I placed my order and two employees worked to grab all the items I asked for and put them in boxes. The sandwiches were being prepared in the back and within a few minutes I was handed the 3 large brown paper bags with all my items. Had we been told in advance what type of event was taking place, we would have simply chosen another night. Guests deserve the opportunity to make that choice for themselves. This should have been disclosed at the time of reservation, not after customers were already sitting at their table. We should never have been unexpectedly put into a situation that made us this uncomfortable. We genuinely like Unit B, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Great food and drinks don't make up for a serious lack of communication with your customers. A simple heads-up at the time of booking would have made all the difference.

No free refills on coffee here unless you buy their "pour over," and then you get one small refill. The strainer for the coffee was stained and filthy when it was brought out, so they're not using fresh ones or even cleaning thoroughly between uses. GF had a meatless omelet and a smoothie. Her omelet was hot so obviously it was made fresh unlike mine. I told the waiter my food was cold and he swore he saw them "take it out of the oven," but nothing I ordered would be cooked in any over other than a microwave oven. Total bill for two: $60+. This was with a 30% discount on my plate for my food being served cold. Honestly you'll have a better, fresher meal at IHOP or Waffle House or Denny's, for a fraction of the price and you'll get coffee refills.
