I went looking for some costume jewelry for a recent event and got sidetracked when I discovered Icing had closed their doors. They were my go-to charm store for cute and unique jewelry styles. Well, luckily for me directly across the street, Charming Charlie was open. My oldest daughter is very familiar with them since they were known as Icing's rival store. (My daughter used to work with Icing.) We were welcomed at the door by one of the employees who was very helpful showing us, by pointing, what all of the departments had in them. I asked her (jokingly) if they had something to do with Icing closing their doors, she just shrugged as if to say, Icing who? I quickly left it alone. I wanted to browse the store, not cause any trouble. Lol! After searching I found the perfect earrings, necklace, and dainty but elegant bracelet, which got a few compliments at my event. All very affordable and stylish pieces that I was happy to find. My daughter bought a bag that was perfect for traveling. At checkout we were encouraged to sign-up for emails about promotions and online offers. I just took advantage of their 'Cyber Monday' sale and bought gifts for my friends for the holidays. They sell more than just jewelry (that by the way, is uniquely organized by color and design), cute mugs, wine glasses, ornaments, and so much more. I'm looking forward to my next in-store visit.

You really can find anything you are looking for. The lady was eager to assist. She seemed real knowledgeable. I did actually end up buying a lawn decoration. It is high quakity and durable. It seems like it will last for years to come. Pricing seemed a bit high, but what doesn't nowadays. Although not as big as some of the other Spirit Halloween stores that I've been to, they certainly were well stocked and they had plenty of animatronics set up and have made great use of their space. The only downside to this place is there are NO fitting rooms! Pain in the butt I know but they do this on purpose. They have a 21 day full money back refund with receipt and tags but let's face it most of us will buy a bunch if cheap clothing go home try it on and not bother coming back for your $6 bucks. (This doesn't count for me though, I always come and return). You find a large selection of every type of clothing from clubbing dresses to bras and undies they have it all. She assisted with letting my daughter try on the women and junior versions of the shoe that she was trying to buy so that she knew what size she was looking for. They did not have the size that we were looking for of the junior version in the store so we were able to order it and will pick it up in a few days.

Found the Pembroke location first and then stopped by the Sawgrass Mills location too. Both are cool but the Pembroke location is a nicer setup. The Sawgrass location is more of an outlet feel. But customer service rocks at both locations. Did you know you can customize Vans too? Of course this will take 4-6 weeks for the custom orders but how cool is that? Keep that in mind if you ever want custom shoes. We ordered our shoes online and when the shoe didn't fit, we were able to bring it to the store and make the exchange. If they don't have it in store, they will order the right size for you and have it shipped to your home, no extra charge. Love it. They have the works here...shoes, hats, clothing, backpacks, socks and other accessories. Well kept store and keeping that Vans name alive and kicking!

While I headed over to look at some of the handbags they had for sale, I did notice there were different tables situated with some sale items as well as a display with red, white, and blue items - in alignment with the upcoming holiday. I wasn't able to find a handbag for my mother-in-law, which is what I was on the search for. However, I was able to purchase an inexpensive and stylish pair of slippers for my own satisfaction. It seems to be under the radar because it's the 1st year being here but you definitely can't miss the giant storefront from Pines Blvd. If you haven't noticed, this is still the coolest seasonal store to exist. This is by far the biggest Spirit I've gone to in the area & it was stocked full. They had pretty much all of the new animatronics set up on display, tons of costumes to choose from, loads of home decor & plenty more. Because this store is on the larger side there was a lot of floor space to cover & they did pretty well with that. I think they still could've squeezed in one more animatronic display though. It was fairly organized during the late afternoon & there were always at least a few employees on the floor if you needed help. There was definitely no shortage of staff here. Like all Spirit locations, the prices aren't too steep. You really can't beat their merchandise, especially because they carry a lot of exclusive items. Throw in the 20% off coupons they always send out & now we're talking. Although their quality control sometimes lacks, I've usually never had an issue with anything I've purchased. The best part is, if you ever experience problems with your purchase the company is very good at honoring refunds. Considering the size & how much product they carry, I'd have to say this is the best one in the area. There really weren't many things I had trouble finding. I also saw a some new products (to me) which is always cool. Spirit Halloween, you never disappoint!
