Came in right when they opened on a Saturday morning to make a return for an online order. From the moment I walked in, the staff was polite and helped me right away. Shout out to Frank, he was very pleasant. And even though I was there for a return (story of my life!), I still had to look around first! LoL! As a size 10 shoe girlie, I was pleasantly surprised by how many options they had. I was very tempted to grab a few things, but I behaved this time. Prices are typically very reasonable. My favorite sections are the bags and the shoes. Parking is super easy at this location since it shares a large lot with a few businesses, including Trader Joe's. Definitely a win-win. I will never shop here again. I purchased a shampoo, that mind you- I can get for the same price at your local Walgreens, and it was not shampoo. It was a weird liquidy type of water! I brought in the receipt and tried to exchange it and was turned away. The manager did not care or hear my concern. I visited the Nordstrom Rack in Sunrise and had a very disappointing experience. Within minutes of walking in, an undercover security guard began watching me and my daughter closely, which immediately made me uncomfortable. I asked a young lady for help to open a locked case for perfume, and she said she would send someone. I also needed assistance with a locked case for glasses, but after waiting about 10 minutes, no one ever came back or helped. Another person initially claimed he didn't work there, then proceeded behind the counter, which added to the confusion and lack of professionalism. The overall experience felt unwelcoming and poorly managed. I chose to leave and will not be returning. I plan to contact corporate to file a formal complaint. read more

We stopped here on the way home from the Galleria mall. I had never been to this particular location of this store before and wanted to check it out. You need a bit of patience to dig through everything here. The store itself is smaller than the one on glades in Boca Raton. And its entrance is set back off the main road of federal highway. There's parking right out front, however. They have a lot of designer clothing, but you need to sort through various racks. They have more casual clothing than dressy items. And I was searching for an event dress. I did find a few things to try on, but nothing I was in love with. Glad I came to check them out. read more

This particular store is large and well laid out with the men's section located on the second floor. There was something about the layout of the men's section that seemed kind of boring to me, not very attractive, not very appealing. I like the Sawgrass Mill store better. Anyway, I found a few items to buy and it was an easy shopping trip. Nordstrom Rack is positioned as an off-price department store chain and it was founded in 1973. This is a large store with huge selection. I like the variety of women's clothes that they sell. I do find that the clothes that they offer are a bit cheaper quality than what you find in a regular Nordstrom. They also offer some hair care products and home goods. The Easter Bunny was too busy with work that she told her adult daughter that the bunny would be a little late this year. Yes, we still believe in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. Why not? To my amazement, the Rack had a beautiful Easter themed soft throw. My daughter has several different ones, but this one was so soft. As I strolled the store, I saw some pretty pink pajamas in her size. Definitely Easter Pink. All of a sudden a cohesive gift giving plan was beginning to emerge. The final gift sealed the deal. A shower gel gift set. This was a no dumb bunny shopping day. The daughter was happy and realized that sometimes surprises are worth the wait. read more

I've visited this location before and it's always a pleasure. I was glad to see they were being safe and had clearly marked entrances as well as distance markers on the ground. Once you enter their is a security guard greeting you and I'm pretty sure making sure youre wearing a mask. There's also arrows on the ground (sort of like ikea) that guide you which way to walk. The downside is you can't try on clothes and some of the "deals" were final sale. So just beware of that. Otherwise the check out process was what you would expect from Nordy and that's I Service with a smile and a friendly cashier that offered alternatives to some of the concerns we had with our purchase. I received a Nordstrom rack gift card for my birthday so I thought to come by and check things out. It is located in Federal highway at a pretty busy shopping plaza. They had a clear the rack sale going on, but even so I wasn't able to find much. I guess the clothes they sell are not my style at all. I didn't find them to be designer, but are pretty expensive nonetheless. Then I thought to get some cosmetics or perfume, and I found their section to be quite small and lacking. They only sell low end perfumes, and they have no testers to preview scents. The store has two stories. Downstairs is women's household and accessories, and upstairs on the second floor they have men's, children's and all shoes. The men's section is underwhelming. I personally don't care for these type of stores where everything is stuffed in racks with no rhyme or reason and it's hard to find things, but I know a lot of people who love these sort of stores, so my opinion is based on my preference. It was a Saturday and they had the sale going on but there wasn't a lot of people. This store overall was pretty organized. They just don't have a lot of variety of things. I do think it is a lot better than the Nordstrom rack at the Sawgrass mall a lot less stressful. read more

I've bought various items from here. The selection always varies, and you have to drop in to see if you find a gem. I've found some nice workout shorts, casual shirts and a nice jacket. They have a pretty large men's department on the second floor. Staff is always nice and friendly too. Look forward to stopping in here in the future. read more

