This was my first ever visit to a Bealls Outlet store. They are an American retail corporation of over 500 stores founded in 1915 in Bradenton, Florida. As you walk in, you get a feel of a Marshall's or TJ Maxx, it has that same layout and similar departments: Men's, Ladies, Shoes, Kids, Home, etc. I found the store a little bit sparse. As I was walking around, I saw many empty shelves and low inventory in certain areas. They do have some items that are fun and unique like wooden wind chimes, wooden birds, etc. Overall an easy discount store to stop in in you are in the Pompano Marketplace shopping center.

Bealls was founded in 1915 in Bradenton Florida. They now have 500 department stores among three chains, Bealls Stores, Bealls Outlet Stores, and Bunulu. All of the stores are still owned by the founding family in headquartered in Bradenton. The first Beall's Outlet store opened in 1987. Beall's inventory reflects Florida's tropical lifestyle. I am about to start work again and needed a wardrobe refresher. Looking to save money I decided to check out this Beall's Outlet. I love their stylish purses, high quality beach towels, cute housewares, and tropical clothes. I am not a fan of digging through racks but the savings you get makes it worth it. In any case this store was clean and organized. Everything is very inexpensive. Calvin Klein dresses are only $25. I like the Caribbean Joe brand which has tropical prints. There are a lot of Lily Pulitzer knock offs. Palm trees, flamingos, beaches, and sea life are popular print themes. I was able to pick up several tops all $10 and under. They even have clearance sections which is an additional discount on top of the already low outlet prices. I would shop at the regular Beall's stores but I seem to have more of the outlets near me. You can't try on the clothes right now due to the virus which is a bit of a pain. I ended up returning a few things that weren't right to another store and had a problem with getting the receipt scanned, According to them this a running problem with the Pompano Beach store. It is something I wish they would fix.

This store is huge with racks upon racks of clothing inventory, shoes and even decorator items. It's a budget outlet sort of place so there isn't pizzazz about it. The reason to shop here is value for your dollar and though none of the items are top line there are a lot of medium line items such as Nautica clothing and others to be found. Check pricing carefully as sometimes it's a little strange. For example I found a blue polo style Nautica men's shirt for $39.95 with the notation to "compare" at $49.95 but the exact same shirt in green for $29.95 with exactly the same comparison price. I can't think of reason to charge $10 more for the same shirt in blue, or thinking conversely, $10 less for it in green. I've been in this place several times and they always seem to have items up at "marked down" prices or mere indicating a percent, usually up to 50% off. They also have many low end items of inventory, especially in kid's clothing, which are of rather inferior quality, somewhat dated in pattern or design and also containing indications of rather poor workmanship. As an outlet budget store for bargain hunters, it's not bad overall. The best thing about it is that I've never seen it crowded.

Love this store! Great inventory, prices, and staff. Similar to Marshalls/TJMaxx but better quality and much cleaner!

Though I'm sure I would look Vogue model ravishing in one, I don't wear women's clothing....really,…read moreI don't......so I probably shouldn't be reviewing a used women's clothing store, but I couldn't pass it up as it may serve as good tip for those who do. Coming from the back parking lot on my way to the next door Mediterraneo Cafe & Grill, I inadvertently entered Up 2 $20 and in a lot of ways I'm glad I did. I was very warmly greeted and while there took advantage of the opportunity to look over there offerings in what is basically women's clothing. The displays and set ups are all well thought out, really good, very much unlike the otherwise junkie types of other budget clothing outlets. And, though I have little expertise in it, I don't think you need a lot of expertise to spot quality products at what are more than reasonable prices, and this place seems to have them. Though many of the items may be dated in style, I think it would be difficult to tell, but more to the point, numerous articles of clothing are what I could easily recognize as being among those often sought after gems of "period" dresses; those seemingly immortal evergreens of women's fashion that perpetually exude themselves in fashion statement style. Indeed Up 2 $20 might be the perfect place to acquire that dress or fashion accessories for a "Period Party." I know I've seen similar offered in some of those chic Las Olas location stores but at far, far more than the $20 maximum price of the items sold here.

The amount of necklaces is overwhelming....I can't tell you how many there could be, but I would bet it would be in the thousands....They are displayed on top of each other or next to each other. The lady was chatting with a local when I walked in, so I did not have a chance to interact with her, but if you are looking for some fun and colorful beads for anyone, this is a place to check out....

Dolly's does not have their own parking lot but there is inexpensive metered parking around the corner. The store is crammed from floor to ceiling with costume jewelry but is arranged by type and color. Best of all it is very inexpensive. Most of it is fake but I did see a few sterling pieces. Based on the tags I saw like the ones from Macy's, it seems to be overstocks. This is the kind of place you want to enjoy exploring with you girlfriend or daughter. If you have that certain outfit that needs the finishing touch, you can find the perfect statement piece inexpensively. Have a ball digging through designer sunglasses, rings, earring, bracelets, and necklaces. If you need any recommendations, give me a ring!
