There are many things that Target sells that other stores do not. I bought some limited edition Method soaps and frozen pizza made in Brooklyn. I am excited to try both. I am a member of their rewards program. I don't find I save much money with it. They have some offers in the app but it seems to be for items I don't usually buy. They do give you 5% off one shopping trip during your birthday month which I like.

The Oakwood Plaza was constructed on the same land where the old Six Flags Atlantis Waterpark…read moreexisted in the 1980s. In 1994 this plaza became a bustling shopping extravaganza in east Hollywood for years until the Dania Pointe mega shopping center stole a majority of it's customers. The parking lot has adequate spaces to support the plaza activity. Entry into the plaza is simple off Sheridan Street and Stirling Road. The Dave and Busters, BJ's Wholesale Club, Home Depot, Ross, City Furniture and Miller's Ale House have continued to stay in business but unknown if they are thriving. The Regal Oakwood Theaters is finally permanently closed and now the new ultra modern Regal Cinema has opened in Dania Pointe directly across the street. The Gold's Gym and the Big Lots are also out of business. There are several EV stations at the NE corner of the plaza. In my opinion, within the next three years, the Dania Pointe will eventually destroy all hopes of this plaza's lifeline.