It's probably a good thing that I haven't come to this Nordstrom Rack sooner because if I have, I'd have a lot less coins than I do now. Either way, this location is great! One thing I love about any new location is that they seem to be clean and organized, for at least as long as they can be. Nordstrom Rack, to me, used to be all about shoes. If you wanted a decent pair of designer shoes for a decent price you went here, but now they have really done an amazing job of opening their store, making it more like a HomeGoods type of feel, all the while keeping true to themselves and still giving you those designer labels. The first floor has women's, beauty, and a home goods area while upstairs has children's, men's and shoes. The men's department was well organized and there wasn't a hanger out of place. The vast amount of clearance made my heard flutter and it was all correctly in order by sizing which I was really impressed with. Now, The Rack is going to be more expensive than your Marshall's or Ross, but you're getting different labels here. That being said, you can definitely find some buys here. I got two pairs of socks, and two shirts for $24 which I was more than happy with. One shirt was $2.99. Can you believe? The shopping experience here was extremely pleasant and I do have to say, I enjoyed it not being that packed inside so I had room to rummage through all of the racks. You can spend some serious coinage here if you wanted to and I'm sure I will. read more

This Nordstrom Rack is located in the same plaza as Trader Joe, with its own parking lot. I came by this location with my husband and our little girl dog yesterday in the late afternoon (All Nordstrom & Nordstrom Rack stores are dog friendly). This Nordstrom Rack happens to be 2 stories. On the 1st floor, you will find handbags, watches, jewelry, women's clothing and fragrance. On the 2nd floor, you will find men's clothing, women & men's shoes and baby clothes. During this visit, I felt the hand bag section was rather lackluster. But you have to go to Nordstrom Rack over a few visits to get a feel of their inventory. But I did like their fragrance section, as I found a few scents that I really like (and decided to purchase). I thought on this visit the ladies shoe section was boring for me and didn't find any brands and styles that I particularly care for (probably better for me this way because I probably will have a hard time packing it in my luggage when we go back to Los Angeles later this week). Customer service was friendly upon this visit. The ladies restroom (restrooms are only available on the 2nd floor, in the back of the store) needed some attending to, as there was toilet paper all over the floor and trash was overfilled with used paper towels by the sinks. Not a big fan on shopping. I don't like walking around in crowded department stores like the Macy's in Flushing, NY. But, my it seems my wife likes this place, and had shopped in this store online often. Since it's either coming here or go to their other location in Sawgrass, which is much worst, I decided to go alone with the ride. The store is pretty big, with two floors with lots of merchandise. But, the items were displayed in a very nice and organized fashion. Most of the stuff on the first floor are mostly for women, so personally I didn't have much stuff to look at. The second floor has men's fashion and shes for both men and women. Generally, they've got pretty nice men's fashion, and the prices seems reasonable. But unfortunately, compare to women, the selection for men is much less than for women. Which is okay by me because I am one of those guys who only shops until I absolutely have to. And I am not very picky on any particular fashion so most of the time, I picked something I like and go. The check-out line was easy and breeze. Unlike places like Ross or Marshalls, the line is long and you may ended up waiting for 30 minutes. And the staff at the registers were nice and friendly. It makes the whole shopping experience very pleasant. But don't tell my wife I wrote a nice review about this place or she'll ask me to take here there very weekend!! read more

