that never arrived so I went directly to the Macy's men's store in Aventura. once again they couldn't or wouldn't help and absolutely no supervisor or manager would come talk to me. they consider me a important customer but teated me horrible and acted like it wasn't their problem. this is all the more reason ill stop all my business with Macy's and start shopping more at Nordstro where they do offer a higher level of customer service. avoid Macy's if possible! read more

Macy's - Department Stores Near Me - Aventura, Florida

This is a nice Macy's, but it's odd that the men's clothing isn't located here. According to the directory, the men's and home store is situated separately in the mall, but I did not visit the other shop on my trip to this mall. This store features three large floors and it's really geared towards female shoppers. I like Macy's better than some of the other department stores at the mall. Bloomingdale's is great, but a little high end for my overall budget. While this shop is not exactly a discount retailer, they do have some really great deals. I was AMAZED by the racks and racks of clearance sections throughout the store. Yes, you need to have the time and desire to dig, but smoking hot deals can be had. They had a decent sized swimwear section, which is great since this is near Miami/Fort Lauderdale. They do carry kids clothing as well and that area is sizable. Great women's shoe and handbag section too. They also feature a very large section of formal wear dresses. Overall, a great department store and should appeal to most budgets. read more

I remember back in the day when Macy's was all that and a bag of chips. Today it reminds me of JCPenney. They have simply lost their luster. I am frequent customer but this review is for the bathrooms. The bathrooms, which for the 9 years I've been living in Aventura have been the worst quality I've been to, worse than a gas station, worse than a porta potty at a music festival, worse than a fast food restaurant. I am at Aventura mall at least once a week and I have been to bathrooms in JCPenny, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, and the mall bathrooms throughout the halls/shops. Macy's - for 9 years, you have had broken sinks, toilets, toilet paper dispensers. You have mold and water damage on the floors and walls. The quality of toilet paper is the worst and cheapest you can possibly get. It hasn't change since the first time I wandered in there. For 9 years - you have failed to upkeep your restrooms and it shows how little effort there is for the customer. The sales associates and custodial staff can only do so much. UPPER management - this is your call to action. Your bathrooms are shameful. read more

This is a great Macy's location. This once was a Burdines still echoes the old-time Miami charm. I was coming in here for a placemat. You know how you know if you're in your 30s? You have your eye on a specific placemat and you drive 45 minutes to come get it. I looked high and low and it was nowhere to be found. A friendly sales girl came up to me and asked me if I needed help and I told her my plight. She help me find a SKU from an old receipt and found a store in the area that had what I was looking for. She spent at least 25 minutes helping me and was so nice. I ended up picking up what I needed at the plantation store. But it is all thanks to Macy's Aventura ! read more

Macy's has a great selection of moderately to high priced clothing. The Aventura store is large and has a huge inventory. What Aventura is lacking in compared to some other department stores is service. Compared to stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales, it is like night and day. Some departments are better than others. The salesperson in dresses was terrible. In order to get a sale price I had to buy two dresses and leave them there. When I went to pick up the dresses, she could not find the dresses. I told her I would shop the mall and give her time to find them. When I returned the salesperson had not even looked! She finally did find the dresses I had paid for. The only problem was that she then could not locate another dress I had asked her to hold. I was really annoyed as the dress was a steal! I asked to speak to the manager but this salesperson was the manager! I had much better luck in the shoe department. There were so many shoes! Although it was very busy, the salesperson in the shoe department was very attentive. Perhaps I just had a bad experience in the dress department. I'm sure I will return to this Macy's due to it's sheer size and large selection. Plus, if I don't find anything, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom are close by! read more

I went to Macys Sat when it opened to buy expensive pan set (3rd floor). After 30 minutes looking for a sales person I knocked on a door where I heard people talking. I was told we just opened and no one was available to help me and to go to the first floor where people were working. I proceed to first floor customer service where I was told to go to the third floor as the sales associates on the first floor can not answer any questions. After an hour of run around I finally left and ordered the product online from another store. Sadly Macys has become a dismal store that will soon be out of business. 0 customer service skills. I needed a cocktail dress for a formal event and came to use a gift card here. Now, everyone knows that the Dadeland Macy's is only comparable to the Aventura location so I came to change the scenery and escape the souwesera for a bit. I really dug the Calvin Klein section. As a person new to their thirties, I've learned to appreciate the womens section as I've strayed from the Juniors dept. I saw plenty of nice Levi's on sale which are worth the price since they're known for their sturdiness and longevity. I scanned the sale section in the shoe department and scored some nice slides perfect for my chancletera moments. Due to the amplification of their surroundings, parking was a bit weird but I managed. I got here early and left before it got packed with a few good scores so it all worked out. read more

