Walking inside feels like discovering a hidden little world of books. I will say, I expected it to be much bigger based on photos I had seen. There's definitely more to see upwards than around, with books stacked and shelved high throughout the space. It's pretty tight inside, so I can imagine it getting a little crowded when there are a lot of people. And then there's the big fluffy resident cat, who pretty much seems to own the place and just adds another layer of charm to the whole experience. Honestly, what more could you want from a whimsical little bookshop? Definitely worth making a little trip to check out. It's quirky, charming, unexpected, and feels like a little hidden treasure.

Environment is very theme heavy with images of Pokémon, the very popular anime. You really can't miss it! I had the poké your way. Specifically the Pokeball. My meal consisted of sushi rice, seared salmon, veggies topped with some crispy onions and some spicy mayo. It was delicious! And this coming from someone who's super picky about how the fish has to be prepared. Very well done. As for my drink I had a BeeDrill, named after one of my favorite Pokémon. The Thai tea was infused with honey and brown sugar with some cream but it was missing a sting... Either way I enjoyed my meal very much so, and do hope to be coming back!

The employees are helpful and will recommend and find books that you may be interested in. If they don't have it, they can often order it and have it shipped to your house for free. This store is very organized and has a nice children's section in the back. Barnes and Noble often has sales such as buy one, get 50% off, and discounts on most hardback new releases. As an added extra, they have a premium membership which gives an extra % off and a free tote bag. Moreover, this location has a Starbucks and an area to read and enjoy your beverage and/ or snack. With the premium membership, you are also entitled to discounts on your snacks. This bookstore has a DVD and movie area as well. If you're interested in a book, or a place to study and relax, I highly recommend this Barnes and Noble.

From the outside it doesn't seem too big but you quickly realize how much space they're working with when you step inside. They're filled out wall to wall with comics, collectibles, figures & even have a RPG space set up. I've been to stores that heavily favor one category like super heroes, for example, while leaving all the other genres hanging. PPF however, has one of the best selection of varieties in my opinion. They're loaded with DC, Marvel, TMNT, horror, manga & also carry some niche ones. I also appreciate how they stay up to date on weekly & monthly releases with a section dedicated to them. Prices are solid & they often have a couple limited/exclusive variants. These are a bit overpriced but sometimes it's better to get them in person & support local rather than online & deal with shipping. Years ago, customer service was a bit iffy but recently it's been nothing but great. They greet you right away, have no issues answering questions & act like they appreciate your business. This is a great place to check out if you're a fan of pop culture, comics, figures or books in general. It's really hard to stop by & not leave with something in hand.

A note on the low reviews: I came here before and had the chance to talk to the current owner, the shop has come under new management, so don't let the low reviews scare you! This has genuinely been one of my favorite comic shops in South Florida so I definitely recommend checking it out. Also I know they do challenges for free items on their instagram, so if that's something you're interested in - I'd really recommend following them! Happy shopping, friends~
