Listen, I'm all for fun adult humor but I suppose I wasn't prepared for how many inappropriate costumes were within easy view for kids. It's hard to shield your kids from this when it's so easily accessible in the store. Other than that gripe, Spirit has an extensive selection of costumes, decor, accessories and more. So. Many. Options. There are costumes for adults, kids, pets and then some. Another thing about Spirit is that the costumes are so expensive!!! The costumes we were looking at ranged from $39.99 up to $59.99. HOLY CRAP!!! Needless to say, we opted not to get anything because we didn't find anything we loved. All good. What I liked best about Spirit Halloween are the cool animatronics once you enter the store. They have little things you can step on to activate the animatronics and they come to life. It's quite cool. So U2 can have one of these in your home for several hundreds of dollars. Lol cool nonetheless.

The only downside to this place is there are NO fitting rooms! Pain in the butt I know but they do this on purpose. They have a 21 day full money back refund with receipt and tags but let's face it most of us will buy a bunch if cheap clothing go home try it on and not bother coming back for your $6 bucks. (This doesn't count for me though, I always come and return). You find a large selection of every type of clothing from clubbing dresses to bras and undies they have it all. She assisted with letting my daughter try on the women and junior versions of the shoe that she was trying to buy so that she knew what size she was looking for. They did not have the size that we were looking for of the junior version in the store so we were able to order it and will pick it up in a few days.

Found the Pembroke location first and then stopped by the Sawgrass Mills location too. Both are cool but the Pembroke location is a nicer setup. The Sawgrass location is more of an outlet feel. But customer service rocks at both locations. Did you know you can customize Vans too? Of course this will take 4-6 weeks for the custom orders but how cool is that? Keep that in mind if you ever want custom shoes. We ordered our shoes online and when the shoe didn't fit, we were able to bring it to the store and make the exchange. If they don't have it in store, they will order the right size for you and have it shipped to your home, no extra charge. Love it. They have the works here...shoes, hats, clothing, backpacks, socks and other accessories. Well kept store and keeping that Vans name alive and kicking!

When I walked in I was warmly greeted by two young ladies working near the front of the store and they kindly asked if I needed help finding anything. While I headed over to look at some of the handbags they had for sale, I did notice there were different tables situated with some sale items as well as a display with red, white, and blue items - in alignment with the upcoming holiday. I wasn't able to find a handbag for my mother-in-law, which is what I was on the search for. However, I was able to purchase an inexpensive and stylish pair of slippers for my own satisfaction. And if I'm ever in a bind and need to buy something fashion forward and trendy I know this may be the place to go. DId I mention they're open pretty late all seven days of the week? Happy shopping.