DON'T ever buy furniture from Macy's!!!! WORST COMPANY!!! They are like a bad dealership that needs to get SHUTDOWN. I bought couches from them using their credit line & then I purchased a separate piece on my Chase card. When I returned that separate piece, they refunded my Macys card, not my Chase card which was supposed to be refunded since the Macys card is 0 interest. After that, they basically said okay we'll refund your Chase card and charge your Macys card because you have to have enough credit in which they then decreased my credit line so that I would not be able to repurchase it. Now they said they would give me the couch but with no warranty, but how is that even an option? Of course I want a warranty!! They are scammers and the worst, I repeat THE WORST customer service!!! Macy's Aventura Finishline was great and John, the manager, was great but DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ONLINE OR REQUEST A TRANSFER. It's so worth noting that I did pay partially with gift card and partially with my own card. However, here is my experience: I ordered a shoe for an event a week in advanced and it came damaged -really damaged. There was no way to eliminate the express shipping fee (not his fault), but per their system they wanted me to drive to Pembroke, an hour away, to get my shoe. I called corporate customer service to wave the fee and was misinformed about when the shoe would arrive -they said 2-day shipping so it would arrive for my event when, when it would actually arrive next week, so I spent at least an hour with corporate for nothing. Two damaged shoes later and $50 in gift cards and I got a THIRD damaged shoe. Because they compensated me with gift cards I am forced to give them my business, a smart decision on their part. I would like to reiterate that it was not John's fault or Macy's Aventura however dismal the corporate service was. read more

What a beautiful and wide this Macy's is, located in the Aventura Mall. I entered the Home and Men section. They have beautiful things, the bad thing is that they do not have the Nespresso capsules that I was looking for for my coffee machine. But they sell everything else of this and many other brands. This Macy's is very clean, organized and has helpful staff. I am not a fan of malls but I was in here looking at mattresses a while ago and the customer service was top notch. I specifically wanted to see the Alexander mattress in the Signature Collection of Kluft. The representative took me right to that mattress and let me spend time looking at it and then came back. I ended up purchasing the Alexander even though it is a firm. King size luxury mattresses can have problems with sagging but this one has held up wonderfully. With organic cotton, Talalay latex and individually wrapped premium coil springs it is not a light weight mattress. It took three of us to get it upstairs and into the bed frame. I love the "pill box" design and the quality of the outer fabric. Kluft offers supportive mattresses that are hand tufted . Kluft was recently bought out by ViSpring which arguably is the best innerspring mattress company in the world. I believe that your back should have the very best that you can afford when it comes to support, after all, how much is good rest worth? read more

I rarely rate stores or shops, in fact, this is only my third store review. I prefer to write about FOOD (yum!) I must, however, ask, WHAT THE HELL'S GOING ON AT MACY'S?!? Macy's Aventura, at that. Yes, Aventura Mall, home of all things FABULOUS and trendy, where one expects to shop for the best, with the best. I will admit, I only shop at Macy's (the menswear & furnishings store) for my husband & sons. I typically know what I'm looking for & I'm in and out in a flash. I haven't been to the Macy's (all things women) in at least two or three years. (For those who aren't familiar, Aventura Mall has two Macy's department stores, specializing as stated above.) Well baaaby, my experience yesterday is sure to keep me out of Macy's for the rest of my life! (Nordstrom & I are in a committed relationship.) My friend tells me Macy's has white shoes, which I desperately need for upcoming travel. I find four (4) pair and sit to be assisted. There are about a dozen people working in the very busy department. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I realize, in spite of having a dozen people working, you have to wait in line to have the cashier (or someone there) check for your shoe(s). That person scans your shoe(s) & then you sit & wait for another person to bring them out, back to the cashier, who then yells for you. I tried this method (which took another 10 minutes & only 10 because one of the young ladies finally went to check on my request). Of the four, they could only locate two; one was too big & one was another color. Bless the young woman who did help me, she was the only soul there with a modicum of customer service in her methods. This young woman suggested she look on-line to see if the right color could be ordered. While she looked, I noticed that the department is much bigger than I realized & began looking around some more. I found two more pair that I liked and began the process again. This time there was one lone, short, older, Caribbean woman at the counter. I asked for the young woman who assisted me, to which she replied, "Oh, I've just come on, I don't know where she is." What a sorry liar! She obviously didn't realize that I've spent at least 40 minutes of my life in this department, that I'll never get back and saw her when she started her shift . . . So, I ask her to scan the shoes to see if they are available in my size. Great! They have them! I turn to go have a seat and she says (of the floor samples I've brought up), "Can you put these back on the shelf where you got them, for me?" I paused. I did the dog-look, when you know they're confused & their head is tilted to one side. I turned and finally got the hell out of there. I could go on and on about other things, but this system . . . this lack of service . . . the lack of customer care is enough!!! Shop for shoes at Macy's Aventura, don't shop for shoes at Macy's Aventura, I don't care, but consider yourself warned. read more

There are many things I would rather do than shop - root canal, walking over hot coals, being water boarded.... however, the BF and I just bought a house, so off to the ninth circle of hell (ie: Aventura Mall) we went... Macy's was having a bang up sale and they get 5 stars for fantastic prices. They beat Amazon and eBay by a mile. Selection was pretty good as well and items didn't look "picked over". However.... the customer service - UGH! 2 ends of the spectrum. A saleswoman walked by and asked if we needed help. We did, but when we asked our question, she was busy chatting with her friends. So we poked around for a while and then when she was finished with her personal conversation, she came back and said she was ready to help us. At that point, we had located what we needed, so that was that. On the other hand were the commission vultures. We had researched which "countertop oven" (ie, toaster oven) we wanted ahead of time, and as we approached the section, the sales guy was on us like white on rice. We had to ask him to leave us alone! Then, as we were carrying our expensive toaster oven to the register where they were holding our other items, a saleswoman literally ran over to us from where she was having a coffee break and said, "Are you looking for a register?