The addition of this Nordstrom Rack location in Ft. Lauderdale is great. The location is a little hectic being right of Federal Highway and sharing a plaza with multiple other businesses including Trader Joe's. I went early, around 10:30am and there was no trouble. Plenty of parking and not too much going on in the area. As I walked in, I was greeted by loss prevention officer. I was actually impressed with the size of this store. I quickly realized the men's stuff was upstairs so I took the escalator. Nordstrom Rack all have the same clothes mostly. High end stuff and big discounts. I browsed, not looking for anything really. I went in to return a suit I purchased online. See the pictures I've attached - it's a Ted Baker suit I purchased 5 weeks ago. I hemmed the pants and wore it to work - once. When I got home and put the jacket back on the hanger I noticed the right lapel looked lumpy and ridged/wrinkled. No problem I thought, I have a steamer, I'm sure it just needs to be steamed and pressed. Nope that didn't do it and as I looked more closely I realized that the binding material used to construct the lapel was buckled and felt completely different to the left lapel. No problem I thought - I bought this from Nordstrom (Rack) and they have a satisfaction guarantee - phew. WRONG! 45 day limit on returns period and if you've worn something they say they won't take it back. I discovered all this after the terrible experience I'm about to describe. I went into the Nordstrom Rack in Fort Lauderdale and went to the counter and explained the situation, a rather non-verbal representative called over a manager Luis (sp?) who in the most dismissive, arrogant and condescending way looked at the suit as if it were riddled with disease and said "no". I explained that I'd worn it once and the construction of the suit is clearly defective, I just purchased it and spent $20 to hem the pants - I needed to be made whole. Well I was made whole alright, I was made into an a**hole! The pathetic excuse for a manager said I'd worn it and they wouldn't do anything and started to move away from the counter - I said "... you're crazy! Of course i wore it and hemmed the pants - it's a suit and the pants come unhemmed..." well that struck a nerve, he moved back to the counter, scrunched up my suit and asked if I was insulting him... I said yes I was and that his non-addressing of my issue was unacceptable. He started to cause a scene and told me to leave the store. WOW!! I never raised my voice - the only insulting thing I said was "you're crazy" hey maybe I meant crazy-good (didn't). Anyway Luis' little tantrum had alerted the attention of the security guard and a few shoppers. I insisted on getting the manager's name - Nathalie - I was reluctantly given her business card and shoo'd out of the store. Well guys, this is just the first review I'm writing, I'll be on Google next and will be starting an email campaign to your corporate offices today. Nordstrom - You can't treat customers that way. Your brand has been synonymous with trust and white glove service for decades, I've shopped at your stores for decades because of that. I spent 399 on what is supposedly a 900 suit ironically called the "Endurance" design by Ted Baker - well maybe they meant that the potential wearer would have to endure really crap service if anything goes wrong. This Nordstrom Rack is strategically located in the same shopping plaza as Trader Joes. Coincidence in targeting all the moms/people coming from near and far for TJs? I think not. That's pretty much what happened to me-- every time I'd go to trader joes, I'd take a peek to see if Nordstrom Rack had opened yet... Stopped in a few days after the grand opening after picking up some groceries. This is the largest nordrack I've ever been to. The store was well-organized and all of the staff members were very friendly-- of course the place is brand new so the shopping carts were in great condition and the floor was very orderly and it was easy to look for and see everything. The first floor consists of the following sections: clothing for women and children, bags, accessories, hats, watches, and jewelry. There are also various household items on the first floor (furniture, home decor, lights, towels, cushions, candles, trinkets, soap, shampoo, lotion, etc.). There is an escalator and an elevator available so patrons can have access to the second floor, where you'll find the men's section. Additionally, all of the shoes are also on the second floor. The good: staff was friendly and helpful, store was clean and orderly, navigating through the selections were pretty simple and straightforward The not so good: I was disappointed with the selections-- there weren't very many high end designer selections. Also, the sale price of the items were not very discounted (for the ones worth trying on, anyway). Haute shoe selection was very disappointing. Nordstrom Rack just changed their return policy from 45 days to 40 days (in January 2023) without informing customers, despite multiple emails a day promoting their sales/items. I went to the store to return an item on day 44 and they refused to do it. The Nordstrom customer service that made the company so popular no longer exists. read more

Great place to find work clothes. Great deals on a lot of more expensive designers. I also love the candle selection that they have. It is located in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's. However, I have never had any issues finding parking. The store is spacious and I have never felt overcrowded. They have a great and large selection of handbags and sunglasses including ray-bans. The women's section is located on the ground level. mens, kids and shoes are located on the second level. Bathrooms are also located on the second level. Over all a good place to shop, turnover is quick so you can find new items weekly. read more

Overall, this Nordstrom Rack location is 'perfectly fine,' but I was a bit disappointed with the men's selections. Surprisingly small men's department considering the size of the store. This location is a two-story building with the first floor being entirely women's items. So, I was expecting to find an entire floor of menswear upstairs. But about 1/3 of the upstairs space was shoes - both mens and womens - and then another good-sized parcel of the 2nd floor space was devoted to kids. In the men's clothing section, they offer a couple of perfunctory racks of Bugatchi dress shirts that still sell for $70/each and a rack or two of Robert Graham shirts. But after that, I didn't really see too many 'name brand labels' that were being offered. Very few suits/sport coats. Only a few dress pants. However, I did find a great pair of nicer-quality Lucky Brand jeans for $50. So, that purchase made my trip worthwhile. Even these days, the 'outlet' approach can a bit hit-and-miss, depending on the day of the week and the time of the year. But in general, I found the men's selection at the Ft. Lauderdale store to be lacking. Not many 'great deals' on items that otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford. And no matter how you're doing it, that IS the outlet business model. In comparison, the Aventura location seems to have more men's merchandise, more desirable labels and better deals. But, maybe that's just my perception. Again, I'm speaking only to the men's department. I'll definitely return to this Nordstrom Rack. Just not as enthusiastically as I'll continue to shop at the Aventura store. read more

This store is brand new and very clean. The only down side to it is that do not have the same merchandise as the one in Aventura. It is a lower quality selection and a lot less merchandise. The designers are not that good either. The baby department selection has only a few items where as the one in Aventura has a huge selection. Wish they had better stuff. Usually I find myself buying things online and just using the store to return. Every now and then when I go to return something I try a few things on, but mostly I stick to the brands that I know and order online. I never feel like they have great shoes in my size (7.5). They have good workshirts for me, but rarely good going out/dinner clothes. Kind of always feels like leftovers. I just been to this store, it's a nice clean laid out store with mens clothing upstairs, I went thru the sales racks and shoe section and really did not find anything worth buying, this is comparable to tj max, marshalls, ross dress for less. $90 for a long sleeve shirt is a mark down ????? this is way to pricey for the concept it suppose to be, if you can afford the regular prices then how can regular people afford the suff that don't sell. read more
